Went there on a Monday and it was kids night! It was a bit loud but that's ok with us. Our server was Lauren and she was so great! My husband is a hard person to impress and she nailed it with replenishing our drinks to checking on us and she was so quick. We ordered a variety of food and Lauren stuck around to make sure everyone who ordered steak had the right cook temp. Everything that came out was correct. Lauren just took good care of us and we would come back just for that! One of the managers came to check on us as well. It was just an awesome experience all around read more

Love this place being so close to the hotel. Staff are amazing. Steaks are spot on. However ...... to place screaming kids, and I mean screaming kids in the tables right at the bar is so wrong! I was not the only one sitting at the bar who rolled their eyes, and moved seats at the bar to get as far away from this as possible. It's a bar area not a kindergarten area! read more

This staff is amazing. Took 83 yo father and about 23 relatives to lunch today. Treated him and the whole crew so kindly. We were a big group and 2 servers handled our madness without batting an eye. From manager helping to accommodate seating to the final happy birthday "yahoo", it was a very easy day thanks to this team. Well done. read more

We could not have had a better experience! Kara and Jaydon were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. The food was excellent. One of us had ribs and the other had pork. Both were delicious as were all the side dishes. I can't wait to go back. read more

We visited this Texas Roadhouse with friends. We arrived right around 6:00 p.m., so we avoided any crowds or waiting. Our server was friendly and helpful, and seemed to have a good understanding of food sensitivities. The food seemed to be well prepared, and the restaurant appeared to be clean. It was one of the better restaurants in this chain. We would visit again if in the area. read more

My daughter and I went for lunch, getting there at 11 a.m., got seated and service immediately. We both ordered 12oz ribeyes and I ordered min Pittsburgh style and medium rare, as dud my daughter. When I did the test cut at one end it was med rare, but by my third bite it was med well and fully well done the rest of the steak. My daughter pointed out that she didn't receive a ribeye, but instead a smaller strip. Since the flavor was good, her doneness was perfect and the place was getting busy, we decided not to complain. Fantastic experience! My first time in here. Staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Since it was my first visit, they gave me a free bag of peanuts, 3 free sides to sample, 2 delicious baskets of homemade hot rolls with honey butter! First time at Texas Roadhouse. They heard it was my child's first time and they came out to give her a little gift. I appreciate the love. No waitlist, we got seated pretty quick, customer service was excellent. Let's not talk about the food and drinks. Delicious. They made our first time perfect. One of the few places in town that is open past 9pm. My travel partner came in after 9 so I had to scramble for dining options. Not a bad choice but the service was not great. Messed up drink orders and slow. The food was decent enough. They hand slice steaks and my Kansas City Strip steak dinner was actually quite good. Thick cut fries and a large dinner salad. Pretty decent steaks cooked well, nice and polite staff. Tons of TVs with sports and country music if that's your thing. Only real complaint would be the steaks are on the thin side but pretty normal for this tier of steak house. Personally I wish they had a little more to offer for sides. read more

Had another good experience here. This time I tried the Chicken Fried Chicken entree with white gravy. I thought it was pretty good. It was on the early dine special and we happened to arrive before 6pm so enjoyed a little extra savings on our meal. Woohoo! Our server screwed up our side dish orders, things arrived from the kitchen that we didn't order, but she promptly brought us what we DID want. A few minutes later the manager came over and was very apologetic and comped our appetizer as a thank-you for our forbearance for the mix-up. The fried pickles we chose were enjoyable. Very thinly sliced discs with a slightly spicy coating that didn't flake off and wasn't 'beer batter" thick. I'd order it again. Last time I had skipped the fresh rolls and cinnamon butter. This time I made sure to try one. Oh boy. Mistake if you are trying to avoid carbs and sugar that's for sure! Yum! More please! Uh oh, now I'm in trouble. So soft and fluffy. read more

It has been a year on Easter that I have been there. They were very busy I was there around 4:00pm. I always get the prime rib. It has always been great. The service is always great. Me and my family met at Texas Roadhouse in belton last night . I drove one hour and 30 minutes and my daughter and her family drive 45 minutes just to meet and visit and eat at Texas Roadhouse . It was absolutely the worst of any dining experience. The music as so loud that you couldnt talk to anyone because you could not hear over the music . The waitress seemed nice enough . We asked her politely if they could turn the music down a bit . She let us know she couldnt . She explained that's the volume and they are not in control of turning it down . She explained while shouting that when she goes home at night from her job she is yelling at her family because she is so use to yelling . Her ears ring and head hurts . I want you to know I have been in many Texas roadhouses all over the US and not one has music that loud . I love music but that was ridiculously loud . They crammed 8 of us into a booth with two chairs at the end . Our appetizer came and done had salads . We had to call her over several different times to please clear dishes as we didn't have room to eat . Those appetizer plates and salad plates were still sitting there way after our dinners arrived . My grandson found a long hair down in his mashed potatoes. We tried to get somebody to help get us a new mashed potatoes . By the time he got them we had all finished eating . By daughter called the waitress over and asked for my grandson meal to be removed from ticket . She said that's not a problem I will talk to the manager and it will be removed . When my daughter left and stopped at a light she realized they had never taken that meal off and there was an appetizer added that we never ordered . Also games that we had never played . The food was not very good for Texas Roadhouse My steak was way over cooked and very salty . Let's just say it was a night of horrors and we were so happy to get out of there . Okay so my review isn't very thorough because it is strictly on carry-out and only for a kid's menu item. However we have failed finding someplace that my daughter loves until now. They serve a healthy size portion of the real Kraft macaroni and cheese and a choice of side item and a drink. The sides are extensive and range from healthy to your standard option of fries. My daughter chose the mashed potatoes and you could choose a topping for them. We got home with her order and discovered half a dozen of their amazing rolls with it and two sides of cinnamon butter. I was blown away, all for $5.99. Now the portions were on the smaller side for an older child but mine is 6 and it was enough plus a snack for another day. We called to place a carry out order for dinner. We had sirloins, pork chops, and a Caesar salad with sides of green beans, fries, & mashed potatoes. The food was very good (yes, we were hungry!) and we devoured it all! The lady that took the order over the phone was very nice and pick up at the window was sooooo easy. They even gave us peanuts! Every restaurant can have an employee error from time to time. This stores hostess messed up and then the gal taking us to our table messed up. But RV, a manager on duty stepped in, fixed the problems and made sure we were all squared away. It went from a double zero to a 10. Thank you RV! And Seth our server was spot on. We went to the Texas Roadhouse in Belton Missouri for my moms 75th birthday and was told because we had 10 people we had to sit in separate tables! I have been a server for a long time and have never heard of this. Also we were told they could have put 2 tables together but they were 2 different stations, I know that was just an excuse as they could have given up another table for the other server if they took they big party. There was absolutely no concern that we couldn't all be together and visit as we were across the isle from each other and would have had to yell. I am very upset and hope people go somewhere else if they have a party of 10 or more. Ridiculous! read more

Really like the location, it's always busy (even in the afternoon before dinner), but they always get us in really quickly. Highly recommend getting on the waitlist (go to their website). Their buns are amazing and they bring the food out in a decent amount of time. Lastly, we haven't had a bad server yet. They are always friendly, efficient, and kind. Had lots of sauce, cheese and toppings though and was served hot and without too long of a wait. Enjoyed the white cheese sauce that came with the bread sticks we ordered. Drinks were cold and served quickly. Fun ambiance and server had the knack of being available without being the way... Made it a great place to catch up with a friend.

Stepping inside the atmosphere is that of a real (modern) Irish pub, with a full bar and comfortable tables. An old wood and leather feel that sets the stage for authentic Irish fare. Having been to their restaurant in Westwood, I have to say that I like this location better - it just "feels" better. Being part of a group of about 20 for lunch, we were seated in a separate room which made socializing easy without bothering the other customers. After being welcomed by our waiter, menus passed out and drink orders taken, we were informed that their chef was from Dublan and that dishes were made fresh in-house. While I did see Scotch Eggs (I like to think of them as an Irish version of an Egg McMuffin) on the menu, I jumped on their Fish & Chips. The breaded North Atlantic Cod was moist and flakey at the same time, with a great flavor. Included was slaw, mushy peas, and their house cut fries (all very tasty). A dash of malt vinegar and a squeeze of lemon later and I was loving it all! Portions were all pretty large, so come hungry and expect to leave satisfied. Prices are well within expectations considering quality of service, food, and atmosphere. Having been a waiter "back in the day" I was impressed with the friendly and efficient service. Not once did I see anyone waiting overly long for drink refills or their meals. That is very comforting during these "post COVID" times of reopening and short staffing. Kudo's to all involved. It is nice to see a true Irish pub in the middle of Leawood. With this one and the one on Rainbow being about the same distance from my Lee's Summit home, expect to see me returning often. Next time I will try their Scotch Eggs!
