a plate of food left on the table

I think this picture speaks for itself. What was devoured- delicious French toast slam, stack of perfectly cooked pancakes, eggs cooked to perfection, turkey bacon. My bf ordered a brisket sandwich which he gave a 10/10. Before we feasted, we were greeted by a nice young man.

walking into dennys, I immediately noticed how organized and clean everything was. this place was pretty from inside and out which i appreciate. The food was also pretty good and my server was attentive throughout my visit. I really recommend this place!!

tried the new waffle this morning here and it was amazing. It was crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The fruit on top was fresh and added just the right amount of sweetness. I am already looking forward to going back and enjoying it again soon.

Door locked couldn't speak with with anyone at the time.

Horrible!!! Made a mobile order and when I went to pick up my order that said it would be ready in 20 min, the restaurant was closed for renovations! A manager left me a voicemail the next day apologizing saying they are going to refund my money. (I still have the voicemail) They never did. This was 2 months ago!! I've been in there 4 times since and spoke to a supervisor twice and employees twice. Each time I left my information and they even took pictures of my mobile order from my phone. Nothing has happened. It's ridiculous! I hope something finally happens about this!!

3.5 stars Your standard breakfast joint that opens 24/7! They serve a variety of food from your typical breakfast, holiday or seasonal menu, some appetizers, soups and salads, full on lunch menu, a 55 and over menu, drinks and desserts. The portion size is pretty big and the meals are filling. Saturday mornings are busy at the Denny's in Santa Paula but I still felt like we were seated and our food came in a timely manner and exactly as we ordered! No mess up from the kitchen even when they were so overwhelmed. The salted caramel banana pancakes: 5 stars! If you like sweet pancakes this is the one for you! Sooo good! Will have it again for sure Moon over my Hammy with upgraded seasoned fries for an extra 1$: 5 stars. Fries were crunchy and spot on. Very well seasoned. The ham, egg, and cheese sandwich was good but bread could have been a tad more toasted. Honey jalapeño bacon with the hash and scrambled eggs: 3 stars. Upgraded these bacon for a dollar. Bacon needed to be more crunchy. Would not order it again. Egg and hash were your average entree as you would expect. Could have done without it. Parking is convenient in its own public parking lot. Wait time was like 10-15 mins to be seated.

    Grand slam breakfast was yummy

Well, you got a remember you're not eating at the Ritz Carlton when you are at Denny's. But, this DENNY's in Santa Paula is in a great location, is very clean, and welcoming. It is really nice to have Denny's and Santa Paula. MY BREAKFAST WAS YUMMY!!! This morning, I had my free grand slam birthday breakfast. It was great. The service was friendly and prompt. I've been here many times but it's always nice giving a free breakfast :-)

However, we have also ordered lunch & breakfast &, again, it's pretty pricey but honestly not as satisfying as dinner. The breakfasts are pretty good- have had some nice omelettes. As far as lunch is concerned- I feel disappointed. There was a picture of the fish tacos on yelp that looked good, so I decided to try them for lunch. It was not at all what was pictured. The fish was so so so dry, large clumps of american cheddar and just not any good flavor. Plus- they were $19. For a $19 quick lunch-I just want to enjoy my meal. I have had better fish tacos at Foster's Freeze, to be honest. I dont imagine myself coming here for lunch again.

If you know anything about Gunsmoke BBQ and Beer in Santa Paula, you know their barbecue already…read morehas a solid reputation....but finally making it into their restaurant just confirmed everything I'd been hearing. I've had the chance to try their BBQ at local events around Ventura County, and it always left an impression. They make some darn good BBQ. BUT for this visit we ended up highlighting something just as exciting...their vegetarian options! It definitely says a lot when a barbecue place has great non meat options. I came with my friend Raquel (yelp elite) for lunch and we went all in on their vegetarian plates...well with one exception, we ordered the deviled eggs too. Let's start there: Their famous Candied Bacon Deviled Eggs are a must. Creamy, flavorful filling, lightly battered egg, topped with crispy bacon...yeah, they're as good as they sound. 10/10. Now for the vegetarian standouts: The Fried Avocado Bites were simple but done so right. Perfectly fried and paired with house made sauces that really brought everything together. Super shareable and perfect as a starter. 10/10. The Cauliflower Tacos were a reminder that you absolutely do NOT need meat for a great taco. These were hearty and loaded with (again) incredible sauces. My friend was obsessed and I get why. They were good, but I would prefer a meat protein taco at a spot like this. 7/10 for me. Beyond the food, the experience really shines here. The space has this perfect mix of country charm and rock n roll edge which is such a fun vibe. Service was top notch, and we love when owners are present and genuinely care. They stopped by to check in, which always makes a place feel extra special. And shoutout to our server Bentley, an absolute sweetheart. Next time you're in Santa Paula, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Gunsmoke is located in Downtown Santa Paula. I didn't pay close attention but I don't believe they have private parking. If you don't know SP, there is street parking and some parking lots. I would be mindful when you are planning to come for parking. I came with a friend midday so there was plenty of parking and seats as well so we got seated right away. I was happy to see the non meat options they have available. I was a bit bummed out they didn't have their hummus but it's just another excuse for me to go back. I did end up getting their cauliflower tacos. My friend got their avocado fries and their devil eggs. I had never had devil eggs, and tried those and were so good. I wanted more but I had already had all my tacos. I did appreciate the owner coming to greet us and finding out I was pescatarian. He was nice, mentioned that even though they are a BBQ spot, they still want to value those customers that don't eat, and asked if there's anything I think of to let him know to see if they can add it to the menu. Really appreciated that. Overall, bummed out I wasn't able to try their BBQ. The options I did try were all really good. I would come back.

I live close but by the time they got to me, the tortilla was not as crunchy anymore. Still enjoyed them. When I went in, got the chilaquiles again since I wanted to eat them fresh. Even better. Loved the sauce and how crunchy they were. I did get the red ones. They are a bit spicy for those who don't like spice. I have really liked that they use black beans instead of pinto beans. Their red rice has always been nice an fluffy. Another time I went I tried their quesobirria shrimp tacos. They are tied for my all time favorite spicy shrimp tacos. They were so good. Cocina 1912 is located in downtown Santa Paula and was easy to find. Large signage outside and plenty of 2-hour parking out front and across the street. This restaurant is surprisingly large. Not only do they have the regular dining area but they also have an attached second room for dining and a larger event space. This space can be rented out for markets, parties - you name it. Would make a great music space too. Another standout here is the staff and the hospitality. The young gal working behind the counter was super nice and welcoming. She helped us with the menu and on deciding what to order. What I also love is even though it's an "order at the counter place", the staff were attentive to come over to our take multiple times to check on us. Talk about A+ service and care. This alone would keep me coming back. Thankfully, the food is equally as good and tasty! We started with a Jamaica drink which was refreshing and hit the spot. For our mains I ordered the Al pastor tacos and my friend went with the shrimp tacos that were made queso birria style. Lastly, I ordered a side of rice and means. Everything was tasty and satisfying! The tortillas are freshly made each day and you could really taste it. The Al pastor and sides were about a 4/5. Not the best I've had but totally satisfied my craving and I'd get them again. The real star of the show was the shrimp tacos! My friend let me try some and I was blown away by the freshness of the shrimp and thought it was a delicious dish. Very spicy though so I know I can't hang lol. Regardless though I loved them, so if you can handle spice and love a good shrimp taco, you absolutely must get these. Such a solid experience here and a fun time with my friend. We'll definitely be back!

In all the years we've been coming here, we've never had a bad experience. This past Saturday, my wife and I stopped in for lunch because we were craving something different. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich "wet," covered in their homemade buffalo sauce with bacon and lettuce. You can customize it with cheese, tomato, or any toppings you like. It came with a generous serving of perfectly crispy fries that paired perfectly with the sandwich. My wife ordered the wings and chose half traditional buffalo and half garlic lemon pepper. They were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Her meal came with celery, carrots, ranch, extra buffalo sauce, ketchup, and she couldn't resist adding an order of their delicious fries as well. The food arrived quickly, was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and, as always, we had an amazing time. Whether you're looking to grab an ice-cold beer, catch the big game, enjoy a great meal, or simply relax in a welcoming sports bar atmosphere, I highly recommend The Draft. Great people, great food, great service, and an all-around fantastic place that never disappoints.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We ordered 4 basic cheeseburgers, small fries, and only 2 drinks, and the total came to $67. For what we received, that price felt incredibly high, especially compared to other burger places nearby. The burgers looked great with all the fresh toppings and vegetables, but the flavor just wasn't there. They were big and visually appealing, yet surprisingly bland. It felt like a lot of ingredients piled together without much seasoning or taste to make the burger stand out. The one bright spot was the customer service. The staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely sweet throughout our visit, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was shocked and disappointed. I don't mind spending $67 if the food is worth it, but in this case, it simply wasn't. The desserts and ice cream are still 5-star quality, but based on this experience, the burgers were mediocre, flavorless, and way too expensive for what they were.

The restaurant offers a lot of choices- they have a special drink menu for brunch, as well as a brunch, lunch and dinner menu food items. Plus, a menu for drinking throughout opening time. There is something for everyone on the menus- that include a selection of salads, seafood and meats. Plus, an array of appetizers, and more. We settled down for a couple of drinks- With the recommendation of the bartender's top drink choices- I choose to get a lemon drop. The lemon drop was a perfect ending to my night. Great for a warm night. Dillon, the bartender, also suggested a spritz and margarita. I will be back for a bloody Mary with stuffed olives, but maybe for brunch. On the brunch menu, I am looking forward to trying an eggs benedict with my drink. As for ambiance- Parque 1055 is a great space. Great food, great drinks, outstanding service, and one of the best outdoor dining atmospheres in Ventura County. We'll definitely be back.
