Perfect lunch stop in Tuba City. The server, Megan, was friendly, the service was fast, and the food was good.

Over all it was good I have had breakfast and lunch there due to me staying in the hotel that is attached to Dennys. The service was good and quick. The breakfast was really good and the burger was really good as well. There isn't much in Tuba city and you can't go wrong with Dennys. I didn't have to wait long. The establishment was clean and well kept. Everyone that works there is super nice.

This Denny's located on the Hopi side of Tuba City has a pueblo facade. The menu is standard Denny's without local flare. It is adjacent to the Moenkopi Inn and is one of the few sit down restaurants in town. Solid food in a nice building

No frills spot. As with any Denny's location, you can guess what's coming to the table based off their standard menu offering plenty of pancake/waffle/omelette options for breakfast. On a sleepy Monday morning, the place was relatively quiet and the waiter worked hard to accommodate me. I ordered a veggie egg-white omelette stuffed with plenty of vegetables including zucchini (which wasn't a great addition), plus side of hash browns. The food tasted good although it was nothing to 'write home' about. This establishment was quite clean. The kitchen was working hard to fill orders and the waitressing staff worked efficiently to seat guests. Across the reservation, this place had the best wi-fi connection, too. Folks may complain about their wi-fi connection but GOOD LUCK trying to get better connection elsewhere on the indian reservation. I would consider coming back here again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE MEGAN! Do better or find a job at the MVD, maybe even the chapter house

If you can't handle all your tables I suggest handing some over to the other server. You should know that your tips reflect on how well the service is, do better.

Had the Gouda Bacon Burger at Dennys for dinner. It was very good and almost more than I could handle with two hands. Cooked the way I requested with a side of steamed brocolli. No complaints at all. Service was also very good. Place was clean. Try to avoid the rush particulary during the tourist season.

Terrible service, waitresses are rude. Shift manager rather defended the waitress and lied to defend the waitress/waiter.

I'm not expert but I approach everything with unbiased expectations as much as possible. A quick Google search can provide high level insight even though it isn't necessarily consistent across all interactions or people. Initially I thought it was called Hogan because of a family last name but research suggested it is more about the Hogan traditional dwelling. Ambiance and decoration suggests that as well. Beautiful wood and earthy decor. Not overly bearing but rather great balance. People were kind but not overly attentive like I'm used to at American restaurants but again it is more aligned with communication styles and culture. Your experience could be different based on your server just like any other restaurant. Our server was kind, respectful and provided great service. He also would remember guests from different countries who shared sayings in their native languages which he repeated to us as greeting and also goodbyes. It was impressive and well thought which I appreciated. Now onto the food. I enjoyed my mutton stew with fry bread. I am used to more flavorful stews but this stew was cooked very well and delicious. I added a bit of salt and pepper but honestly it was good without it. Mutton was soft and not gamey. Vegetables were well cooked and soft. Fry bread was tasty and freshly fried. It was not overly greasy and excellent to rip and dip into the stew. I actually feel really good after my meal. Overall enjoyed it, again, because I was open and understanding of differences. No complaints about my experience. If you are stopping by for the first time, I hope you also have the same experience.

Very friendly staff and the food was good. If you're out this way stop in for a bite.read more

There is a restaurant, hotel and a giant gift shop in the building. The amount of amazingly beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery and accessories ... just mind blowing! Very hard to walk away from buying anything, so be prepared to spend some serious money here! Besides more turquoise jewelry, I also bought some Prickly Cactus Pear Jelly, and a Prickly Cactus Pear Marmalade. There are multiple cashier counters, so you don't have to worry about waiting in line for too long. The cashiers are very nice and helpful with any questions you may have. My wife went with the Nathan's hot dog loaded up with chili, cheese, and onions. Honestly, that was the safe play and it paid off. The hot dog was good. Solid. Dependable. It did not try to reinvent the wheel or elevate the hot dog experience. It just showed up, did its job, and moved on with its life. Respect. I decided to get adventurous with the Native Taco. And by adventurous, I mean I ordered something that is basically chili, cheese, onions, lettuce, and salsa sitting on what I can only describe as pizza dough. So imagine a taco. Now imagine a slice of pizza. Now combine them and remove most of the seasoning. That's the experience. It's actually an interesting concept. I'll give them that. Taco pizza energy. But everything kind of blended together into one unified note of... fine. Not bad. Not offensive. Just polite. It felt like all the ingredients had a meeting beforehand and agreed not to outshine each other. The hot chocolate was good though. No sarcasm there. It hit the spot, especially with that canyon air reminding you you're not at sea level anymore. All in all, it's three stars. You're at the Grand Canyon. You're not here for culinary fireworks. You're here for one of the greatest natural wonders on earth. The food is there to keep you upright and moving toward the rim. Mission accomplished.
