First off, this place is the reason why my family and I will no longer go to ANY Denny's, the pictures are the complete opposite of what our food looked like. I had somewhere to be and we got seated, then our waiter made us wait over thirty minutes to take our orders (let me remind you there were 4 of us) then an elderly couple arrived and got seated after us. After an hour and a half waiting for our food, the elderly couple got their food before us and we waited another 30 minutes until ours arrived. Once we got our food, it's not what we ordered. My mother ordered eggs without cheese and they gave her cheese. She ordered sausage and they gave her bacon and her crepes weren't even half way finished because our waiter said "I don't want y'all running off" and my mother claimed that her crepe was cold and tasted like they just microwaved it. My sisters pancakes looked like they were rushed and my has browns were half cold. The only thing they were able to do is not charge us for our drinks and gave us a small discount. As for a man sitting behind us, he was seated and waited thirty minutes, yet nobody asked what he wanted to drink and they haven't even taken his order. He stood up with anger and walked off saying "I ain't got time for this." If we would've known that we were going to wait almost an hour and half, we wouldn't have wasted money on this place. It needs more people working in the back and I understand that it is not our waiters fault, she was very polite and tried her best to not keep us waiting too long, but there was only so much she can do. After we left, my stomach felt off and I don't feel too well. Overall, I don't think we'll ever go back there. read more

Location was Peculiar, MO. I eat at this Denny's about once a week. Usually it consists of fairly good food and sub par service. Today that all changed! My waitress name was heaven spelled backwards, Nevaeh. She is bright and gregarious and recommended the perfect meal for me, customized perfectly just for me! read more

it was freezing inside air was blasting the kids chocolate pancakes were burned and they messed up my daughters order and then looked at me like i was crazy when there the ones who messed up. Servers could have been better. read more

Waitress ignored me for 15 minutes before saying oh no I ignored you and her employees laughed while manager stood at the end of the bar and talked to her girlfriend. This is just another Denny's in the worst of the worst truck stops of the flying j pilot truckstops. read more

I was given a seat quickly. Maybe within a couple of minutes. Service was decent. Not exceptional but they kept my glass filled with ice tea. It was around mid afternoon and they had a surprising amount of customers in here. I know that some others had poor service but I can't complain about it. read more

This location has just reopened after a big update--all new furniture, paint, wall decor, flooring, and wall tile. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow due to under staffing, but the servers work hard. The food comes out hot and fresh from the kitchen. The loaded veggie omelet with fresh fruit is my favorite. I had a problem once and was very pleased with the prompt and generous steps taken by the corporate office, the field office, and the location's head manager to apologize and make the situation right. read more

My guess is this restaurant is more aimed at breakfast. At dinner, it took 10 minutes to get seated and another 10 for a waitress to acknowledge my presence. Really bad for a trucker on a limited-time break. After all that, the food is Denny's. read more

Awful. Syrup was cold. Toast actually came with green horseradish from cook using a dirty knife.. Sent it back, they used the same dirty knife and it came back green again. Asked for hot syrup and waitress looked at us like we were circus freaks. She did bring out about 3 ounces total for our party of four ten minutes after our pancakes came out. Didn't get to eat much. The service was great the food was good !! My husband ordered the chicken skillet and didn't leave a bite. I had the salmon with red potatoes and broccoli. The salmon was cooked just fine not over done like some places. We topped our meal off with a banana split which we split :) All in all we enjoyed our meal ! A lot of Dennys have stepped up their service and cooking around the country !! I only give it 3 stars because we don't smoke and they don't have a separate room for smokers. Stopped for a late lunch (but actually had breakfast). Service was good at first, but after I was there for a little while, the waitresses...who were very nice...seemed to be nonexistent. I ordered the Honey-Jalapeno Bacon Grand Slam and for the most part it was good. Pancakes were amazing, bacon also, but the hash browns were really overcooked at the edges and tasted like burnt grease (maybe the grill needed cleaned?). Terrible service. I asked for a brewed tea and they gave me a sour tea that tasted old. I politely asked for a new one and they got really defensive. I talk to the manager and he comes back with my tea just to spill it all over my jeans. He says sorry and walks away, we get our food and asked for forks 3x. I would give it a negative star review if I could. WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant and I truly mean that. My husband is a trucker, and I am his passenger. We try to stop at a truck stop that's connected to Denny's because we enjoy eating our dinners there. This was our first, and ONLY time we will ever eat at this Denny's. We waited 10 minutes to be seated (at 10pm). Then our waitress came to great us, took our drink order and brought them immediately. We asked for another minute to look over the menu. Then for the next 15-20 minutes (not even exaggerating) we watched her walk past our booth, again and again going to her other 2 tables. We watched her walk to another employee and say "I'm so f**king done with this place". I walked up to the counter to ask another server if someone could take our order. Then our original waitress walked past our booth yet again, twice and proceeded to ignore us; on her third time passing us, I asked if we could order and she just stood there, looking at me. Didn't even say a word. I said "are you ready?" because she didn't have a notepad or anything in her hand and she just continued looking at me. I ordered my single cheese burger, plain with no garden on the burger or plate, and a side of fries. My husband ordered a breakfast platter. Our waitress looked at our empty cups but walked away without saying a word. My burger was brought out by another server, and it had lettuce and tomato's on it. I told this server I was allergic to tomatoes so it had to be recooked. (I am deathly allergic). The server took my burger over to our original waitress, and she said "of f**king course" and went to the back. She immediately walked out with a "recooked" burger. (Less than 2 minutes). She brought it over to our table, and I asked her "was that remade because I can not eat a burger that touched a tomato, it will kill me" and she said "it was remade" with an ignorant tone. (My mother taught me a trick when I was little to smell the bun for an sign of tomatoes) I lifted the burger and immediately smelt tomatoes, and there was a small piece of one on the burger. With the waitress standing there, I told her this wasn't remade because the tomato piece was right there, and I could smell it and she took the burger from my hand, threw it on the plate, and stormed off. She threw something across the cook line, and yelled to another employee "I'm done with stupid f**king people". My husband and I stood up and left. I will be calling management, and corporate in the morning (it's 11pm here now). Please do yourself a favor and get a meal from the local trash can because it will provide better service than this Denny's. read more
