This is a great brunch spot. They are recently under new management if you're looking for a fantastic place to grab a drink and some wonderful brunch food look no further. They do have a bar where you can watch football on Sundays. They have a fantastic selection of multiple different types of eggs benedict and delicious seasonal drinks, and mimosas to pair with your food. our server was so attentive and sweet. Great experience - I will be coming back!

Stopped for breakfast this morning. Inside pretty crowded? No one sitting outside, so Luna and I settled in to one of 10 tables in the shade off side of building. Quickly seated and our friendly server was right out. Menu pretty much like hundreds of other breakfast/lunch places, but ok with me as I'm always looking for healthy, low-carb choices. There were a couple, nothing too inventive, just a good egg white and veggie omelet and a small side bowl of fruit. I ditched the English muffin and the whole breakfast was less than 25g carbs and had 40g protein with the two extra egg whites added. I believe it was called the Monterey omelet. With coffee, got out of there for under $30 with tax and tip. Service was great. Only improvement potential I noted would be to include some of the more plant-based nutritive sweeteners like Truvia/Stevia. The pink and yellow sweeteners offered are horrible tasting and contain some squirrely stuff,

Their speciality cold brews are really great, my favorite being the salted caramel cold brew! Really quick seating and great service, will add this to my list of brunch spots to recommend!

One of my favorite breakfast spots. They serve both breakfast and lunch items. Remelle was our waitress and she was very good at checking back with us and keeping water and coffee full. The menu has waffles, pancakes, French toast as well as omelettes and your traditional egg breakfast. I got the skinny omelette which is made with egg whites and came with a side of fresh fruit. My husband ordered A traditional breakfast with ham and a side of potatoes. Our orders came quickly and were hot! My omelette was so tasty with the goat cheese melting into the tomatoes and veggies. The English muffin could have been toasted just a little more but the fruit was so fresh, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. No patio dining but they have a great bar at which you can eat. A very cute and comfortable diner

Christa L was amazing and helped us find gluten free options. Food tasted great, and the bloody was amazing!

My friend and I came here for breakfast. It is very cute inside, but their little spotlights in the ceiling are so bright. I asked them if they could turn them down and they said they can't. I get migraines from bright lights and those seemed like they would bother me. Fortunately, I did not get a migraine. I would ask that they could improve by dimming those lights. The service was excellent. The food was very good too. I really love their coffee mugs. It's nice to have a real ceramic mug. Even though I'm doing low-carb, I had a beignet for indulgence and it was excellent. I really liked the marmalade honey to dip them in. I would go back. I really just want them to get rid of those harsh lights.

Craving some brunch & wanted to try a new spot. Hubby was stoked to see chicken & waffles on the main page and I was in after I called them to ask if the patio was dog-friendly and they said absolutely! The patio is on the side and more of a narrow space, but still had a decent amount of seating. Love the bar top seating as well that has a window to the inside bar. Dining room is pretty spacious and the country music brings in that southern vibe. Hubby got the biscuits & gravy. The biscuits were very light and airy, not nearly as dense as they'd initially looked. They were also semi-swrrt and incredibly savory. The gravy was spectacular, lots of flavor, and very well spiced, as well. The eggs were cooked to perfection, as well. The sausage appeared to have been home-made, and were well-spiced, although they were a bit sweet. I got the 1/2 order of biscuit beignets, side of homestyle potatoes, and the 2 stack of the bourbon street pancakes. Omg the pancakes are to die for. So light and the 2stack is the perfect size. The rum butter sauce was divine. Not overly sweet and the perfect compliment to the pecans and bananas. I don't usually like pancakes, or can't eat more than a few bites, but these I devoured (minus one piece I saved for the hubby to try). Definitely recommend getting these (even just to taste or share with others). The potatoes were nice and crispy and not overly seasoned. The beignets were the perfect end to the meal. Doughy center and crispy outer shell & the powdered sugar coated all around. They were the perfect bite size and the honey marmalade was incredible! I also had to get a single biscuit on the side to taste after the hubby raved about them in his dish. They are so light and fluffy with the slight crisp top and so flaky and buttery goes perfectly with the honey marmalade! Jade our server was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful, and she was awesome with Bandit (who was perfectly content to sit by the table and sniff all the goodies being served around us). Also love how much space there was between the tables so he had plenty of room to lay down without being close to other tables. Definitely going to make this a spot we come to again, especially when we have guests visiting us.

Had breakfast with my daughters there after some bad rainstorms and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were tasty especially the titos bloody mary. I like to try unique takes on eggs benedict and the hash brown eggs benedict was surprisingly good. The waitress, Jade, took good care of us and had impeccable timing on when to ask if we needed anything. Keep up the great work.

This was my first time coming and instantly I was impressed, first timers get free Beignets they were amazing... crunchy outside with a moist inside! I ordered the strawberry pound cake French Toast with eggs and Ham. Let me tell you! It was the best French toast I have EVER had! I am not kidding! So moist and very flavorful. Our server Jackie was amazing! She was very attentive and kind! We sat outside and it was perfect! Fresh air with great food, made for an amazing experience! This was my first time but I assure you it won't be my last!

Atmosphere 5/5 Such a cool restaurant with allot of history dating back to 1935/1958/2008/2022 which reflects the years of the establishments service and architecture evolutions. Always a great vibe here! Service 10/5 Our experience tonight began with the beautiful and friendly hostess Bailey. She greeted us with a warm smile and asked us what our seating presence was. We grabbed a booth overlooking Page street and the foot traffic outside. Our server tonight was Treven who joined us table side. He had our drink and starters in quickly. My wife ordered the Lucky Penny Latte and I had iced tea. Starter was their out of this world Burrata. The photos fall short of its glory. Entrees was their memorable minestrone soup, and I ordered their sesame ginger noodle salad featuring sweet potato glass noodles which are delicious and a host of smartly paired vegetables, chicken and a pleasant ginger sriracha delivering some spice and heat without overpowering the dish itself. For desert we fell way off the wagon with their in-house carrot cake. A slice easily feeds four and we enjoyed ours with espressos. Dinner was excellent from the service to the scratch kitchen food, and expressos, Magnifico! $125.00 with tip and leftovers too. Date night my friends-SYOY!

A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together on a Sunday for brunch and here's what I munched: Grande Chicken TInga Nachos ($18 - Shredded chicken tinga, queso, roasted tomato salsa, black beans, pico de gallo, roasted jalapeño, cilantro lime crema): Okay, maybe I don't recommend the nachos. While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. We came in with our family and three kids and sat on the patio since we were a larger group. After eating, our kids were sitting in chairs near our table, chatting and moving around a bit. They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. On top of that, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I honestly had the best burger and tater tots of my life. We'll definitely be back--thank you for creating such a kid-friendly and enjoyable place for families!

We came to Lucky Lou's to spend time with a long time friend of ours. We came here on a Sunday and…read moreno matter how busy they were they seated us pretty quickly at our table. It is a good thing they have a big variety of dishes to order. For me I was feeling a cheese burger and I actually enjoyed my burger. Others ordered a steak and chicken fried steak. All dishes looked pretty good but on this day I was the burger guy. Not a large place but has ample seating for customers. They do have a bar if that is what you are looking for. Today we just wanted to eat and visit and chat. This place is located on Val Vista Road south of Highway 60. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. The service was good and there is ample parking.
