I would advise to disregard the bad reviews, East Mesa is a retirement community and they are a tough crowd. This place has real good authentic food and pleasant service. Space is limited so if you have a big group expect to wait. However if it's just 2-4 people waiting will not be an issue. The food is really fresh. The fries are amazing! They are slightly flavored with a Parmesan cheese powder (I think). Coffee is average diner coffee. Food comes out fast despite the crowd. Service is extremely pleasant, they are never understaffed and the team seems to work really well together. There are also 3 big TVs and they show sports.

Decided to try a new (to us) brunch place local to us and found this lil gem! Wonderful staff that was quick to check in on us and even offered us to-go drinks! Fantastically tasty food served fast! So tasty and the price points were easily worth it. We went around 12 during a Sunday and it was pleasantly packed and there were lots of TVs displaying various news/sports/shows but it wasn't loud or distracting. Will definitely be coming here again!

My cousin and I were doing afternoon tea nearby, but wanted to try a brunch location within 5ish miles of where we were headed. We located Morning Glory Brunchery,l on Yelp, and the reviews looked promising! Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience and likely will not return as it is not located near us and in our opinion, not worth the trip out of the way. What went wrong you might be wondering? I'll share our experience overall that could have been a one off for a Saturday service around 11am. When we arrived, the main area was pretty full so they sat us in the side section. There were still 3-4 tables sat back here, so it seemed promising we would not be forgotten in the side section. Sadly, we often were out of coffee which is a dealbreaker for me when dining for breakfast/brunch. I need my go go juice! The cups were also only 8oz cups, which likely contributed to us running low quickly. Additionally, we asked for lemon for our waters twice but never received. As well as it took 5-7 minutes to get a straw for my Bloody Mary after the server dropped the drink off as they didn't have one on them. They did return with them in a napkin unwrapped, so perhaps this location doesn't have individually wrapped straws? When my cousin sat down, her side of the table was sticky. We did not bring attention to it as it was already difficult to get coffee refills, or a straw for my Bloody Mary. Though the service was a little hit or miss, the food arrived quickly! So quick that our Mimosa and Bloody Mary didn't arrive for another 5 minutes after the food, which I had hoped to have a few sips before the food arrived. Both drinks were okay, but nothing special. For $8 the value was there, but I've also had better flavored brunch drinks elsewhere. Overall, the food tasted okay but we both weren't huge fans of the hollandaise sauce which makes the Benedict. Plus, I thought it was odd the picture advertised on the window didn't match how it was served. Possible use of a stock photo versus what they actually serve? This could have been a one off with the service, and the food overall was decent. Just nothing spectacular that would have be making a special trip to come have again. I can see them being a good spot for locals, but not a destination brunch.

Morning Glory Brunchery is a decent little local breakfast place in a strip mall. They've got all the breakfast basics with decent prices with a no-frills atmosphere. It fits perfectly into the area. We came here on a visit to relatives and it hit the right spot. In addition to standard choices like bacon and eggs or omelets, they have a variety of "skillet" options which include various ingredients and eggs on top. I usually like to order a vegetarian option with some kind of meat added, usually ham, because the veggie choices typically have better ingredients like zucchini and mushrooms. Which is what I did here and the result was pretty good. They also had children's menu options which fit the bill for our little ones. There were enough servers to make sure things were not neglected and the coffee was flowing, which was nice. It's clear that they are prepared to be very busy. Even though several tables ordered ahead of us, the food still came out in a reasonable time. Overall you will have a decent breakfast here. Four stars.

Food was decent and service was wonderful. It's in a great location and the food was cooked just right. I asked for a rare steak and got medium rare, but it's a great diner to sit and eat. The fruit was fresh and good. Definitely a great place to stop by when you want breakfast!

We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

We arrived on a Sunday at their new location, which is super nice, VW bus and all. :) While relatively small, it is many times larger than their old location around the corner. You can sit inside at a table, at the bar, or at one of the few patio tables on a nice day. We sat inside for this first visit, and a friendly server took our order. We chose to order from the breakfast menu, and I ordered The Camper: Crispy double-dipped fried chicken thigh smothered in savory gravy and topped with cheese, three slices of Nueske's peppered bacon, and an over-easy egg, served on a housemade butter biscuit. My wife ordered the CSA Scramble: Farm-fresh veggies from Crooked Sky Farms CSA basket scrambled with three eggs, served with fruit, sliced tomato, and 9-grain toast. Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.
