We have always had a great experience at this dennys! This location is nice new and clean with that consistent classic touch all Dennys have. We hope it stays around because we need more quality restaurants in eastmark. While dennys isn't anything fancy, they always get our orders right, the food is fresh to order and it's never slow service! I just went tonight around 6:30, and there was great service. Interesting though, there was a robot who had the food and the server was next to it (useful for making sure the food doesn't slip and fall!) The ambience is modern mixed with that classic feel, showing pictures and artwork of Arizona and parts of Mesa. My pancakes were great, and I ordered hash browns, which was also good. My only issue was my friend ordered a burger, which he enjoyed, but looked raw. Good job, Dennys! This was great tonight as I have not been to a Dennys in a few years, and that was in California. We visited Denny's this morning with a group of six adults and two children. The restaurant was completely empty--not a single other customer. After waiting a few minutes at the front, we informed the server of our party size, and she told us we would have to be split up because they apparently can't put two tables together. A bit odd, but fine--we could manage. However, things got more frustrating when she brought over the high chair. Instead of placing it at the end of the table (which any parent knows is the best spot to keep little hands from grabbing everything in reach), she removed a chair and placed it right in the middle of the table. When we asked to move it to the end, we were told we weren't allowed to do that--because of the "robots." At that point, we decided to leave. If your restaurant is empty, but you're turning away customers because your "robots" can't accommodate simple seating requests, I have to wonder--are they really improving customer service? Because from where I'm standing, they're just costing you business. Is the ROI on these robots really worth it when they're preventing you from seating customers comfortably? Safe to say, we won't be back read more

I wish I could leave a good review, but this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll get straight to the point. We paid for 2 meals for delivery. One item was missing - my hashbrowns. My husband called to let them know. The woman who answered the phone asked if he wanted to come pick them up. Of course we didn't - we paid for delivery and tipped the driver. She sent him to the manager. He was not only rude, but condescending. He did not apologize or offer to make it right. (What I was expecting: Hey, next time you come in, let your server know and we will credit you for that item.) Instead, he wanted to 'argue' that we did not order hash browns and that they don't come with our meal. So disappointing. My husband told him to have a good day because he did not want his food to get cold. When managers don't lead with great customer service, they lose my business... especially when he was INCORRECT. No apology and they forgot our cutlery. Do better Denny's. Its okay to be wrong, when you own it and apologize. read more

My girlfriend just recently started working here and has resigned very shortly after she was verbally sexually assaulted by another coworker. I asked why she hadn't gone to work today, and she told me someone was very persistent on "taking down her phone number and buying her Dutch Bros after work" and "I want you to make ME a baby" Mind you she's already pregnant. Very disgusting behavior and not professional at all, she wouldn't give me a name because of how terrified and frightened she was. I hope this reaches the right person and he is fired!!! I hope others see this too and don't allow their significant others or even kids to work at this establishment. Too bad there's not a zero start review option. read more

Had breakfast this morning at our neighborhood Denny's, it looked busy... but we walked right in and were seated immediately. Deanna was exceptional, and was on top of our order! She was very pleasant and interacted well with us! The music was at a level that you could hear it but not to noisy that you had to talk over it! the food was served very quickly, and came out very hot and the tasted great! read more

we went to Dennys at Ellsworth and Elliot today. As always the food was prepared perfect, the inlet fluffy and the sausage gravy like mom use to make. Deanna was our server and she has served us before. she always has a smile, is prompt getting our food to us and keeping up with hot coffee refills. The restaurant itself is clean with a great decor. This is the best Denny's in the Valley. read more

A little story, my family and my best friends family go to a Denny's every Christmas eve like Santa Clause. This Denny's is the best one we've ever been to. Our server, Landon, was very kind and was very nice even when we asked for half sprite and half fanta ( my best friends brother's choice). This place even had a robot server which was so fun to see. 5/5 location, I've been here before, and I have to say, I'd recommend going to this location. The food is pretty tasty, from my experience with waiters and bussers they've been very kind. And the general atmosphere was not too filled, but I didn't mind it, since it let me be able to talk with ease. read more

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. We had only taken a couple bites of our meals when my boys needed to use the bathroom. I took them, and intentionally left my purse at the table so it was clear we hadn't left. When we came back, our entire meal had been cleared from the table. It was incredibly frustrating, especially with hungry little kids. The manager came over and apologized and offered to remake the food, but at that point my kids were hungry, upset, and honestly I was too. I just wanted to leave. I asked if they could comp the meal because this was entirely due to their mistake. The manager then said we should still pay 50% of the bill, which was honestly shocking. Paying half for food we barely ate because it was taken by mistake felt completely unreasonable. After I pushed back, they did end up comping the meal. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What made this experience especially disappointing was the manager's lack of empathy and apology--especially as a mom trying to manage dinner with little kids. It turned what started as a pleasant dinner into a very stressful and upsetting experience.
