I…read moreread all the reviews for shops in the area near my workplace and decided that Berkley Collision looked like the best bet. I took in the estimate that the insurance company gave me. Dave came out and and looked at the damage. He tried very hard to give me an estimate that was less than the insurance company's, and he was dismayed that it was only $50 less. But, as he explained, since it's a new car, he didn't want to skimp on parts, and I agreed. When I originally asked how long it would take for the repair, he told me it would be about 3 days, once the parts came in. That was perfect, as it was at a time when I was leaving town & wouldn't need it anyhow. When I took it in on a Thursday morning, Dave at first said that it would now be a week, but while we were on our way home, he called at around 4:15 on Monday afternoon to say it was done. I was so pleased to see that the car looked brand new again -- no more crumpled tire rim or front area. And I believe they cleaned the inside of the car as well, as it smelled fresh and some of the papers I had were in a different place. Add me to the list of people who say that Berkley Collision does good work. I hope I never need their services again, but I will certainly recommend them!

Had some initial discussion through their website and email with Jamall. Then I just walk in, told him what model and color I want, confirm the price and discount. Paid a $500 deposit, 6 month later I picked up my truck. Before I picked up, 80% of the work can be done through email exchanges. I think Sales prefer it that way too. I only had to be in the dealership for about 1 hour to pick up my truck, just to sign a lot paperwork and verify everything. Only down side is, Ford right now only offer 5.5% for 48month even with good credit unless you are buying something no one wants like a Mach-E . I can't comments on service/repair yet. The oil has been overdue for several months now. Don't want any further issues or any for that matter. Maria informed me that they are about two weeks out on getting appointments for an oil change. I had a schedule for two weeks out at 11 AM on a Friday. I parked my car when I arrived in a lot adjacent to the service area. The woman at the front desk told me to pull in the service garage. Guess they don't do that here. There is a cool Shelby for sale for $165k. It looks amazing. Iris waited on me at the first desk. $72 is quite reasonable for an oil change, tire rotation and break check. Takes about an hour and a half. At the lounge before 11AM. I am number 82, will call me on the monitor when I am done. They even sent me a text message in case I need to communicate back to the service department at all. They are closed at 1PM due to the Woodward dream cruise today. My car was done in less than 40 minutes. Not too bad. Service was good from beginning to end. Payment was easy as well at the cashier.

I had to wait around a month and my car still wasn't fully repaired. Parts were missing but they told me they would just call and pop the pieces on when they recieve them. I picked up my car since I was spending money on Lyft. I followed up for MONTHS. The guy answering the phone would happily say my parts didn't haven't come in yet and I never recieved a call back. They confirmed it can drive but I noticed they skimped on replacing parts. They mixed and match old pieces of my car with new pieces and had a shoddy paint job. My car insurance gave me the checks to give to them and they took the money and ran. Oh yeah, my rims have a specfic plating/paint job on them and I asked for the one side of my car that recieved the repairs match the othe side of my car. They said no. They stated along the lines of the paint job/plating for the rims was beneath them because it was "cheap". My original rims have a sleek black finish and they decided to put thos gray cruddy paint on it, oh yeah and it's chipping after years later. Meanwhile my other side, which was painted prior, is still in great condition. A waste of time and money.

They also cast negative aspersions on the collison shop I decided to go with. Very unprofessional! I would not recommend going to this shop.

However, I was drawn to Custom Concept because they cut out the rust and weld in new metal. I was especially pleased with the pride that they take in their work and their honesty. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but they went above and beyond by fixing other things that I never expected, such as some rusted fasteners and a bad brake light. Upon the recommendation of my boss who had just had her car there the day before, I spoke to Eugene & took my car over. The very first thing that I was impressed with was his immediate attention. He looked at the car and then offered his condolences -- along with assurances that he could repair it & would work with the insurance company. He apologized that someone else had his loaner car, but he immediately took me to get a rental car. (I had not asked him to do this.) The first place didn't have anything appropriate available, so he took me to another place. He also asked questions that I hadn't thought of, and he waited while I called the insurance company to make sure that they would reimburse me. The repair itself took a lot longer than I'd anticipated; I would assume it was because of all the parts that were needed. It also took the insurance company several days to go out and assess the damage. In the end, though, they did a wonderful job. My car looks brand new, just as it did when I first bought it. I believe they also cleaned the inside, as it looked shiny clean. My only real complaint is that I wasn't really kept informed during the process, but Eugene did respond immediately when I texted him.

I have used Bojax twice; first, to repair left front fender rust. Looked great. Perfect paint…read morematch. But within a year the bubble of rust started again. I ignored it for another year and returned. Wanted the fender replaced this time and was told one should never repair rust, it always comes thru again. Well, why did they repair it the first time and not recommend replacement? Who knows. Anyway, the second time it was replaced but the paint does not match as perfectly as the first time. Rather disturbing since the cost to match/procure red is why they said this was a costly repair. Now I have to go thru the hassle of returning between 12 and 4 p.m. M-F, to inquire about it, seeing what they will do and then being without the car again for a few days.
