I usually prefer a rojo-deep red sauce on my enchiladas..but i would order these in a heartbeat..the cheese and onion enchilada was so flavorful! The cheese melted to perfection. They have whole pinto beans -cooked perfectly! --and very tasty. I also tried their Borracho burrito-make sure to ask it be covered in their green chili sauce. A family favorite, we have visited multiple times here and also the location in San Tan Valley. We order breakfast burritos and we order ahead on the app. Food is consistently good. When we have family visiting we bring them here for breakfast as well and everyone enjoys it. Food is always ready for pickup. There is a drive thru. Inside the restaurant is decorated nicely as well, pleasant atmosphere if eating inside. Employees are always pleasant. read more

Had a bad experience at the Queen Creek location . Contact the corporate office to inform them of the issue. The person at corporate emailed and said would take care of it and would send a gift card for the inconvenience which never received. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros plate here for the first time. I was never asked how I wanted my eggs. After driving home I took off the lid and was wondering where the eggs were? That's because the entire container was like a mushy refried bean soup! I finally located the eggs. Submerged under beans. And they were over-hard. I always order my eggs up or over-easy. And went I went digging through my bag for the salsa. There wasn't any! The cashier never asked me if I would like any salsa. Very disappointing visit. read more

But we are a fan of Someburros and this location had been hit or miss. Took a shot and it failed tonight. Ordered chicken enchilada, beef taco with rice and beans, chicken tasted scorched and not fresh. Husband ordered green chili burro enchiladas style and same , scorched. We wanted something fast and easy so finally stopped here. Orders at the counter and they bring it to your table. Free little single serve basket of chips which were more than enough. Choice of either a mild or hot salsa which were pretty good. Personally I like more of a pico de galo style with chucks in it but this was pretty good. Hubby had the 8 combo - taco, tostada, enchilada. They were very tasty. Had the chick in the taco and tostada and enjoyed it. I had the pollo asada burro which was also very good. Unfortunately I started the burro at the end with most of the beans. Was pleasantly surprised when I actually hit the meat. Next time I think I will get it with one of the sauces on top. I am a very patient person. However when I go through a drive through I expect what I paid for (a breakfast) to be delivered within 5 minutes at the earliest and 8 minutes at the latest. I was the only one in the drive through. No one else around. 15 minutes later I am still sitting in the drive through and I have to honk to get the girls attention. She was folding napkins or something and talking to someone else or listening to something by her. Her name was Bri P. After honking, She went from the front of the restaurant to starting to bag my breakfast. The breakfast had already been completed and was on the table waiting to be bagged. She stated she had a lot of catering orders today. That sounds like a Someburros problem and not my problem. Either get some help or extra help that will do the job or do not offer breakfast through drive through. Wanted to check out this place to see what the hype was about. We ordered the Pollo Fundido and 2 asada tacos and pollo taco. With side of rice and beans. My thoughts: not really that good. The burrito chicken tasted like canned chicken, moist but no flavor at all. And a strange topping that tasted like cream cheese. The asada tacos were just ok but very dry. The food brought to the table was lukewarm warm. Serving size was decent. And that's about it. Just another chain joint in San Tan valley, a place where we have nothing but crap fast food. I was unsure of whether to try Someburros for a while and one of the reasons I took longer to try them was because of the reviews being either 'love it or hate it.' Personally as far as a first time experience I would lean toward rating them just slightly over Fillibertos. My experience was as follows; I tried the green chile beef burrito, the cheese quesadilla, the chicken quesadilla and the taco salad. I also got their lemonade. The quesadillas; I liked the cheese quesadilla. It appears they use authentic Mexican cheese and not cheddar like many other places. The tortilla was fresh and though pressed it was cooked just right and not burnt or not so that the cheese didn't melt. Five stars here as they hit it out of the park. I ordered a chicken quesadilla too but this one left room for improvement. The chicken quesadilla also had cheese BUT they put too much shredded chicken. The flavor was good but the chicken, which you could tell was marinated, caused the quesadilla to become soggy by the time my order arrived. My suggestion would be to either strain out some of the liquid marinade from the shredded chicken or use less chicken. The tortilla shell was so soggy that the chicken was essentially glopping out all over the plate and made a mess. I still ate it. Like I said it tasted good but the idea just needs to be better executed. Maybe use chopped grilled chicken instead? As for the burro; Here again the flavor/taste was good, but the beef along with the refried beans was too soggy and the appearance/consistency of the filling was kinda like canned cat or dog food or, at best, Gerber baby food. Honestly it seemed there were more refried beans than there was meat. Now I don't know if this was because they use green chile sauce instead of actual diced green chiles but something made the filling mushy. It seems I told them I didn't want refried beans but somehow it got added in there anyway. So either I'm confused and got the one with beans by accident or received the wrong burro. Be that as it may, the tortilla was good and it tasted fresh; it was just the consistency of the filling being mushy. Likely due to the refried beans which reminds me- Diner beware- if you plan to get ANY entree from this location -that is, anything with beans, you will be farting, so just a warning. So though the food is halfway decent and was tasty overall (I'm not trying to be gross here) just be aware due to the amount of bean filling that you will have gas. Now that said and TMI aside; in addition to the cheese quesadilla, the taco salad was actually pretty good. Fresh beans, lettuce, tomatoes, beef, guac and sour cream. Good salsa. The shell was crisp and held it well and was not soggy. I would definitely order it again if and when I happen to order from Someburros again. Now in regards to the lemonade; it had a strange taste to it. Not sure if this was the lemonade itself or the ice that was in it. I don't know if I would order it again -likely not. It wasn't very good unless it was just this one experience but drink & ice machines can leave foul tastes if not taken care of properly. On ambiance; My order was through door dash so I did not go inside the restaurant and cannot speak to the 'ambiance' but going by other pics it looks pretty nice inside for what it is. Are there better Mexican restaurants? Well, this is Arizona so the answer is a resounding yes. Are there worse places? Absolutely. But you will have to try Someburros and decide for yourself if you've never been before. Would I order from here again? Probably, because I will usually give a place at least two tries so long as my first experience wasn't horrible which, despite the few things I've mentioned here, it wasn't. But, it also could have been better and it could also just be this particular location. They are apparently a valley-wide chain and I have heard that other locations are better, so time will tell. I would probably try other things next time around so as to gauge the consistency as a whole. I subtracted two stars from the review only because of the chicken quesadilla, strange lemonade taste and the excessive beans in the burrito but if I have a better experience next time I will be sure to check in and update my review. Wanted to try this place for a long time and finally made it there. The place is clean and the food was as good as it looks. My only complaint was the temperature of our food. It was cold. I ordered the pollo fundito. The rice was cold and not fresh. The "fundito" was warm from the heat lamp but definitely not freshly fried. Hubby got the green chili burro (can't recall the name but the first one on the menu). He said it was tasty but cold. We are hoping it was just a bad day because the food tasted good. We will go back again and hopefully get hot food or I will take it back and ask for a fresh hot meal and post a new review from there. read more

My wife & I visted the Queen Creek location. The food was great as always and the staff was awesome! We met Monica who recently started at this location. She was very sweet, nice and personable. She really made our visit enjoyable! She was on point with her customer service and making all the guests feel welcome. She told us this was her first job and is still going to school.
