From the Dennys near this area, this is the fastest one for you to eat, the only thing is that they dont have a free parking

We came here for a late lunch on a Thursday. There were 9 of us (including two small children), and…read moreit was between the lunch and dinner hours so it was not busy. We were brought chips and salsa to munch on while we perused the menu. The chips were stale and definitely not fresh. I liked the salsa, but just a heads up that it's a bit spicy. The food was great other than this. Three of our party had the Tri-Juana which was a taco, burrito, and enchilada. I was told the taco shell was stale, but it was otherwise good. Three of our party had soup (I didn't get any pictures), and they said it was really good. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Poblano sauce. I thought this was incredible. The flavor was rich, and the shredded chicken was cooked just right. It came with rice and refried beans which were also delicious. Most of us had margaritas as well. Their margarita menu is huge. I had the Caribbean Rita was refreshing and hit the spot perfectly. I would definitely have this one again. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because even though our server was very friendly, the service was incredibly slow. We'd been there for 30 minutes before we even ordered our drinks and food. Our server was visibly busy managing many other tables. I imagine the other servers had been cut due to the time of day, but it was frustrating. (That and the stale chips). The ambiance was nice, and the location right inside the mall, close to the airport, was ideal. I would definitely go back, but I would want to try another time of day to see if the negative factors from today would be better.

Both the food and the drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is really enjoyable. My only criticism is that the restroom was quite dirty. If they pay more attention to that, they definitely deserve 5 stars!

I especially appreciated that I never had to ask for beverage refills, even for drinks that required payment. The food was a mix of hits and misses. The Margherita pizza was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and definitely something I would order again. On the other hand, the lettuce tacos were underwhelming. They contained very little chicken, making the dish feel incomplete and not very satisfying. To end the meal, we ordered the tower chocolate cake, and it was absolutely delightful. It was the perfect dessert and a great way to finish the evening. Another highlight was the checkout process. Our check was brought promptly, and the payment process was incredibly fast, making for a smooth and efficient end to the meal. Overall, it was a very good experience with excellent service, great pizza and dessert, and efficient hospitality. I'd definitely come back, though I'd skip the lettuce tacos next time.

Can't go wrong with Cheesecake Factory, which is right next to Las Plazas Americas. We were greeted…read moreright away and promptly seated. This location is very spacious and large, and the kitchen mural was huge! We started with drinks, of course; the Paloma Rosa and Pineapple Moscow Mule, both of which were very good. I don't understand why they don't add the prices to the drink menu. Can someone explain? As for food, I had my favorite: the Santa Fe Salad, along with Chicken Taquitos, Chicken & Jalapeno Fritters, which they do not serve in NJ or NY, I believe, along with Avocado Eggrolls, which our server suggested. Everything was good! The staff were very friendly and the food was promptly served. Overall, had a great time and would drop by again if I visited PR!

Everything we ordered was very good, and on an extremely hot day, I was especially appreciative of how well the A/C was keeping up. I was actually a little cold--and I'm never cold. It felt so nice after getting overheated right before we got there. One thing I noticed while wandering around Old San Juan is that some restaurants likely survive on location and foot traffic alone, while others earn people seeking them out. Semilla definitely felt like the latter. It's tucked just around the corner from some of the busiest pedestrian areas, so it felt like we escaped the crowds for a little while without actually going very far. Overall, I'd happily come back. If you're staying nearby and looking for a good meal without being surrounded by the busiest tourist crowds, Semilla is well worth checking out.
