I'm sure Denny's is Denny's wherever you go. I didn't realize that this location existed (as I don't got to the part of town as much as I used to. This is where Burger King used to be, on the other side of I-26 from Lexington Medical Center. Me and my parents just had dinner here tonight. Got waited on fairly quickly (but it was 5:30-ish to 5:45-ish on a Sunday evening and we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves - even though business was picking up as we were about ready to leave). My mom had pointed out Denny's might be busier for the breakfast hours (even though you can get breakfast all day) and I was also thinking this could be a place to hangout after high school football games, Anyways, I was thinking I would get a grilled chicken entree for dinner before we arrived (it's been a long while since I've eaten at Denny's). Looking at the menu, the only grilled chicken option is on the 55+ menu, and I'm ways off for being in the 55+ menu. The only grilled chicken option for the under 55 crowd is a grilled chicken sandwich (which I wouldn't mind, but didn't want all the bread on the sandwich and potiential French Fries as a side option). Sure it's not the location fault, it's probably something that comes down for corporate. Anyways, when our waitress came out to take our order, I had asked if there was a non-senior grilled chicken option, and there was not. She was able to work with the manager and was able to do the the grilled chicken dinner (otherwise we would have to do the dinner a la carte). Also. If you're driving from Lexington / Lexington Medical Center, you would have to drive past Denny's, past Waffle House, and make a make a left at the light past Waffle House and enter from behind (as there is a median in the middle of Sunset Blvd. read more

Of the many Denny's I've been to from South Carolina to Arizona, this one is pretty great. The restaurant is clean, bright and inviting, the service was prompt and friendly, and our breakfast was cooked perfectly, served hot and the "sizzling" skillet my husband ordered was actually sizzling! I love the location too since it was in walking distance from our hotel, the Holiday in Express. When we visit Colombia once again this will most likely be our breakfast spot each time. read more

I really enjoy this place. I can't remember the last time I have ever been to a Denny's, or if I have even been to one at all. I was very impressed with the food, the staff, and the cleanliness of the place. The food tasted really great I ordered a half nachos for an appetizer along with the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and my fiancé ordered an omelette. It was all really delicious. My food was great, my wifes food was not. She got sauteed squash and it tasted like it was boiled in meat oil. Wife said no gravy on mashed potatoes and they brought it out with gravy and said they were making her some fresh mashed potatoes without gravy so she had teonorders of potatoes and the fresh one was cold. When we arrived there were a couple in front of us waiting to pay. However there was no one in the front area. The couple ringed a bell they have on the counter twice and then one employee showed up. She asked if we were waiting to be seated. The couple mentioned that we were but they were just waiting to pay. The employee got 4 menus and asked us to follow her. I ordered one build your own slam with a drink and a burger with a side of hashbrowns and one extra side of sausage and a Coke. I did not even receive the sausage nor the toast or eggs on the build your own slim burger, I also received my food under cooked and the amount I spent was $34.15, which is absolutely ridiculous for the quality of food and the amount I received. And they also gave us five packets of jam when they forgot all of the toast. $34.15!!! I recommend people to stay away from this specific location. Also waited 35 minutes. Terrible. read more

I came for late night dinner and had one awesome waitress. Her name is Bonnie and she's absolutely amazing. She's extremely outgoing and very courteous. I sure hope she's here next time I visit. Messed up my order and when i called the lady put me on hold and left me there I held for 15 mins before hanging tried calling back for hours line busy from me being left on hold. For starters the waitress was nice but the manager in the back was horrible she does not pay attention to order tickets at all. They gave my brother pork bacon when we specifically asked for a turkey bacon(due to the fact that my brother is allergic). Then they completely forgot an order till we mentioned it. I would stay away from this Denny's. There is no excuse for being served a burger with expired beef. Very noticeable after taste and odor coming from the patty itself. I give it one star because of our waitress who promptly and delicately handled the situation. Although, when brought up to the manager at the cash register we were told " I'm sorry you didn't like it". No body likes expired meat, ma'am. If you could leave zero stars I would! This was literally the worst restaurant experience I have ever had! We waited an hour and a half after we ordered to get our food and it wasn't even busy. Then my food was burnt, another order had items that were asked to be left off and my 2 year old didn't even get his food and they forgot to cook it. When I asked for a manager, she took 15% off the bill for the inconvenience. Three out of 7 didn't even eat at all and with a wait like that, there really shouldn't be a bill. read more

Prob some of the worst service I've ever had. My husband & I came in on 3/17/2018 @ 7pm for dinner. Server (I don't know her name, should have gotten it. Some girl with long dark hair, looked to be native American idk) took forever getting to the table, then when she finally showed up she said "What do you want to drink." Very curt & unwelcoming. I ordered a pnut butter banana milkshake, & my husband ordered a Coke. Milkshake took almost as long as the food to come out, & it was made wrong. She brought me a choc pnut butter milkshake. Asked her for a remake & she brought out another choc pnut butter - no banana. Only brought us out 1 refill & it was after we had to ask the manager to come to the table. Manager didn't seem to really care about the piss poor service either. I ordered the $4 pancakes/eggs/bacon & $2 stack of pancakes. My $2 stack never came out & when I asked her about it she said "oh" & went to ring it in after I had already finished half my meal. My husband ordered a sampler with chicken & moss sticks... 2 items. She rang in mozz sticks & tater tots... So she screwed up every part of our meal, & we not once received an apology from either the server, or manager on duty. Wow. Extremely unprofessional. Will not be back. read more

Obviously there is a management issue. Took five minutes before anyone greeted us. Greeted and seated by the cook who was filthy. Food is good. Our order was wrong. It's not often you're overly impressed with all the staff, but here I was. Not only was our waitress, Wanda, incredibly attentive and on top of things for our large group of 8. Every server and even the manager went above and beyond servicing tables, I watched a waitress bring a stuffed animal to an anxious child. The food was perfect, not greasy, fresh and with great presentation. Everyone was impressed by the coffee too. I wish I lived in the area so I could visit more frequently. read more
