I was promised follow-up over the course of five weeks but never received a single call. Instead, I had to call the office four separate times just to find out what my insurance would cover and what it wouldn't. I also was given an upsell recommendation for four crowns on fillings that simply needed to be replaced. Scheduling was also an issue. I received a text confirming one appointment time, only to get a call the day before "confirming" a completely different time. When I pointed out that I had a confirmation text with the original time, I was told, "Oh, well, can you come at this time? No? Okay, I'll call you back." I never received a call back. The final issue involved obtaining medical clearance from my OB. The office was supposed to contact my doctor's office for approval. On the day of my appointment, since I live 40 minutes away, I called to confirm they had received the clearance before making the drive. I was told, "I called this morning, but no reply. Do you want to call them?" At that point, it felt like I was responsible for coordinating communication that should have been handled by the dental office. Overall, the experience felt like one long goose chase. The lack of communication, follow-up, and professionalism was frustrating. Unfortunately, I would recommend looking elsewhere for your dental care.

The receptionist, Myra was wonderful--she went above and beyond to help me with my insurance coverage and made sure I could be seen right away. The office itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and has a calming atmosphere that really helps ease any dental anxiety. I ended up needing a root canal and crown, which can be intimidating, but Dr. Kim made the entire process smooth and reassuring. He took the time to clearly explain everything beforehand and continued to walk me through what he was doing during the procedure. I especially appreciated that he kept me informed on timing--knowing what to expect made a huge difference. On top of that, the billing process was very transparent. Ana clearly explained my insurance and costs upfront, and everything was very reasonable--no surprises. I truly feel lucky to have found this office. Once we arrived, however, we were informed that insurance would not be used for her particular problem and that we would need to pay the full balance ourselves. Because my mother was in considerable pain, we agreed to proceed. We were told that what appeared to be an infection required drainage and cleaning. She initially felt better after the procedure and pain medication, but the relief lasted only about three days. Her pain gradually returned and, by the seventh day, had become excruciating. We then took her to her regular dentist, who performed additional imaging and determined that she needed a root canal. When I contacted Pacific Dental to discuss what had happened and express my concerns, the office staff came across as dismissive and defensive rather than helpful or understanding. I understand that dental conditions can sometimes require additional treatment, but the combination of the unexpected insurance issue, the temporary relief, and the way our concerns were handled made this a very poor experience for our family.

It's not easy finding a dentist who makes you feel this comfortable and at ease. I'm beyond grateful to have found such a gem of a dental office. Without a doubt, they are the best in Glendale. From the moment I entered Dr. Edwin's office, the staff was incredibly sweet and attentive. Three nurses stood out, Ripsime, Aida, and Liana.. who were all so helpful. They even brought me a coffee when they noticed I was sleepy, which was such a kind gesture. Dr. Edwin came in and carefully assessed my numbing issue. He was very patient, injecting me twice initially, then checking if I was numb. When I wasn't, he graciously took his time, numbing me several more times. When I flinched during a test, he was so kind and immediately switched to a smaller needle to go deeper with my numbing. He explained I had deep roots and went deeper into the area with the numbing agent. I kid you not I got numbed a good 8-9 times, the numbing issue was crazy...After that, I felt absolutely nothing. He completed my root canal in about 15 minutes, and that's kind of really fast for a root canal, skilled care really. The waiting room and back was full when I came in, and for good reason. Hes highly skilled. They also did a CT scan of my teeth and took follow-up X-rays. Everything was sent back to my regular dentist for my crown. After the visit, I called my dentist, and they scheduled me in for the crown fitting in two weeks. All in all, this was a 5 out of 5 experience. Dr. Edwin is highly skilled, patient, and kind. The entire team made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I can't recommend them enough!

From beginning to end, Noah was treated with so much kindness and care. As a parent, there's nothing better than knowing your child is in good hands.
