Great place to get minor dings and dangs in the sheet metal of your vehicle repaired. It's a lot cheaper and turns out just as well, if not better, than a bump shop would do by bumping and painting the whole section. He is a miracle worker. He took out 2 dents in 45 minutes, while I waited. He even buffed out the scratches! I asked him about what to use to buff out my car, because he slides that as well, and he gave me a lot of great advice and where to buy my supplies. He is an early riser, and did my car at 6:00 am and was done by 6:45. His price was the cheapest of 3 places I got quotes from, including Emergency Dent Service and Dent Genius. If you are on the west side. EDS gets 5 star reviews as well, and seems more than capable. They were removing hail damage for a new dealer Lincoln when I went there. Took our car here after a local body shop recommended. The owner is very rude. They failed to fix two dents on the roof (fallen tree debris from a storm). We got our car back with clear coat scratches around the two still existing dents. He was nice enough to not charge me. Later once in the sun, we realized the scratches. Car people... please read. My review is very situational. The sitiation: I brought my mustang here to get fixed. Low speed impact in the rear causing cosmetic damage to the bumper and snapping it back in place. One 2.5 inch by 2 inch dent that was in the crease of a body line in the front side wheel fender. The dealership quoted $700 just for the dent on the fender. The results: The bumper was fixed. Body gaps and paint look like nothing ever happened. The dent in the crease was fixed for $65. I can tell work has been done because when the light hits that area, the reflextion is different than other areas. If you are close to the area and focus on it, you can tell it has been worked. Many people don't notice it, but I do. But for $65, expectations were exceeded. My car was done in less time than the quote to finish. Summary: For the price, this place more than delivers. If you have critical eye, there are some repairs that you would bring here and maybe some you wouldn't. read more

Doug is unreliable and sadly ageist. I went in back in JANUARY for a quote on my Ford Escape. He gave me a great price, and said that if we could find some parts that he needed, he would lower it even further! This sounded great! I went out and found a few possible parts, but not all. I gave Doug a call telling him that I found a few parts in late January, and that we just needed a few more. He said he would look for the rest of the parts, and call us when ready. Soon, it was April, and I had not heard from this man. I went back to his office in April (3.5 months after we got the quote) to ask how things were coming along. He laughed when he saw me and said "really? You're back?" . I believe that Doug never wanted to do business with me in the first place, because of my appearance and age. He literally asked me "did you win the lottery?" As if asking how I was going to pay for this! He probably thought that I was unreliable and some 'bad' teen who wouldn't pay him. Not to mention.... the communication is HORRIBLE! And his dry sense of humor? It's not humor, it's just how he views you! I say without exaggeration: I couldn't possibly recommend any business higher. The quality of work was superior, and the cost was jaw droppingly low. I had at least 2 dozen dents, dings and scrapes the length of both sides of my Outback accumulated over the course of several years. Most were the result of parking lot damage from other cars or shopping carts, or of my misjudging my garage door like an idiot (I'm not proud). The damage was very noticeable, especially to me, and really bugged me for a while. I stopped for an estimate. Although it was extremely busy, it only took a few minutes during which some the scrapes were actually rubbed out before any business had been transacted. I scheduled an appointment within a week. Dropped my car in the morning and it was done before lunch. My car looks like new. When I was given the final price, I had to ask if it was correct because I really didn't think I was being charged enough. Took my outback there to get what appeared to be minor damage to the rear bumper. I told him the blind spot alert wasn't working knowing the sensor under the bumper was misaligned. The bumper was replaced and appeared flawless but when I checked before leaving the blind spot alert was still not working. He said he was too busy and i decided to take it to the dealer. After working on it the dealer removed the new number and found structural damage hidden beneath the new bumper. If the blind spot wasnt working I never would have known. What started as a reasonable 975 dollar repair turned into 4000 dollars. I ended up turning it into an insurance claim, but knowing the damage was masked and I was driving an unsafe car sure doesn't make me happy. read more

It literally took Doug 1 hour and he charged me $75 completely removing the dent. It's a leased car so I didn't want to have to pay when I turned the car in. DOUG, the OWNER, was extremely unpleasant to deal with and left me with the most vile taste in my mouth. Not only did he seem to get angry when I said I needed to call my father (it was his vehicle) to confirm some things, and was astonished I said I wanted to get another opinion and might take it over to a different shop. He talked down to me, made me feel uncomfortable, and essentially, tried to take advantage of me because I came in as a young girl. If I would have come in with my father or even my boyfriend, Doug would not have acted the way he did, I can promise you that. I am appalled ANYONE would give this "establishment" their money, time, or energy. Doug, if you are reading this - Please seek help. I will start with the ending - Doug did what he said he would do, for the amount quoted and within the time he committed to. The rest - I had left the hatch up on my wife's Equinox and had the garage door close. The results were a scratched-up hatch and an unhappy wife. I took the vehicle to Doug who got to me quickly, giving me his quote and telling me what he'd do. He said he needed the vehicle for 2 to 3 days, and I could drop it off the following Monday. While I wasn't sure the price was competitive, the fact he had two repeat customers in his shop, both of whom spoke highly of his work convinced me to just go for it. The end result is my wife is happy with the job, I'm out of the doghouse, and I'll go see Doug again if I need work done. read more

If you're into verbal abuse and being treated like you suck - this is the place. Doug is beyond rude. Rude would have been a welcomed behavior. As for his work? It "wears off". If you're turning it in right away it might pass lease turn in inspection. I think people take his crap because 1) he's a big guy 2) they have issues around abuse and think they deserve his abuse. It's almost surreal - like "really this guy is talking to me like this?" I went back to have him look at some work he did (he wouldn't even look at it) and he admitted it "wears off". Just wax it he said, "I don't have time today", as he turned his back and walked inside his building. One of the things he fixed still looks good but that was a bumper he sent out to another bump shop to have fixed. You'll find people defending his behavior in reviews but those are the same people that would defend their child abuser. It may seem a strange thing to say but for those that experienced abuse as children they'll know exactly what I mean. Forget this guy is what I think. People shouldn't treat people like this. and to be clear I had originally google reviewed him fairly well, in essence defending him as I looked for the good.
