I was pretty disappointed - and I wasn't expecting much to begin with. I had typical expectations of a "fast food" sandwich shop- like subway. But food wise- it was bland garbage. They cut it in 4 pieces and I'm glad I ate 3 pieces of it because I didn't get to the last piece till 3 days later and it wasn't as great as the same day. Over and over again I am just disappointed with many of the employees who work here. See my previous reviews for reasonings. Ordered a sandwich at 5pm today, went in to pick it up, just to find out they were out of the meat I wanted on my sandwich. My phone number is on the ticket from my order and yet they didn't bother to call to let me know. I waited 45 min. until it was time to drive out and pick up my sandwich. There is no excuse why they couldn't have called to let me know. I had asked them why they didn't call and the response was, they didn't think about it. They weren't busy at all and were just standing around when we came in to pick up our sandwiches. Now I am left to get food somewhere else. The sandwiches here are good but the customer service is majorly lacking. I've given this location chance after chance, after chance and I think I'll be taking my business to the Jersey Mike's in Orcutt from now on. It takes a lot for me to move on from an establishment because everyone deserves a second chance but after chance 15, 16, 17.... it's gotta stop somewhere. read more

I love Jersey Mike's! This location has really convenient parking and lots of indoor seating options. On my most recent visit, they had so many staff working behind the counter. It helped move the line along quickly and everyone was so friendly. I usually go for the #8- so good! I add pepperoncini's to give it some heat. Great place to go for a quick meal. This is my second time at Jersey Mike's and my first experience was great, food was great, but my second time around tonight was terrible. The customer service from the man who served me my sandwich was not friendly. Also, when I ordered my sandwich he said he already cleaned the grill so he did not have any bacon available. Ok so I have given this place about four chances to prove me wrong that maybe i just picked a bad day to buy a sandwich. However, they continuously disappoint despite the fact that I really like their sandwiches. The customer service and management is substandard to say the least. I finally decided to review in hopes someone associated with their establishment will read and make some positive changes. The employee /manager turnover is fairly high. I rarely see a smile or receive any type of greeting and the wait is horrendous. My last visit I was in line for over 35 minutes to learn that their credit card machine was down (luckily I had cash but several patrons had to walk out). The employees were more concerned with filling online orders than assisting with the line that was about 12 deep. No apologies, no thank you for waiting, no hello, no smile ...nada! There rewards system was down as well. :( It was a double point day which resulted in nada because you can't add points manually. The meat is sliced extra thin, which I love. the bread is super fresh and the amount of meat on the sandwich is great, you dont feel like you are missing half of the cold cuts like other sandwich places. the subs are great everything fresh but what good are the gloves doing on the employees when they run the cash register and involved in touching your food? We watched three people make the subs (made 6 including ours) cashier rang up one order then started putting mayo, lettuce, and cutting subs to help out. When we walked in, only one other person was in line. There were 5 workers total working on a large order to go. The girl making our sandwich was too busy complaining about a coworker that wouldn't come in to work on his day off, to even attempt to make my sandwich. Once we eventually got our order, we proceeded to sit down. All the tables were dirty, the floors were sticky with visible dried soda (almost certain from the night before), fingerprints on every surface. When I asked the cashier, who was the only one not busy, to clean the table, she looked very inconvenienced. She came out with a wet rag (WATER) and proceeded to clean ONE table, the rest were visibly just as filthy, but I'm sure she was going to come out and clean them if someone else asked at a later time I'm glad Covid is a thing of the past, because this establishment would have been shut down for lack of cleanliness otherwise. Bottom line, I understand that it is hard to find people to work in these unprecedented times, but for a restaurant, cleanliness is NOT an option! Not now, not before Covid, not EVER! Hire a nightly cleaning service if this is an issue, the place clearly needs it. As for addressing this review, surely from someone at Jersey Mike's headquarters, I know nothing will be done about this, as you're probably too busy making sliced meat decisions to care about the working conditions of your clearly overworked, and underpaid workers to care. Craving for some of our favorite sub #13 Traveling and found this location closer to the hotel we're staying at. Anywho I as soon as I walked in the vibe felt weird. They started with our sub but they weren't listening to what I was saying. I told them just add very little because it'll be soggy by the time I get back to the hotel. Let me just say I am writing this right after I left this place. This place used to be my absolute favorite go to, but recently subway has and will be my go to from now on for these reasons: 1. NOBODY was wearing a name badge so the fact that I can't name them here is really upsetting because I would love for them to read this and change their ways. 2. Second the moment I walked in the guy with the BIG CURLY HAIR with NO HAT or NET, said "fuck" when he walked us and another party walk in. It went on the DIRTY METAL TABLE 3. The girl who switched with him so he can clean - she wiped her nose with her hands - put on gloves and started putting our sandwiches together. She mixed onions with sandwiches that didn't have onions on them and I'm HIGLY allergic to onions. 4. For the person in front of my wanted MIKES WAY and I didn't - she didn't bother separating the sandwiches - instead she poured the liquids all over BOTH sandwiches. 5. She continued mixing the mayonnaise spatula with other sides. Not one time was the metal table wiped and she didn't change the wrapper that EVERYONES SANDWICH WAS ON. The guy had wavy "big" hair it's just disgusting that he doesn't wear at least a net... but maybe because it's closing and there's no managers that's ok. The girl who helped us had cherry earrings ... just very disappointed especially because we pay a premium for Jersey Mikes VS Subway.. DISGUSTING. & BTW I was even mad that they had only wheat bread but I thought it was interesting that they had a months worth of tomato's but barely any bread. Rant over.. never coming back. I just finished a delicious "super sub" from this location. However, there were two things that need to improve. 1) LONG WAIT TIME: the wait time just to order was 15 minutes. Add in the time to prepare my sandwich and I had spent 1/3 of an hour in the shop for a take out order of a single sandwich. 2) SPOILED PRODUCE: the lettuce looked odd so I asked the young woman preparing my sandwich if it had dressing. She responded that the lettuce was just from last night. At that point I was disgusted because it looked wet and had visible brown slithers. I asked the woman to remove the spoiled lettuce from my sub and she just took it off and threw it back into the lettuce tub despite the fact that it had already been in contact with the fixing on my sub!! The only place that nasty lettuce belonged was in the COMPOST! Clearly old lettuce "from last night" should not have passed whatever quality control which may or may not be in place. Apart from the wilted salad and long wait, I enjoyed my sandwich. The rosemary parm bread was super fresh and delicious. PRO TIP: I recommend skipping the oil and vinegar (Mikes way) because it makes the bread soggy fast. read more

DO NOT EAT OR VISIT THIS STORE...i repeat...Absolutely do not eat here! Incredibly rude service. We came here because it was my gf's Mom's birthday and wanting to enjoy a free sub for her birthday. She had literally signed up the day before to be able to join the Jersey Mike Club. 1. They were not aware of any sort of promotion - period. Lily - who was amazingly rude, and had a horrible attitude did not know anything about any such deal! She did not care to want to either help or assist us to offer her or us a great experience especially as a new customer. This is one of the reasons I come here! They have amazing subs, great service, good ingredients but it's obvious this store does not know how to treat their customers to offer them a pleasant lunch. 2. They did not care to hear anything we had to say, knew nothing about their promotions and did not not want to help in any reason. Lily was the supervisor and had absolutely NO IDEA to what it means to help a customer. In the end we did not want to get into it - we got our sandwiches which were smashed together and thrown into a bag and she said "be on your way". I have NEVER been so disrespected for buying a $6 sub. Why even come here where they don't care about their work or the people that come in their shop. Horrified. Go elsewhere where your money is better received and you leave satisfied - not angered by how you were received for just trying to get lunch. Always been a fan of Jersey Mikes but most of these central coast locations have had terrible service. All that changed for the better once district manager Brian took over. The food is delicious, the orders are accurate and timely, and the customer service is better than I've ever seen it around here. My wife & I were in town for the weekend. So we wanted to pick up Jersey Mike's and take it back to our hotel room for dinner. We stood about 8 miles away, so I called the store around 8:20pm. I asked what time did they closed because I wanted to pick up dinner. The young lady stated 9:00pm. I responded perfect see you in a bit. We arrived at 8:45pm and the lights were already turned off. I noticed the open sign was still on, so I got off the car to double check. Unfortunately, the door was also locked. I drove 8 miles to this location for nothing. This location definitely does care about customer service. The lady on the phone should of told me they close early. That way I would not have wasted my time. read more

First time coming to this location and I don't think I'll be back. I always order the chipotle cheesesteak and add lettuce when I go to any Jersey Mike's. My order is saved in my online account so I thought it'd be nice and easy to get it correct. I arrived and it was busy. My order was on a table labeled online orders. I thought "great, I'm in and out." I should've checked my order but I was in a rush. I get home and immediately notice the terrible wheat roll... and they forgot my lettuce. I mean a philly on a wheat roll, just terrible. Me and my family try to call the store for over an hour and the line is busy. Guess I don't have a choice but to eat the meat & cheese. I absolutely love Jersey Mikes. I have never had a bad experience here or at any other Jersey Mikes location. Their sandwiches are always made fresh and even though you're paying a little more than other sandwich places you're getting a LOT of food. One giant sandwich can usually last me 2-3 meals. If you like Turkey I suggest you try the #7. It's one of my faves! Also, if you're in a hurry try ordering online for pickup. I placed my order on their website and arrived about 20 minutes later.
