Stopped here on a road trip for dinner. Very convenient as it is just off the 80 freeway. The restaurant looked like any other standard Denny's. The food was ok and the service was too.

I have seen a ton of bad reviews here but my experience was decent and I do not have many complaints. Took only a few minutes to get seated and the waiter was nice. Took a while to place an order but I was in no rush. I got the chorizo burrito and two nutella crepes. I only ordered one crepe and was charged for one crepe. That was a win! The chorizo was salty but the salsa made it better. I have no problem stopping here again.

We stopped here after a long drive and road conditions were too hazardous to keep driving. We decided to have a snack at Denny's before they closed. We were greeted by friendly faces and were quickly sat. I believe the manager stopped by and got our drink order right away. Shortly after our server, Nannette came by our table and made sure drinks were on the way. We ordered shortly after and the food came out fresh and hot, much better than expected. The restaurant was well kept and very clean. Even though they were extremely busy due to the severe weather, service was amazing and the food was great. I would gladly stop here again during my travels.

First off... this is a Denny's.... so don't expect anything more than a Denny's. We stopped in for lunch on the homeward leg of our Great Northern Idaho Road Trip and Family Bonding Experience. The Wife checked Yelp! and said the place appeared decent enough. Overall, she was correct. Part of me wants to give this place 2 stars, but the fairer, more impartial part of me is settling on 3 stars. Because as I stated, it's a Denny's. You can't eat here expecting it to be anything other than a Denny's. The Kid had spagetti and meatballs. The Wife had pot roast I had the Prime Rib Philly steak sandwich and some kind of fries. The Kid doesn't do meatballs, so I got them. I was very surprised that these were three huge, light and flavorful meatballs. I assume the spaghetti was good because The Kid nearly licked the plate. The Wife's pot roast was solid and flavorful. The mashed potatos were obviously instant, but the beef gave every indication of been cooked fresh and not from a packet. Overall, a decent take on pot roast. My Prime Rib Philly steak sandwich was at first a misfire. I specifically asked for it sans mushrooms. What I got had mushrooms. Now you're probably telling yourself 'Hey... didn't he LOVE the mushroom soup at that other place?" And yes I did. But I do not like them on a philly. So I pointed out the oversight to our server who quickly apologized and took ownership of the oversight. In just a few minutes, I had the proper version on the table, complete with a new order of fries, to make sure everything was hot. As philly sandwiches go, it was okay. I'm a huge philly fan and make them at home fairly often. It could have been a bit bigger for the price, and it could have been more flavorful. Again, this is Denny's, so keep the bar centered and you'll be okay. The place was fairly clean for what is essentially a truckstop, the staff were friendly and the service quick. So, definitely a 3 star place to eat.

The computer broke down and our food took a while to come out but in the meantime they brought us a couple bowls of fruit to hold us over.

We opted to sit in the restaurant, since there was no one else in there. While we were there, several people came in and went back to the bar. We wondered if we should have sat in there instead since it was favored by the locals. We ordered appetizer to share between the two of us, and I ordered a cup of their chicken rice soup of the day. The soup was the star of my meal. I wish I'd gotten a bowl instead, since it had good flavor, and hit the spot. The appetizer, on the other hand, was underwhelming. I tried the deep fried mushrooms, cheese sticks, and buffalo chicken strips. The mushrooms were the best of this grouping. The cheese sticks had a funky, freezer-burnt flavor that I didn't care for. The buffalo sauce was way too spicy for my palate and the chicken strips were doused in it, so I couldn't even scrape it off to eat the chicken. My husband said the jalapeno poppers were pretty flavorless. I'm not sure how much longer this restaurant will be able to survive with little to no patrons, and lack luster food. I'm not planning to return.

The reviews were a little harsh but we decided to give it a try. I had to laugh at the comments that the place should be called Crappies. I ordered the hamburger steak with salad and mashed potatoes. It was actually pretty good. It wasn't just a small hamburger patty but a good sized piece of meat. It was well seasoned but the mashed potatoes were from a box. If you are driving through and are desperate give this a chance.

It was a cold and very windy day so a cup of chili sounded perfect. The young lady who waited on us said that she had just made it. And the chef said that she makes the best chili in town. Ordered a cup of chili with a side of sour cream. The chili came out quick and fast hot with a large serving of cheese and onions on top. I love a good onion on top of chili. It adds just enough crunch. Asked for my side of sour cream and was informed that they did not have any. We also ordered the jalapeño poppers. They were just OK. I prefer my jalapeño poppers to be stuffed with cream cheese and not cheddar cheese. It gave it a weird texture and I didn't really care for it. It was decorated cutely for the holiday season of Halloween. If you have a large party, you may be split up at different tables as they do have a few booths and then a counter to sit at. Not very large, but the good thing is they are open 24 hours so if you do crave some food in the middle of the night like a breakfast hashbrowns and potatoes, this will be your place to go.

"So, you want me to put in the order now?" she asked. "Yes, please." "What sides?" she asked. So, evidently, she couldn't enter an order of pre-cooked BBQ and register urgency/efficiency without knowing which sides. When we returned five-minutes later, several others had now arrived. She served a newly-seated table of 4 waters, then returned for their orders, without acknowledging us. Then did the same for a table of two. It was at least 20-minutes before she acknowledged us. I said "We decided on those sides - garlic mashed potatoes and mac and cheese." Then, another 20 minutes before we were served! As she served the other tables in order, having never put in ours, and lacking any consideration or courtesy to expedite it. The food, including the meats, was bland, the sauces overly sweet, being sugar or "honey" based, and the reviewed "large portion" Feast for Two at $28.95, could have fed one hungry individual. Of particular note, after the delay and our Feast arrived with two COLD baby back ribs. Even if this overpriced meal only came with two ribs, you would think any server might have been considerate to add one more for a party of 3 sharing the Feast. We lost over an hour on a requested and first ordered prepaid meal to an in courteous waitress, whom I suspect may not have possessed the cognitive ability to comprehend an express order, for an over-priced order of small-portioned, bland BBQ Feast. Old and run down diner, atmosphere. Definitely, not worth the stop!

We came in about 6pm, (no reservation we took our chances) and was seated right away. I was impressed by the ceiling chandeliers, and the cozy atmosphere. The rooms were small, you could hear them talking, word by word, if you keep quiet because of the echo. I love the fact, it's a Victorian home, but the toilet didn't flush (when I got there and when I used it). The room was comfortable, being 79 degrees outside. I ordered Seafood Fettuccine, and salad. Hubby ordered NY Steak & Lobster. The steak was 10oz. and it came with salad mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were delicious, best mashed he ever had. The steak was pretty good when eaten dipped in butter sauce (he said). My Fettuccine was very hot. As it cools down it start to taste 'runny' but good. I'm taking 3/4th for another meal.
