I highly recommend Dental Brothers of Phoenix! I was referred by a coworker. The ladies at the front desk are extremely nice. This is my 3rd visit (once for preventative care and twice for emergencies) and each time has been pleasant. I'm always greeted with a smile and feel welcomed. Dr. Tal always takes time to explain what's going on in terms that I understand. Lisa, the hygienist is phenomenal. I love having my teeth cleaned by her! Lisa has gentle hands and makes the flossing portion bearable. Flossing is my least favorite part of the cleaning. This visit Ashley assisted in putting my crown back on. Ashley was equally as sweet as everyone else in the office. The only disappointment this visit was that I was taken care of so quickly that I didn't get to see the ending of HGTV's "Fixer Upper"! I wanted my braces off and a dental cleaning at the same appointment so I paid the amount to take off my braces plus the amount for the cleaning and an additional fee for fluoride treatment. They took longer to get my braces off and get me fitted for retainers so I was unable to do the dental cleaning. They stated that when I come in for a deep cleaning they'd apply the amount I paid for the dental cleaning to the overall amount of the deep cleaning. I was unable to go back to get my dental cleaning so when I asked for my money back they stated that the $75 fee I paid for dental cleaning is unable to be refunded due to now that "applying to the x-rays". All they refunded me was the $20 fluoride treatment. This was not explained to me when I paid for the dental cleaning. So beware they might steal your money by adding extra stuff that was not previously explained. Never going back again, especially after Selena hanging up on me. read more

I am so impressed with the atmosphere and courteous employees at Dental Brothers! I am a two time cancer survivor, and I've spend 30 years going through the doors of many doctors offices and hospitals. I always have an element of anxiety going to a new place, because I'm unsure of the care I'll receive. My first visit here the receptionist was kind, offered me water, and I waited in a comfortable waiting area. They have a TV in there, but the volume is not on, and it was just the show Friends (not some drama talk show, like in some other offices). I don't care for TVs in doctors offices when they have the volume up, and it's something tense, or negative news. I was given a mini tour of the place, and it was exceptionally clean, which eased my mind. The dental hygienist was sweet, gentle, and professional. There was a TV on the ceiling where I had my teeth cleaned. It had Moving Art from Netlix playing. It was flowers opening into bloom. It was so relaxing watching it, that I felt like I was in a spa! Seriously, I was so comfortable and relaxed. Then I saw Dr Dan Gafni. He was very pleasant as well. I told him how impressed I was with my experience there from start to finish. I had questions about my teeth, gums, services, etc., and he definitely did not push to do anything that was not necessary. I highly recommend Dental Brothers. Awesome experience! Everyone was friendly! Cozy interior. Julie was my sweet hygienist and she was very thorough with my the cleaning. She was so patient with me, bless her heart! I was totally transparent with the office as to my dental anxiety ( which after bad experiences is off the charts) The hygenist was nice, but got nasty when she was doing measurements on possible pockets, it hurt me . She wanted to do a deep cleaning and kept insisting she could do it when i was numb. I was getting more and more anxiety ridden as the appointment progressed. Then she said she would refuse to send me to the person who made dentures ,which I need .The Dentist came in and put me at ease and I was confident I was in the right place at that point. I was assured I would get 2 estimates on pricing .We discussed what was needed( i knew it would be alot and needed time) and I told the hygenist I would wait for the estimate. She told me to come back later that day. I could not as I was scheduled to work. Come back tomorrow she said , I work cant be done. Then she sent me to the front desk where the office manager said " She didnt have time" I responded " so you dont have time for your customers?" She would send me an email . The email I received from her said I was not kind to her or the hygenist and she was refusing to take me in as a patient.If you dont undertsand that people come to this practice for dental anxiety then you need to get a basic understanding of what dental anxiety is and how it exasberates when you get no answers, or hold it over your head that something you need badly ( dentures) is threatened to be withheld. The real problem here is transparency.They refused to tell me what I owed for that day, No they didnt give me any invoicing for estimates and when an office staff whos job is to do the estimates says I dont have time, sure people are going to be upset plus the fact she rolled her eyes at me indicates bad customer service. I wil never go back to this place no matter how good the dentist is or how he was able to put me at ease. If I ask for a bill or estimate it should not be a secret. They could have charged me anything and I wouldnt know it. Im disapointed but lesson learned.The billing and estimate process was like walking into a car dealer and them selling you a car but not giving you the price, take it or leave it we will tell you later.I truly believe they looked at my dental insurance, and knew I would need time to get a loan or establish credit with the office and didnt want to deal with me. read more

6/4/2020 I booked my brother an appointment with dental brothers of phoenix based by a location near me search. The facility is walking distance from my brothers home. My brother is very picky, the office was really friendly over the phone. Once my brother left the office he was overwhelmed on how respectful and kind the staff treated him. Best dentist i've ever been to, I am the poster child for dental/appointment anxiety and they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and cared for. Recently got immense amounts of dental work/surgery and plenty more to go, but i'm no longer scared the way i was before. Although dental work even in general is expensive, i'm willing to pay whatever to stay at this office. Would be amazing if they offered payment plans but they do at least offer care credit. I am so glad I found this dental office! They are amazing. I personally love going to the dentist but I find every trip with them is so rewarding. I got my wisdom teeth pulled and got a follow up call from Dr. Timm himself to make sure I was doing okay and felt good. No pain at all! The office is beautiful & the front reception girls are so kind. I was expecting a manipulative sales pitch on unnecessary dental work considering I took advantage of their $25.00 new patient cleaning and x-ray. Not so. I had the most thorough exam and cleaning I have ever experienced. Beverly, the dental hygienist, is fantastic! The dentist (Dr. Tim C.) came out and introduced himself before I even got started. I saved so much money that I opted to fit in the $99.00 teeth whitening special. I was even able to add on an inexpensive oral cancer screening and fluoride treatment. I was very nervous about going to the dentist, it had been many years since I went & noone ever looks forward to the dentist. It was Sunday late night when I filled out at all the new patient forms online, which is a plus for me. The more I can do online the better. The office called Monday morning & scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. I arrived for my appointment & was called back within minutes. The girl who did the X-rays & cleaning was super nice, gentle, & non judgemental. The dentist was great as well. He made sure I knew all my options & explained each one in detail stating the pros/cons to each. The facilities are clean, the dental assistants are very personable and they make you feel at home. Teeth cleanings are never fun, but they certainly do everything to make you feel otherwise. The front desk staff is always nice, and minimal to no waiting time. Now the most important part, the dentists: they are fantastic, thorough, and explain things as they go along. They don't try to alarm you into getting certain things done like other doctors do, instead, they say they will monitor progress to see if there's any change. Great place to go if you are in need of a dentist. They actually take the time to inspect your teeth and explain what they find before directing to additional work if needed. Waiting room is relaxing, staff is friendly. Exam rooms are clean, relaxing, and private. They use technology as a tool to better provide services from x-rays to voice recording, to digital pictures so you can actually see what they see. I went to this practice for a second opinion re: an implant proposed by my periodontist. I was warmly greeted and almost immediately given a "here's who we are" tour of the practice. Tandy, my guide, was cheerful and positive. She left no doubt that she and all staff are committed to delivering excellent dental services in a relaxed and patient-centered atmosphere. I met with Dr. Dan Gafni who reviewed the x-rays that Tandy'd taken. He still had questions, so asked for a CT scan. He then reviewed that data and gave me a complete and informative explanation of what he saw as significant issues that might be problematic for the implant procedure. As such, he opted out stating that my primary periodontist was certainly more familiar with my case and thus, best suited to do the implant surgery. However what I realized as Dr. Dan finished was that my primary hadn't explained anything specific at all. Hadn't looked at more than x-rays when he proposed an extensive and expensive bit of work. Long and short of it - I now have an appointment with that periodontist so I can ask the questions that Dr. Dan made me aware of. Thank you Dental Brothers!!!!!! read more

I understand that you are new owners to the practice, but I don't believe that customer service should be a weakness for you, it should be a strength. As someone who has extensive experience in training customer service and administrative staff; I can honestly say that only one person showed me great kindness in all the interactions I had with your office. I wish I could remember that person's name; but unfortunately, in business it is always the bad that stays in ones memory longer. Considering the amount of staff you have in your office, the fact that only one person made an impression as kind and respectful speaks for itself. I do appreciate your looking into my billing concerns, you are correct in the amount of the billing it was not over $400, it was closer to $260, I apologize for that, I was looking at the wrong paperwork. However, I have contacted my insurance company and they will be in touch with your office by the end of the week. As for the new patient policy special, I failed to see the fine print on the window of the office, I thought I was going to my regular dentist and didn't realize that it was a one time deal. My mistake. Going forward, I wish you and your business well and hope that the customer service in your financial department is addressed. The administrator of that department is very particular about who she thinks deserves a respectful attitude and that is truly unfortunate. Disgusting behavior. I booked an appointment for a simple cleaning for 90$. When I came in all that was done for me was checking my teeth, they brought in a doctor to examine my teeth and did x-rays (WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR), but I was okay with that, as long as they cleaned my teeth. Which they didn't. After an hour of exams they told me my teeth need deep cleaning worth of 1000 dollars. I said okay thank you i shall consider that, please clean my teeth. They refused to clean my teeth, and when I asked for my money back, they refused as well- claiming I got a full exam with a doctor and x-ray which again I did not ask for. I already have been to their clinic so they even had an x-ray of mine from October. Left their clinic feeling disgusted deeply. read more

I went to him based on my friend using this dr.. the visit was pretty comprehensive. Where they lost me was the dr said give me till tonight to get the treatment plan together no problesm it was his birtday so i get the fun they all wanted that day.. but the problem is they made me schedule a week later for a bad sore painful tooth to JUSt go over the treatment plan..never had to do that before ever.. i had already been there and my mind was already tired i have m s so most my energy went for driveing 15miles and waiting and gettin xrayed and tyring to explain my self to the dr for the best way for us to deal with me. and my tooth.. he did say he would call his anesthsa friend but that is because he said if i start drilling you might need a root canal i said pull it then.. so i asked him to justifiy a root canal becuase i would need to be put out for the extraction..i would think a dentist would know if you need a root canal then he sorta backtracked and said you might not need one.. so i went from a crown to a root canal.. interesting.. and then back to a crown.. ggrrr so i had already had another appt with a dentist on tues.. but i went here first because of my friend saying they would fix it soon.. soo the other problem is when i called today to see if i could get the xrays sent to the second option and see if they could just send me or call me with the treatment plan i dont get around well.they said well we can send you the releash form i said by the time i get that and send it back ill have already seen the man on tues.. so now im going to have to get another dose of xarys on my face.. great.. im sure i glow between my cat scans and dental and all the other crap that goes with m s .. sad face.. also this has nothing to do with the service i got but i use a walker and wheel chair and they are not handycap compliant .. i did not say anything but its a fact i could not get mywalker into the bathroom i had to leave in in there small hall way and get in there to do my thing.. \i think they seem nice and all but im so frustated about not gettin my tooth fixed sooner im in pain and he said gargle with salt water. um ok. and he said he anethisa dr charges 800 an hours i said so how many hours will i need .. no comment so i suppose ill hve to keep lookin for a dr closer to me and or let the darn thing rot its way out .. i lovve my smile just had bad teeth now in back due to m s .. im sure they will respond to this and thats find im not bashing the dr or his business just not a good match for me i suppose. there is alot more details to this but it is what it is .. read more
