Convenient place to go to for breakfast, one of the limited options as we unfortunately don't have much for breakfast in Warrenton. They also serve lunch/dinner, breakfast all day, 24/7 (a rarity after Covid) and I've had great servers. A typical Denny's diner, but it's visually clean here. Some Denny's experiences in other towns they were messy or food would take forever, even one time we never got our order taken after waiting over an hour. It was a good sized group but still. Let's start with the server who I didn't catch her name so we'll just call her "Goofy". She was weird but nice. Talked way too much and you couldn't tell if she heard you or not when you ordered because she spoke over you. I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger came out as a double, so I took a burger off. The bun didn't seem to be fresh and the burger had no flavor. I ended up talking the wilted lettuce off and tossing it. The onion rings were good as was me tea. My wife was talked into the "fresh fruit" which was nothing like fresh. She doesn't like melons or bananas and 75% of it was melon and banana. Slimy bananas at that and the melon was hard as a rock. The grapes were soft and deflated and the strawberries had sometime on them that we couldn't identify. Since we were traveling and needed fuel we decided to eat here which is why we decided to eat here. The next time we are though here we may just fuel up and skip the meal. read more

The food was delicious. Cooked exactly as ordered. I've been to a lot of Denny's and the bar isn't really that high, but this was probably the best I've had. The place was pretty packed for 1pm on a Saturday. There were 2 cooks and pretty much 1 server for the whole place. Dashara, you absolutely killed it girl! You were running around that place taking care of business. I didn't even mind the wait because you were doing your best. I was very impressed with you. I really like Denny's but this place isn't for me. Don't get me wrong the food is great and the interior is good, but the service not so much. You see it takes a loooong time for our food to come out and when other people sit down, for some reason they get there food first when we've been waiting for a long time. one waitress forgot all about us, so our food was kinda cold. This was probably the worst experience I ever had at Denny's in my life. Stopped here with family, 13 , on the way to Osage Beach. The place maybe had 5 people in it when we walked in. We got there around 12:45 and were still waiting for our food at 2:31. The excuse we got was the computer went crazy when they entered our orders. One thing would come out at a time. Maybe two if we were lucky for a total of 5 items. Keep in mind that they were not complete meals either. We were just getting brought bits and pieces. Staff went over and over the orders to try to see what was missing. So at this point they came out and said they don't know where they are at with any of the orders and they have to start cooking them over again. The wait staff that we interacted with was very very nice and accommodating. The manager took over the kitchen to help expedite the orders the second go around we were told. 3:02 and we have finally gotten our food and completed eating it. The food was good when we finally got it. Gave this two stars because the staff was nice and the food was good. It just shouldn't have taken over two hours for lunch. This is one of the best Denny's we have found in our cross-country travels. Clean, friendly, relatively quick service, and well/prepared breakfast. our waitress never let my coffee cup get to empty! I was happy to see the gluten-free English muffin option, too, and was thinking maybe it would not be real tasty, but I was wrong! My husband even liked it. This was a less than great experience. We waited a while for a hostess, but she was very nice when she got up there. We were seated in a booth that was sticky, so she moved us to another table. We ordered some breakfast dishes. The omelet was pretty good. The fruit cup side was mostly melon, which I always hope isn't the case, but it usually is. I ordered dry toast, and it came out very greasy. My friend got pancakes, hashbrowns, and sausage patties. The pancakes were not bad for pancakes, the hashbrowns were mushy and soggy. Our waitress brought out new ones, which was nice. The sausage patties were gross. One of them had a weird string type thing in it, not gristle or anything, it was weird. Not impressed with the food. I visited this restaurant a few days ago and was not pleased with my experience. Keep in mind that our table was for four people and there was roughly 7-10 staff working and we were the only people there when we walked in. To start it took 15 minutes after being seated for our server to come to our table for the first time and take our drink order. It then took an additional 10 minutes to get our drinks. Upon the delivery of our waters the server left without asking for our order. During our time waiting we noticed that some employees were wearing masks while others handling the packaging of silverware were not. We also noticed that every person that was wearing a mask did not have it covering their nose. The employees obviously had no idea why they were supposed to wear masks and grasped no concept of how viruses spread. When we finally received our food after roughly 30 minutes (after the people that got seated after us) they got one of our orders wrong and it had to be remade. I recommend that management retrain their employees if they wish to stay open for the years to come. I hope the current management reads this review and changes their practices for the better. read more

This is one of the better Denny's we've been to. The food is always good and the staff is nice. My only real issue is that they keep the place so darn cold! In the winter, I eat with my coat on and in the summer I still eat with some kind of jacket. It's so cold sometimes that the food gets too cold to eat before you can finish the meal. This location has OK to horrible service, the food is good to horrible as well. It all depends on the waitress and the cook. Let's start out with the bad. We came in and were sat quickly our drink order was taken and the waitress said she would be right back to take our order. She brought our drinks and said she would be right back, she had to drop some food off that was up. Okay, that's cool. But then 2 more parties came in, she took their drink order, brought both their drinks and then took both of their food orders. We were peeved at this point because by this time it had been beyond 15 mins from the time she said she would be back. Then she finally came over and asked are you ready? Of course we were. So we ordered and then it got even worse. So of course they got their order, but then I got mine but my wife and kids hadn't go theirs. Why you ask? Because the waitress took an additional appetizer order from the table that sat after us. We were told the cook had to rush it out to them so our order was going to be a bit. Are you kidding me? I was done by the time my wife and kids got their order. They had a simple order too. Then the other bad experience was when I ordered a shake which comes with the extra tin. Well I got the shake but they didn't give me the extra in the tin. This has happened before as well. Then there was our recent visit where my wife ordered the bacon gouda burger and my daughter a plain cheese burger with nothing on it. Well they brought out a bacon avocado burger and a cheese burger with everything on it. We told the waitress it was wrong and she went to the cook and to fix the order. I kid you not, they went back and fourth who was at fault, her order being entered wrong or his self (the cook). Then instead of doing the right thing to fix the two screw ups, they removed the toppings on the cheeseburger and brought it back and on the bacon Gouda burger tool the avocado off and kept the cheddar on and added Gouda on top and served it. That was still incorrect because it is supposed to also have caramelized onions as well. It was a bit dirty this last visit, but not too bad. I no longer recommend this location and will choose to eat elsewhere for a while. Don't say I didn't warn you all! read more

I am not sure anyone really cares about someone's opinion about this place, but here is mine. My wife and I waited and watched servers walk by. We sat menus open and peering around, clearly giving the signal we were ready to at least give our drink order but nobody asked and the walking by us continued. After a server, served a table coffee and after coughing in the coffee as she walked by did she come to us and ask us for our drinks. I would say it's been about 15 minutes of peering around and talking to my wife. The server was short to the point and lacked any kind of happiness to be serving us and to be honest... I really don't care if the food is good. She and the others ruined this visit from the get go. I really wish I could say this was the first time and I really wish I could say I won't come back but neither would be accurate. Sigh... read more

We went in to eat dinner and upon arriving a manager told us to go ahead in the back and find a seat and then when the waitress came up to us she asked us if we needed a menu. We always get great service here! One thing I don't like about this Denny's Is how they make the club sandwich. The last 2 times I got it from here it had a couple slices of turkey, it was basically bread! Other then that I love this place. Denny's recently closed for a few weeks for renovations. I have been coming to Denny's along with my former wife for many years. Half of the building was for non-smokers, and the other half was for smokers. With the new renovations, Denny's has decided to buckle under to all the pressures from anti-smokers, and made Denny's now a no smoking facility. We normally spend about $250.00 or so each month. That money will now be spent somewhere else. Would like to think Denny's will go out of business, but I doubt if that will happen.. read more
