Nightmare experience. Came here to buy a bowl of soup for my sick daughter and since it was past noon alreaxy i decided to order for myself as well. Waited long for my order which was salmon dinner plate and a to go bowl of chicken soup for my sick daughter. Waited and waited but nothing came. Then a young guy came very apologetic about telling me that they're sorry the waitress who took my oder missed and lost my order and he then said sorry she was new. He then took my order and said he'll send a free salad and give me the soup for free. When i finished my food i told another waitress that im ready to check out and i had a bowl of soup order. They gave me a small cup of soup and despite my explanation that i ordered a bowl not cup she insisted that they dont have or they dont carry a bowl of soup. That really frustrate me big time. In the first place i wo t order it if it wasnt on the menu. Second, tge attitude of this waitress. I gave up. That's it ....no next time.for Denny's. I live in the area and this is the only Denny's close to me. Recently I have visited quite a few Denny's in southern calif. a lol but one disappointed . I contacted Denny's Corp regarding other issues with non company stores, but have received any reply's to bad service, bad food, and non standard food. I am now only commenting on this place. The windows, floors tables and bathrooms are deplorable. I was told this Denny's was privately owned, maybe its trying to copy Denny's. Anyway the food was passable, but not good. The service was terrible. We sat for well over ten minutes before anybody came to take our order, and the only reason we hadn't left already was because we were talking so much we didn't notice the time passing.The other person with me tried to get a coffee refill for over 25 minutes, and a server came just as we were leaving. Went there for lunch. Had the new Tuscan super bird sandwich. Nothing to talk about. For $9.50 you would expect a sizable portion. Sandwich was very small, nothing like the picture. Unbelievable I have eaten at several dennys with little to no issues ever but this time we come with a small group at roughly 915pm all of orders have been made within 15 mins sounds about right. So you would think food is on the table 20 mins max you know cause its dennys quick and easy but now 1045 a hour and a half later we get our meals one order under cooked the next was the wrong order 2 others where cold "cold food is unsanitary a health hazard people " and the best part they asked for a tip hahaha after shitty service too. Came in on Sunday night around 9ish, sat at the counter with my husband took awhile to get or order taken. No big deal though. So my food comes out and half of my husbands order comes out, well I pretty much finished my food and his food finally came out. Keep in mind all 6 servers saw his food sitting up there! One of them was standing up eating at the food window, another one of the waitress walked up to the window looked at it and walked away. Our waitress Literally walked by the food 6 times!!! So as I'm sitting here starring at my husbands food that is up at the food window all 6 waitresses pass by me and look at me...not one person ask if they can help us or if they can get us anything. My food was amazing, but the service was pretty bad. I'm pretty bummed out that the staff here doesn't seem to be properly trained in customer service. Also, if this location thinks it is okay to stand at the food window and eat while they're working...clearly the need training on proper health laws! As I was paying I noticed the manager sitting on the counter just hanging out...so clearly he needs proper training too! read more

Walked in for lunch. 1/2 of the restaurant was totally empty of people so we asked if we could have one of those tables. We were told no by the Hostess that appeared to not be very happy and welcoming (masks don't hide everything.) She proceeds to seat us at the highly populated side of the Restaurant where the tables were very close and people crammed into small spaces. Once we saw this we declined to eat there and went to Jack in the box next door in which tables are spaced to social distance. You would think that during a Pandemic that Denny's would care enough about their Customers to where they would utilize the entire seating areas to help social distance people, but no, they would rather cram tons of people into one area and keep the other area deserted and empty. I know they have some awesome Waitresses who would not mind walking a little further for the health and safety of their Customers. Will not be going back in the future. I'm surprised the Health Dept would allow this type of seating arrangement. read more

Had breakfast with my gf's family. Breakfast options is like any other Denny's. Food here is decent and prepared quickly. I think the only down fall to my breakfast was the service. Water came in small glasses and never refilled yet they were eager to refill ice tea and coffee. I ordered a strawberry/mango ice tea chiller and that was never refilled. Waiter never came around again after dropping off the meal and drinks. They had the different fruit drinks either with ice team which were referred to as the chillers or the lemonades. Even the waitress who took my order was confused on the naming of drinks. Usually I can at least flag someone down for a refill, but this time it was impossible...felt like I was being avoided. Went in this morning, got seated in a very small table in the middle of the room. I asked to move and they were able to do so. It didn't take too long to get our food, but every time we needed a refill of coffee or water it always took a really long time. The reason for our one star? She then forgets my order goes help another table takes there order then after waiting a bit another waitress ask for a drink order same order given. One star is generous. The service was slow from the time we sat down until we left. We had to ask why our kids meals were taking so long, and had to wait an extremely long time for an extra order of pancakes from the all you can eat pancakes menu item. I was also told after we already were ready to leave that we had to buy additional drinks to get our kids meals free. I was then told that buying (4) meals off the value and senior menu canceled out our (3) kids eat free items. The manager and cashier were not helpful, telling me they didn't tell me what their policy was beforehand because I didn't ask. Yet I heard another employee saying kids ate free if adults ordered from the adult menu (and no mention of needing to order drinks was mentioned).
