Came here one morning with my friends and we had high expectations because of the rating, but our experience did not reflect the good reviews. First of all, the service was meh.. The servers kind of seemed like they had better things to do rather than serve us. At one point we asked someone for extra plates for sharing and he said he would get some, but then we saw him come back two or three times to help other tables without our plates and we had to ask someone else. The flavors of the food were all over the place. We wanted to try the Dominican breakfast but they were out, so we got the Puerto Rican breakfast which came with rice, tater tots, eggs, toast, and spam. The spam was EXTREMELY salty - spam is already quite salty as it is but this spam tasted like they added extra salt. The eggs were super bland. We also got the cinnamon roll pancakes which were extremely sweet, but I'll give that one a pass since it kind of implies that in the name. Visited while on vacation in Puerto Rico on March 15, 2026 with a group of four during spring break. It was a warm day, so naturally one of the first things we ordered was water--only to be told the restaurant was completely out of it. To be fair, we tried to be understanding given the island's recovery from past natural disasters, but running out of water as a restaurant is... difficult to overlook. This is a good place for breakfast and lunch. My co-workers told me about their French toasts, so I had to try one. I got the guava-strawberry cheesecake French toast. It had big pieces of bread piled with strawberries and cream cheese, and finished with a chocolate drizzle on top. I'm not sure if I got any guava taste. The bread pieces were somewhat soggy (1 star off) compared to the crispier and firmer French toasts that I am used to, but the flavors were good. I later ordered a Cubano sandwich for lunch, and that was more toasted. The bread they used was sobao bread, a Puerto Rico soft sweet bread, but it was pressed so the exterior was toasted. The waiter staff had THE WORSE attitude. We ordered Mimosas for a party of 7 and the glasses were plastic and had water spots and smudges. We had to ask for plastic cups. The French toast, though they had a wonderful variety to choose from came out burnt and when asked to replace it, we had to accept more attitude with that. The ambiance was ok. I thought it was a cute little place until the lack of good customer service kicked in. If we didn't flag the waiter. (While all the other waiters watched us flag and never moved a foot to assist as he was busy) he didn't come to the table to check that all was well and since the Mimosa was bottomless, we had to call him over to refill the juices. They were so light, fluffy & perfectly balanced. I wasn't a fan of the eggs, they had a fishy taste & the sausage was typical pork pan. They did offer to replace my eggs, but I didn't need it because the french toast had all my attention. To finish I ordered a passion fruit mimosas with a shot of Pama. My wife and I were in Puerto Rico and this establishment was just a few blocks away, so we decided to try it on our last lunch in Puerto Rico. We entered on a Thursday about 11 AM and it was PACKED, they look small, but there is a lot of seating in back. I ordered my favorite, a Cuban. Our server was nice, but everything was very slow and they had a small beer list, so it would have been a five, but those are big things in my eyes. Dalia was the only reason this wasn't a 3 star review. Beautiful space, you do get the "bouncer" treatment at entry asking for a reservation. And although I did have a reservation on this slow Monday morning, I was still seated at the bar. The bacon on the French-which was so unevenly cooked, ranging from burnt crisp break-offs to sludgy fat strips.
