Drs and staff are awesome! Dr Rex got me in earlier than scheduled (by a week) and just easy and painless!

Full disclosure, I'm not a big fan of Dentists, well, to be more accurate. I'm not a fan of the…read morehard sell and incredibly inflated prices of dental services. It seems like something that used to cost $200 is now $700. You can "OK boomer" me all day long, but I still think that a huge difference from the price of even just two years ago. Anyway, you might wonder why am I writing this... because I actually kind of like this Dentist. Are they cheap? No not at all. However, before I had insurance, they did work with me and gave me some substantial discounts which were still more than I was prepared to pay, but regardless it was a nice gesture. Oddly enough, now that I have insurance, I actually pay more than I did before I had insurance, which is frustrating, but then again you could blame it on the tariffs I suppose. Anyway, regardless of all the price gouging inherent in the business of dentistry, I actually feel like I can trust this office to do a quality job. They went into great detail explaining what they were doing, and went to great lengths to make it as comfortable as possible. I was having a tooth ground down so they could put a crown on it, which is incredibly painful, but I realized that a lot of it is much like art, sculpting the media so that the installation takes hold. I appreciate that the doctor and the technician took their time to do it right. I could even say they went above and beyond because I got a little jaw Massage after my muscles were getting so sore from keeping my mouth open for so long. That was a nice empathetic gesture. I only wish I made more money and could afford the 3 implants I need, but with three kids, in this economy, I'm just lucky I still have the teeth I have! In conclusion, none of this was written with AI. If you're looking for what so far appears to be an honest exchange in the high priced world of Dentistry, I would recommend this particular Harbour Dental location.

They tried to cover up their errors, and I had to go to different specialists to find out what had actually happened. In addition, it turns out that a dentist who had never even examined me accessed my treatment plan and added three unnecessary fillings to it. This same "dentist" was the one who damaged my mouth and caused months of problems. This was Lucia Greer and, interestingly enough, she no longer works there. Kevin Snyder behaved arrogantly and was very defensive when my husband and I went to speak with him about what had happened. This was after he blew off attempts to contact him for well over a month. He and Greer were huddled together in his office when we arrived to speak with him. My original dentist here was James Lee. I was under the impression that he had ordered all of these fillings, but it turned out that he had only put down a filling for a cavity. I remembered Flavia doing a cleaning when she said that she noticed some recessive areas in my gums. She called Lucia Greer over, who looked in my mouth for about two minutes. She then typed something into the computer and left. At the time, I had no idea that it was, in fact, HER who said I needed additional fillings. When I asked Snyder why a dentist who had never examined me was allowed to do procedures on me, he replied that when she peeked in my mouth during my cleaning, that counted as my actual evaluation. Yes, he really said that.

Dr. Trunk is super friendly but also great at what she does. She's also realistic - she encourages strong oral hygiene but doesn't talk to you like a lot of other dentists can (read: condescendingly). She just chats with you. The hygienists are also quick and professional and clearly enjoy what they do. I also had a more major procedure done (root canal and crown due to a mistake from a previous dentist) and that was as pleasant as could be. They are professional and do great work and I have had no issues with the crown since they put it in nearly two years ago.

My fillings were from many years ago. Now instead of $78, it's going to be thousands of dollars. Went to another office getting a filling not a root canal. Also, beware of the topical fluoride for adults....it is a profit center. I have never been asked if I wanted this additional treatment. I researched on line. Make up your own mind. Some research says it is great for adults, other research says it is all about the money. Dental Doctors has changed a lot in the past few years. Maybe it is time to make a switch. It appears their business is not nearly as busy as it once was. These are my views and I am not a doctor or dentist. As always, buyer beware.

I was transferred to St Augustine, and transferred care from my former dentist to St Augustine Family last year. Dr. Caggiano read my entire folder (I'm no stranger to dental work or dental procedures), even making mention of the note in my chart of my rapid metabolism and the only anesthetic that will work to numb me, and had plenty of it on hand for my first procedure. I knew that I had a prior cavity repair fail twice on my back lower left molar, but I didn't have the time to get it fixed properly. A prior dentist had attempted to repair this and couldn't manage the water from the drill, and it choked me multiple times.(Water in the lungs is not fun) First procedure: Failed cavity repair on a deep tooth way in the back that I had less than favorable experiences with. After discussing options w/ Dr. Caggiano- and my never wanting to get a root canal - we opted to crown the tooth. I'll try it one more time- on my second visit. Dr. Caggiano was very communicative during the procedure and 2 assistants worked diligently to keep the water out of my throat during the drilling with 2 large bore suction hoses running together. Their crown impressions were on point, and the temp crown held for the 2 weeks that we had to wait for the new one to be made. Over a year later, no issues with the crown and just had my semi-annual cleaning. No cavities, no gaps in the crown.

My current plan will expire at the end of June and I'm afraid the work will not be completed. What is going on over there?
