No frills spot. As with any Denny's location, you can guess what's coming to the table based off their standard menu offering plenty of pancake/waffle/omelette options for breakfast. On a sleepy Monday morning, the place was relatively quiet and the waiter worked hard to accommodate me. I ordered a veggie egg-white omelette stuffed with plenty of vegetables including zucchini (which wasn't a great addition), plus side of hash browns. The food tasted good although it was nothing to 'write home' about. This establishment was quite clean. The kitchen was working hard to fill orders and the waitressing staff worked efficiently to seat guests. Across the reservation, this place had the best wi-fi connection, too. Folks may complain about their wi-fi connection but GOOD LUCK trying to get better connection elsewhere on the indian reservation. I would consider coming back here again. read more

Had the Gouda Bacon Burger at Dennys for dinner. It was very good and almost more than I could handle with two hands. Cooked the way I requested with a side of steamed brocolli. No complaints at all. My Dad and I were looking for a place to eat since we were going to stay one night in Tuba City. I had some hesitation reading the previous reviews for this Denny's, but decided to have dinner here. After all, the reviews were relatively old. I'm pleased to say our experience went well. The waters didn't take an hour (2 minutes top) and our meals came out in about 10-15 minutes. The staff are courteous. They were also few other groups of people dining, and their meals came promptly. Keep up the good work! I have been to this Denny's a few times when in Tuba City. I find the meals here to be quite good. I always order the Tilapia. You can't go wrong with this meal. It is very tasty. The service is different than most Denny's but, overall it's good. I will give it three stars even though it is a spot for a decent dinner. When we got to our table we waited about five minutes which is normal then our waiter came didn't greet us or ask what drinks we what, we got our drink orders but the drinks took 15 minutes to get to our table. When we ordered our food about another ten minutes went by before getting our starters and he didn't bring any plates or silverware, we asked for silverware then they brought it to the wrong table so we had to go up again and ask and by the time he tried to give us the silverware the food was cold. I got the 9 grain pancake meal w/ eggs, fruit, and toast (instead of meat) as well as the mango lemonade. All really delicious. Though our waiter took our order and two other tables orders at the same time without writing anything down. We were pleasantly surprised that everything was correctly served. We waited 2 hours for our food. We had to get our menus, then we had to find a server to take our order. Score this we had asked the hostess to take our drinks after waiting for awhile to be greeted. The hostess told us, "That's not my job." Hostess said she will find us a server which took another 30 minutes. Finally the server took our order but she wasn't to friendly. She never came back to fill our drinks, give us silverware, napkins, or ticket. We kept going to the bar to ask for salsa, silverware, napkins, refills, water and anything we needed. We had to get everything ourselves, minus the food. When we were done and the only table in the building we were still ignored. We had to find someone to get a ticket from and requested the manager. He didn't come out till 30 minutes later. He tried to avoid us to. He gave us 10% off ($3) and that's was it. He said next time ask for a different server, avoid the other one. Food is ok, service is always poor, food delivery and service is slow. Price is affordable for portions that are very small in some cases. This was a really disappointing meal!! We pulled in exhausted from a great day at the Grand Canyon hoping for a decent and quick meal. NOT!! The food took over 35 minutes to arrive after we ordered, and when it did most of it was cold. The veggies with the Chicken were cold, the salad had rotten tomatoes in it, the spaghetti and meatballs were cold. Nachos were hot and surprisingly good. When I mentioned the cold veggies to the waitress she said 'OK' and I expected I'd get a hot replacement but no luck. I had to mention it again when she brought the check. They did take the price of one meal off but still, a lame experience. We weren't expecting that much and Denny's fell way short. Ugh. read more

Let me preface this with the fact that it is a Denny's. A Denny's in Tuba City Arizona, the definition of the middle of nowhere. Tuba City is not exactly a hot bed of fine cuisine and Denny's is not exactly a fine dinning establishment. Needless to say my expectations were not very high. That being said I must have hit them on a good day based on the other reviews. I have no complaints at all about my visit. The restaurant itself was clean and updated. This place was absolutely disgusting! We were seated in a booth with the seats so torn that the foam was sticking out. If you are going to be so cheap so as not to replace the seat, at least tape it up so it is at least somewhat presentable. The entire place was filthy, especially the bathrooms. Wow! Since when do you pay extra to have your eggs cooked medium instead of getting them over easy???? Now at your local Denny's here in Tuba City. I challenged the manager over an additional .99 cents charge and I was told that is because she didn't want her eggs "original" whereas I replied so to leave the eggs on the stove a little longer you charged me .99 cent more.... Her reply was "yes". They also tried to pass off a .49 cent charge for fruit that we didn't order nor received. Check your receipt .... Or they just might sneak a few extra charges on you too! The female manager, who decided not to give me her name, was demeaning and belligerent. She told me not to come again if I didn't like there practices.
