Walked in and the restaurant smelled like poopy toilet water. The greeter did not greet us and looked annoyed that we were there. We got seated by her and sat there but no one came to wait on us. There were about 4-6 workers observed yet there was only one who was working who greeted us while she was sweeping. We left because the place smelled bad and no one came to wait on us. I can't say anything about the food itself, because the lack of cleanliness had my family and I out the door before we could sit down. My two young children had to use the restroom so I took them to the women's restrooms and before we could walk in, we could smell a strong sewer odor. We entered the restrooms and saw toilet paper all over the ground, broken toilet paper dispensers, and the toilet seats had feces on them. We washed our hands and left, along with our appetites. Second time here. Came early on a Monday morning. Was seated almost immediately. The waitress was nice and my food arrived quickly. I did notice a couple of crumbs on my table and I had no placemat so when I stirred creamer into my coffee I had to use my napkin as a spoon rest. Music seemed a little loud but I figured if there were more people in there talking you probably wouldn't notice. I ordered 2 pancakes, a side of hash browns and coffee. Pancakes are super thick and huge but we're still light and cooked well. I could not finish them though because I was stuffed. I was a little surprised that my total was $8.01. I'm always seeing ads for $2 pancakes so I wasn't expecting to spend so much but I didn't look at the menu beforehand so that was my fault. Coffee was $2.35 or around there and it always bugs me that places charge so much for coffee. The food is fine. Just the order taker was very rude. We were getting an order for take out, the website says "NEW" it has 3 pancakes, 3 Eggs, and bacon or sausage... they say "we don't carry that anymore." In a rude tone... why is it on your website as New? Then not even offer an alternative... never mind I cancelled my order. Go somewhere else. Don't need that attitude. read more

WOSRT experience I've EVER had at ANY restaurant I HAVE EVER BEEN TO amid this pandemic.. I want to start off by saying that I understand the circumstances of the pandemic but it doesn't not excuse the fact that a larger group of kids were seated before me when I was the only one waiting in front of the "wait here to be seated sign" and they arrived after me waiting by the "order here" sign. Once she was I aware that I was there first, she quickly setup a table for my family and I and then proceeded to show us to our table it but we just sat there for 35 MINUTES with our even our drinks ordered. My family and I decided to get up and leave she seen us walk away and didn't even apologize for the amount of time it was taking her to walk around in circles and never take our drink order to do the least for us.. mind you my grama is handicapped and at an age where she NEEDS TO have a meal so she can take her medications. Not my favorite place to go. But, there's really isn't a choice when it comes to a restaurant in Porterville. Usually order by phone and they always tell me it'll be ready in 20mins but it always takes an hour!!! And lots of times they always forget some of my order.
