Going to the dentist isn't fun, okay? But these guys kind of make you forget where you are. Lounge furniture on the porch, a beverage station and TV in the lobby, TVs on the ceilings in the exam rooms, and super friendly staff make me willing to go every six months on the dot for my regular check-ups. Dr. Trunk is super friendly but also great at what she does. She's also realistic - she encourages strong oral hygiene but doesn't talk to you like a lot of other dentists can (read: condescendingly). She just chats with you. The hygienists are also quick and professional and clearly enjoy what they do. I also had a more major procedure done (root canal and crown due to a mistake from a previous dentist) and that was as pleasant as could be. They are professional and do great work and I have had no issues with the crown since they put it in nearly two years ago. read more

Following their treatment plan, I came in to replace 3 old fillings. Dr. O. removed the old fillings, but decided I needed a root canal and crown instead of a filling. My fillings were from many years ago. Now instead of $78, it's going to be thousands of dollars. Went to another office getting a filling not a root canal. Also, beware of the topical fluoride for adults....it is a profit center. I have never been asked if I wanted this additional treatment. I researched on line. Make up your own mind. Some research says it is great for adults, other research says it is all about the money. Dental Doctors has changed a lot in the past few years. Maybe it is time to make a switch. I've only had good experiences at this dental office. The environment is relaxing and the staff is excellent. Some of the best cleanings I have ever received. Location is easily accessible as it is on the outskirts of downtown so it is not a hassle to get to. In response to Barbara's post earlier I couldn't help but notice that she bought the item 5 months ago and then it stopped working?!? I'm not sure how that is the dental offices fault as it is a medical product that they sell. Not manufactured here. Try returning something to wall mart or Target after 5 months of use and see if they accept it. I'll save you time and let you know that they won't. read more

I was disappointed by the reaction I got once I told them they did the wrong tooth. I went in there with sensitivity to one tooth I told him to go ahead and work on the tooth next to it as well. once I find out the cost I said just do the one tooth they did the wrong one. But no I'm sorry, no we can fix the bad tooth. For over $1100 I'LL NEVER go back. read more

I have a HUGE fear of sitting in the Dentist chair, I require xanax and gas just to get a cleaning. I was told Dr.Ohmer was down to Earth , he would make me very at easy without meds, i tried , very Professional, I loved his staff and my appointment was Wonderful. I will be returning. I love going to the dentist without feeling pressure of Get her in and get her out. He took his time and talked to me about what I needed done, and it was affordable. Thank you ! I have been quite happy with this practice until today. The hygienist (Francis) is superior. I bought an $82 sonocare airfloss pro from them 5 months ago, and it stopped working. I put it back in the box and brought it back to the office. As I was explaining the situation to the receptionist, a voice came from the next room said, "She has to send it back." As I started to argue the point, the person (office manager?) came out and said, "We don't do that. It doesn't benefit us." So, instead of them replacing the waterpic that they sold to me, I spent 40minutes on the phone with Phillips who will replace it in 7-10 Days, and I send back the malfunctioning one. I would sum it up as great patient care; terrible customer service. Go to Target or Wal-Mart for your dental supplies. read more
