Perfect lunch stop in Tuba City. The server, Megan, was friendly, the service was fast, and the food was good.

Single Cheeseburger

Over all it was good I have had breakfast and lunch there due to me staying in the hotel that is attached to Dennys. The service was good and quick. The breakfast was really good and the burger was really good as well. There isn't much in Tuba city and you can't go wrong with Dennys. I didn't have to wait long. The establishment was clean and well kept. Everyone that works there is super nice.

This Denny's located on the Hopi side of Tuba City has a pueblo facade. The menu is standard Denny's without local flare. It is adjacent to the Moenkopi Inn and is one of the few sit down restaurants in town. Solid food in a nice building

Veggie egg white with hash browns

No frills spot. As with any Denny's location, you can guess what's coming to the table based off their standard menu offering plenty of pancake/waffle/omelette options for breakfast. On a sleepy Monday morning, the place was relatively quiet and the waiter worked hard to accommodate me. I ordered a veggie egg-white omelette stuffed with plenty of vegetables including zucchini (which wasn't a great addition), plus side of hash browns. The food tasted good although it was nothing to 'write home' about. This establishment was quite clean. The kitchen was working hard to fill orders and the waitressing staff worked efficiently to seat guests. Across the reservation, this place had the best wi-fi connection, too. Folks may complain about their wi-fi connection but GOOD LUCK trying to get better connection elsewhere on the indian reservation. I would consider coming back here again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE MEGAN! Do better or find a job at the MVD, maybe even the chapter house

If you can't handle all your tables I suggest handing some over to the other server. You should know that your tips reflect on how well the service is, do better.

Gouda Bacon Burger

Had the Gouda Bacon Burger at Dennys for dinner. It was very good and almost more than I could handle with two hands. Cooked the way I requested with a side of steamed brocolli. No complaints at all. Service was also very good. Place was clean. Try to avoid the rush particulary during the tourist season.

I'm not expert but I approach everything with unbiased expectations as much as possible. A quick Google search can provide high level insight even though it isn't necessarily consistent across all interactions or people. Initially I thought it was called Hogan because of a family last name but research suggested it is more about the Hogan traditional dwelling. Ambiance and decoration suggests that as well. Beautiful wood and earthy decor. Not overly bearing but rather great balance. People were kind but not overly attentive like I'm used to at American restaurants but again it is more aligned with communication styles and culture. Your experience could be different based on your server just like any other restaurant. Our server was kind, respectful and provided great service. He also would remember guests from different countries who shared sayings in their native languages which he repeated to us as greeting and also goodbyes. It was impressive and well thought which I appreciated. Now onto the food. I enjoyed my mutton stew with fry bread. I am used to more flavorful stews but this stew was cooked very well and delicious. I added a bit of salt and pepper but honestly it was good without it. Mutton was soft and not gamey. Vegetables were well cooked and soft. Fry bread was tasty and freshly fried. It was not overly greasy and excellent to rip and dip into the stew. I actually feel really good after my meal. Overall enjoyed it, again, because I was open and understanding of differences. No complaints about my experience. If you are stopping by for the first time, I hope you also have the same experience.

Very friendly staff and the food was good. If you're out this way stop in for a bite.read more

We asked for medium rare and ended up with well done and i mean over done. My daughter had the kids pancakes and bacon, probably the only decent thing at our table. I ordered the 2 eggs breakfast (scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast.) the scrambled eggs were over done & hard, i asked for the hashbrowns to be soft and they were over crispy just under burnt, and the only thing i got to eat was my toast. They brought a fresh plate of hashbrowns BUT there was a hair clearly cooked in to the hashbrowns. My husband went to use the restroom and it was in complete disarray, needed to be cleaned same with the woman's restroom. Both restrooms had awful smells like they truly need a deep clean. While the people were friendly they completely missed the mark. After going through all this, not being able to enjoy my meal, steak being too over cooked, hair in my meal, not one of them offered to give any discount or at the very least remove my meal that had hair in it which you could clearly see i only ate the toast. Very disappointed. I wish i had taken photos to share. I hope the owner or management sees this and contacts me.

Besides the retro vibe there are plenty of outer space items (thus the Galaxy name) and since it is a short drive from Lowell Observatory where Pluto was discovered and near the meteor crater where astronauts trained for their trip to the moon, the connection is awesome. We were seated right away and the wait staff was on a roll, serving the very busy crowd on a Saturday afternoon. I am always impressed that this place has OVER 100 flavors of milkshakes and malts. I had the open face turkey sandwich with gravy, mashed potatoes, and veg--I had them the hold the cranberry sauce since I am not a fan of that sauce. My friend had a huge plate of onion rings. The only down side was that the turkey breast was not the chunk of turkey I was expecting, just a few thin slices of deli turkey breast (like you would have in a sandwich) and the gravy was too salty. The parking is in the back of the restaurant. Fyi--the pavement between the car park and the front door is broken and uneven and was a challenge for my friend and her walker, so the mobility impaired may find it difficult to navigate.

They're were only 3 other tables besides us & yet the service slow. The you g lady waiting on us seemed quiet or tired or like she didn't want to be there. She didn't mention when she seated us that the waffle maker was broken or that certain items weren't available...until we tried to order them. When we got our food, literally all of it was cold. I ordered oatmeal which came as a large bowl w/ plastic to go containers of nuts, raisins, & brown sugar & a small container of milk. It tastes fine, but it was very off-putting to eat cold/almost hard oatmeal. My friend got 3 eggs, toast, & spuds which were like thinly sliced potatoes. He, also, said his food was cold & felt that (unlike my huge portion of cold oatmeal) the portion was small. I didn't bother taking pics. I didn't bother trying to send things back or speak to anyone in charge because it was such slow service to begin with. This place is cute inside. It has potential, but the food & service were a miss. Skip it.

It's nonstop work - from the early morning prep for gourmet breakfasts to the meticulous cleaning, thoughtful decorating, and personalized hosting that makes guests feel truly welcomed. It's exhausting, but when done right, it's magical. That's why we're so thrilled to share our experience at the Sheridan House Inn. This B&B doesn't just meet the high standards of the industry; it soars far above and beyond them. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident. The accommodations are among the best we've ever encountered - luxurious, spotlessly clean rooms with premium linens, comfortable beds that invite deep sleep, and thoughtful amenities that show the owners truly care about guest comfort. The Inn itself creates a warm, inviting environment that's relaxing yet elegant, the kind of atmosphere that's hard to achieve but makes all the difference. And the food? Outstanding. The breakfasts are gourmet masterpieces - fresh, creative, and delicious, prepared with obvious passion and skill. But what truly sets the Sheridan House apart and elevates it above and beyond any other B&B we've ever stayed are the exceptional dinners they offer. These are not your typical B&B fare; they're multi-course Michelin-style quality meals that are memorable, beautifully presented, and an absolute highlight of the stay. The location in the charming town of Williams is another huge plus. Williams is a great place to visit - from exploring the historic Route 66 vibe and gateway access to the Grand Canyon, to unique shops, railroads, wildlife parks, and hiking trails. The hosts go all out without making it feel forced - they're genuinely hospitable, anticipating needs and sharing local insights that enhance the stay. This level of dedication is rare and deserves recognition. Is it worth the money? Absolutely, and then some. In a world of cookie-cutter hotels and average B&Bs, the Sheridan House delivers great value through an unparalleled experience. If you're looking for the best bed-and-breakfast getaway - especially in the Southwest - it'd be hard, if not impossible, to beat this one. Highly recommended without reservation. Thank you to the wonderful owners, Debby & Mark, for keeping the spirit of true B&B hospitality alive and thriving.
