Love the work, love the price! I live in the mountains and recently I was side swiped by a taxi driver who crossed double yellow lines to pass my on my left as I was making a left turn. Luckily no one was hurt but he left a long, wide scratch on my driver's side door. Dent doctor did such an excellent job matching the paint on my car that you can't even tell there's been work done. And the price was half of what I was quoted from another repair shop that was closer to me. I'm surprise they have the ratings that they do. My car was taken here because of the dealer. There was a small imperfection in the paint about the size of a bb. That turned into a nightmare. My brand new car came back needing the entire door to be repainted because the work that was done was so bad. Then they scratched my window, and trims were scratched and dented all over when they re-installed them. My vehicle sustained about $2500 worth of damages from a tiny imperfection they were suppose to fix. Unbelievable. Will never take any vehicles here even if they were willing to fix it for free. read more

The owner argued with an employee in front of everyone. While they removed the dent, the touch up was hideous. When asked if I was satisfied I said absolutely not. I asked how they could let this horrible workmanship leave. She came up with excuses and didn't get the owner, even though he was 20 feet away and heard me say I wasn't satisfied. I brought my G35 to this Dent Doctor (white haired guy) for a few door dings and a deeply scratched rear bumper from a little kid on a bike crashing into it while parked. I gave a thorough, clear and detailed description of exactly what I wanted fixed over about 15 minutes. My previous experiences over the years with other area body shops include having an S4 repaired after it was bumped into (again, while parked) as well as my old R32's front bumper fixed due to a maniac shopping cart. The most generous description of the service provided by Dent Doctor would be BUSH LEAGUE. Don't waste your money on terrible work, here's a quick summary... 1. Quoted one price to fix/paint all, called back 2 days later telling me it would be about $400 more to "really" do it right - they had the car already, I was already sick of bumming rides so I reluctantly agreed and what the eff is up with "really do it right?" 2. Timeframe given was 4 days (dropped off on a Monday), called on day of pick up (Fri) to confirm readiness and was told paint wasn't done, to check back mid-next week. so call back that next week (Wed) and he basically says late Friday, hopefully. 3. Amazingly, it's ready late Friday (like 530PM), guy from the back brings it around and it's filthy. Not just dirty, but still has bits of tape, dust and other crap on it, driver seat has white sh*t all over it and there's fresh greasy footprints on the floor mat. White haired guy is rushing to close up and get me out of there and I notice that the back bumper now also has a slight painted over dent in it where the scratches were. He proceeds to tell me that it was dented the whole time (it was scratched deeply yes, dented not at all) and that he would've needed $1000 more to fix that instead of paint over it. He says he tried to stuff the bumper with paper to push the dent out...translation, dude operating the buffer pushed so hard on the bumper that he put a dent in it. He won't budge and I won't leave the car with him anymore, so to BBB I went. 4. Getting the car detailed about 2 weeks later and my very experienced detail guy comes in and tells me the rear underside of the car has paint and bondo and all sorts of crap, said it's a complete mess under the car. Not quite a 'quick' summary but if you have a nice vehicle that needs a little bit of cosmetic work, I'd go elsewhere and save yourself a headache. read more

Walked in for an estimate on a long ugly scratch on my new car. Mike graciously checked it out and 20 minutes later, and at a 1/3 less than what two other places wanted it looks great!! Highly recommend. He was sure to say they wouldn't be able to get it 100% out, but he recommended buffing rather than painting (other places wanted to paint at a tune of $900). read more

I was hit in a parking lot and had some scratches of paint from the other car. I was told to take it to a place my insurance company recommended to get an estimate. I have a $500 deductible so they gave me an estimate of $662.00 which, of course, I would have to pay the $500! I told them I would have to think about it. I then brought my car to Dent Doctor and they said the scratches were not that deep and they could fix it for only $40.00!! I couldn't believe it. After one visit and more than one phone call over the course of 3 weeks I was finally able to schedule an appointment to have a small dent repaired in my BMW X3. I live about 35 miles away from the shop and when I arrived I was told by Damian (quite matter of factly) that the "doctor" was not in today so it would not be possible to repair my vehicle at that time. He indicated that he had known this since early that morning but still did not bother to call me prior to my 12 noon appointment. He offered no apology and really seemed quite unconcerned and clueless. I really have no tolerance for such rude and thoughtless behavior. Apparently the "doctor" is very seldom at the shop since he is focused on building a vacation home many miles away. He only checks in periodically and on an unpredictable schedule. I would never again attempt to do business with these discourteous, unprofessional individuals especially since there is a DentPro in the area which comes highly recommended. I will be taking my business there and encourage all to do the same. read more

This is the best shop in Reno to get your dents and dings fixed, IMO. Mike can do it or no-one can, and if he can't do it, he'll be upfront about it. I would trust Mike implicitly. Integrity! p.s. I should have checked online before going here. They had some complaints with the Better Business Bureau. They had my car for almost a month and they still could not get it right. It wasn't a huge job so I am not sure why the paint looks like it was sprayed with spray paint. I took the car back to them but it just seemed to get worse and worse and I feel like they didn't care as they always seemed like they weren't listening. Please don't take your car here or you will regret it like I do and now I get all upset everytime I look at my car and I want to sell it. Anyone interested? lol read more

I had a 6-8 inch dent on the passenger front bumper of my Lexus LS460 from getting too close to a a high sidewalk at Meadowood Mall. The dealership quoted me over $1,000 to fix. I went there at 3:45 pm on a Wednesday. He quotes me $50 and I'm out the door in less than an hour! These guys are what Reno businesses should be. I would recommend to all I know. My son lives in Reno, I live in Vegas. Went looking for quotes to get the drivers side doors fixed after he was T-boned by an uninsured motorist. Damien was so kind and so honest. I felt that from the start. His quotes were less than any of the other 3 garages I went to. I found the doors, myself, even cheaper at a junkyard, and he allowed me to have them delivered to the garage, where he housed them until he fixed the car. Not a penny over his quoted cost. I had an excellent experience here this morning. Mike went over the labor estimate with me and the time/labor was in line with another quote that I had gotten. I went with Dent Doctor because the dealership had recommended them. The person doing the work figured out a much simpler and quicker way to do the job (replacing the 7 grille inserts on a Grand Cherokee) so Mike adjusted the invoice to reflect the reduced labor which saved me money. Totally screwed me over. Terrible paint job: drips, bad coverage. When I asked him to fix it he wouldn't. The owner Mike cannot be trusted, the price was higher than he quoted when I went to pick it up. Play it safe and take your business somewhere else. read more

This is without a doubt the worst body shop in Reno; if you are even considering taking your car to The Dent Doctor think twice. They repaired some damage on the front of my 2012 Mercedes but they didn't know how to put it back together...they forgot to install the "transformer" on each of the headlights, fortunately I checked them before we left on our vacation; Mike repaired this after I went home to get the parts off the headlights they removed. They left swirl marks on the top; Mike insisted that they didn't do that but finally buffed them out. Then I noticed that the bezel was not on the daytime running lights; I talked to Mike on the phone and he said to bring it in and they would take care of it....when I got there Mike wasn't there and his employee said to bring it in Monday morning because the repair would take several hours since they had to remove the front bumper. I took it in this morning. When Mike found out why I was there he immediately became defensive; when he ask how I was going to pay for this we both became rude and belligerent; THIS WAS HIS HIS ERROR, why should I pay him again. After a lot of shouting I left totally unsatisfied. Now it is up to me to have this repair done at a reputable repair facility. The girls out front make everything sound great but if you have to deal with the owner, Mike, forget it. He and his staff are incompetent and unwilling to take care of their mistakes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, they are not a 5 star facility as Yelp shows...they are below a 1. I also ask Mike for the old parts he was removing from my car; he wasn't happy about this because he sells them. I got mine back and they sold for almost $2,000., also if I hadn't gotten them back I would have had to buy about $600 in new parts; the; transformers" and the bezels. read more
