This Denny's is in the Flying J Truck Stop. It is a clean well run. We picked a booth and had menus and our drink order taken right away. We had a BLT and Momma's Fried Chicken Salad. The salad was mostly healthy salad with cucumber nicely placed around the edge of the bowl. The chicken tender was fried perfectly crunchy and flavorful. I wasn't fond of either the Italian dressing or their honey mustard so next time I'll just get a lemon. Food and Service was good. I would definitely go back if I was in the area. read more

The food at Denny's was not great. My hash browns came out burnt and two pieces of bacon equaled about one half piece in total. My significant other only received half of his food. Our waitress was nice, but had many tasks at hand, so not very attentive. The line to pay was 11 people deep. Maybe this is due to staffing issues? Attached is a photo of my hash browns. Dennys is st a busy truck stop. We had lunch there one day since it was convenient. The service was very good. After watching a few orders come out we would definitely go for the burger & fries! My husband forgot his sunglasses st the table. Two days later as we were leaving I decided to just take a wild chance & check with them. What can I say - this place was spot on for a "truck stop" kinda diner! The food was awesome I had the slow roasted pot roast with mashed potatoes on ciabatta bread for $9.99 and a large ice tea, hubby had a vege burger and coffee. The only thing I would make different about my meal is add a little brown gravy over the top of it so it mingles with the meat,mashed potatoes, and bread pulling it all together. Other then that my meal was delish :-) service was outstanding, I am very pleased with good service and the service dennys was awesome we were always checked on to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. Pretty good for my first experience in Denny's. Heard a lot about it and it definitely is as good as they say. Ordered the lumberjack slam, iced cappaccino, & orange spice tea was super good. Whoever the lady supervising tonight was, did a terrible job! She was not backing anyone up, The chicken on my skillet came out raw, we got no refills, and the guy sitting behind us waited for over an hour for his food. She seemed miserable but attempted to be courteous while serving us. The food was cold and the bacon looked like it had been boiled. All three of us got ill... I don't expect much from Denny's besides a dry place to eat food that hopefully isn't contaminated. I literally went here because I currently live in the middle of no where and wanted to have a beer somewhere air conditioned while I did some work on my lappy toppy, and this was the only place open within like 15 miles on a Sunday. Boy, my expectations were blown away. Not only was the hostess super nice, it was her second day and she didn't screw anything up at all. When I asked her what beers they had she handed me her 'cheat sheet'. I went with 'IPA'. (Turned out to be 10 Barrel, but I liked the idea that it was a mystery til brought out to me. I see what they're going for here, and I approve). My waiter was Matt. I get the impression Matt's dabbled in life (d r u g s) and boy was he fun. He danced up to my table, took my order, said he'd swap my pancakes for toast even though the menu clearly said "NO SUBSTITUTIONS". But it's cool, Matt winked at me, whispered slyly, "Don't worry, I have power here," and I got toast. My eggs were cooked, my toast was great, the beer was cold. Some guy even came by to check how my meal was after (he might have worked there? Maybe not?). All in all, this is the most positive experience I have EVER had in a Denny's. First time I tried the Philly Cheese Steak, but I got it with chicken -- very impressive! The toasted bun and cheese sauce were excellent, the chicken seasoned perfectly, I highly recommend it. Got the waffle cut fries, they were well seasoned and not too heavy, it's a great option on the menu. Service was excellent, everyone was very friendly.
