If you love strudels, this is the place to be. Both savory & sweet strudels and everything in between. Having the apple strudel brought me back to Austria/Germany. Their spanokopita is a nice twist on the Greek classic. Even the French Onion soup was great. Definitely recommend for brunch, lunch or just a quick coffee & pastry break.

    Perfectly done creme Brulee. Bravo!

Chef Kevin's Strudel Shop creations is sorely missed from its original home in Charlotte. Chef Kevin's considerable prior culinary experience includes apprenticing for over 10+years to great chefs. He has cooked under the tutelage of 3 White House chefs, the Carolina Panthers,Teemu Selanne, Thomas Keller's soux chef in California. Chef Kevin has cooked for 3 different Michelin star chefs with one being above Gordon Ramsay at one point. His creations punch so high above their weight class that they manage to delight our tongues every visit. Highly recommend you visit and have a taste of whatever he's making to delight your senses.

I heard good things about this place and finally today I decided to try it. I am so glad I did the food and the atmosphere was awesome. I could see that everything was made fresh. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. I recommend getting the buffet.

Today was my first time here and I can't believe I've been missing out, their strudels are SO GOOD! We sat down and started with an Apple strudel & a berries strudel.. it was crunchy, not too sweet and FRESH out the oven. It was so good we ended up getting a pizza strudel to go. The owner, Mr. Kelly, is a very charismatic fellow. He makes conversation and suggested different things on his menu. The customer service is top notch for sure. The inside is very warming and it's decorated with colorful art. I'll definitely be back

Delicious homemade strudel. We had the breakfast strudels. Tasted great. Wonderful service. This place is a little off the main road and well worth the side trip!

The sugar cookie is soft and chewy with the tart icing that balances everything out. The Hummingbird Bar is unique with a buttery base and delicious, chewy topping. I ended up getting a few things, a pecan chewie, which was so delicious. The flavor was great and the texture was perfect and soft. I also got a white cake which was made with an apple jelly as opposed to sugar and honestly I had no idea what to expect. Took a bite and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The cake was moist but not soggy and was sweet but not too sweet. So good. Lastly I got a strawberry cupcake but unfortunately after the other 2 I could not take a bite of anything else. By the time I got to the cupcake it had hardened after sitting for so long and was not really edible. This was obviously not the fault of the baker so I just act as if I didn't get that one. I would really recommend GG's for dessert, it has some great choices and the people are great, and that for me is always a plus.
