Even when you drive by this place it catches your eye! I kept seeing them on social media and once I realized it was the place I kept driving by I had to schedule an appointment! Today I went to Dentique for the general cleaning appointment and I did not expect that I would get my gums evaluated in a detailed way, with care! I always had my gums briefly examined at my previous dental clinic before, but their dental hygienist did not why evaluating gums was important and I did not bother to ask why. ‍ This time I noticed the dental hygienist recording my gum chart, which I'd never seen that kind of chart at my previous dental clinic, that made me ask her about it. Relying on my dad as my informal ASL interpreter to give me information , the dental hygienist explained to me that I have gingivitis (gums inflame and bleed) that could cause more health problems if left untreated. I was a bit shocked to learn that gingivitis can be linked with heart disease, liver disease, and others due to bacteria, but at least I was properly informed. She strongly recommended me to change my daily diet and oral hygiene habits, like switching the regular toothbrush to the electric toothbrush, properly brushing/flossing, and avoiding certain foods. After the appointment, my dad and I were beyond impressed with everything the staff did, and I really appreciated for being informed about the importance of gum evaluation and my dental health. Did you know that there are two types of people no one is ever happy to see? The first is lawyers (for obvious reasons) the second is dentists. Trust me, if you go to Dr Nikou you will not feel this way. I started going to Dr Nikou four years ago when I had some crazy postpartum gum inflammation. I have a bad addiction to sugar. I live off candy. Dr Nikou never makes me feel bad, but she does talk to me about proper care and dental hygiene. I used to get nervous going to the dentist because I was waiting for a lecture. Dr Nikou is young, hip and cute, she gets it. A lot of people like to have older dentists. What they don't understand is new dentists are up on the latest research and techniques. Dr Nikou is a perfect example of this. She is always warm and patient. I also appreciate that she respects my time. She never keeps you waiting long and still is extremely meticulous about her work. I always feel so relaxed in her presence. I was so thrilled when she opened up this new location. The office is stunning. I had heard at her sister office a rumor that they were working on a new location. I was a little hesitant when I called to make an appointment and was told she could take me in her new office. OMG what a beautiful office. It is serene, quiet, and gorgeous. You really feel like you are at a spa, not a dental office. Dentique is a true representation of Dr Nikou. Staff was professional. Unfortunately, they wanted to charge a strange out of pocket "disinfect and desensitize" fee for fillings. I both looked it up and called my insurance. Both my research and the insurance company indicated that this fee should be part of the billing code for the procedure and billed to insurance. I called the office and told them I would like to discuss this strange fee. The office staff told me that the doctor would call me back to discuss, however she never did. It is very hard to trust a dentist who seems to just be trying to get more out of your pocket. I am dissapointed and will have to find another dentist that I can trust to charge insurance for things that insurance covers. read more

To start this review - I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rahbar and Dentique! I first found Dr. Rahbar through Yelp a year ago after going through a divorce and not feeling confident about my smile/self. Previously I had a history of poor dental work while living overseas, which exacerbated my fear of going to the dentist. From the first call to make an appointment for my initial consultation and then the procedures with Dr. Rahbar, I never doubted I was in the right place. In my first meeting (complimentary consultation) with Dr. Rahbar, she took her time to review my case and offered various recommendations on how I could proceed forward to improve my smile. Not once did I ever feel pressured as I had all the information needed to make an informed decision. It was a very easy decision and after my consultation, I moved forward in getting veneers. The process was surprisingly effortless and I honestly enjoyed going to my appointments at Dentique. I was never in pain, felt uncomfortable, or worried I made a mistake- it was truly like being at a spa the entire time. Dr. Rahbar is an expert at her craft and a true perfectionist. She made sure every detail from my gums, to the color, shape, etc. of my new smile was perfect before cementing my final veneers. After getting my final veneers, the results were beyond my expectation and so natural looking I almost cried. My best advice is to be patient and let Dr. Rahbar do her magic. AMAZING. If you are looking for an amazing dentist and state of the art practice look no further, Dentique is it! I came to see Dr. Rahbar for a second opinion after breaking a big filling on one of my back teeth. I drove all the way from Orange County because I had heard so many wonderful things about this practice, and she didn't disappoint. Scheduling was super easy and I absolutely loved filling out the "paperwork" on my phone before I came in. They texted me a link and I was able to complete everything with just a few clicks. When I arrived, I was taken back immediately and met Dr. Rahbar and her assistant, Des. They listened to me and took X-rays and pictures of my tooth. Dr. Rahbar explained the situation and my treatment options. She explained the pros and cons of the different options and together we decided that it would be best to get a crown for my broken tooth. I loved that she really took her time to explain what was happening. Then, as I was waiting for my treatment I got an amazing neck and shoulder massage! This was such a treat and unexpected from a dental office! Dr. Rahbar is just amazing. She gave me a shot to numb my back tooth and I didn't even feel it! I came in today for the very first time. It is the absolutely most beautiful dental office I have ever been to. Now, the staff.. WOW. If I could give 10 stars I would! The staff are absolutely incredible, comforting, and so joyful. The doctor was so incredible. My whole life I have feared dentist. Until I met Doctor Rhabar, she is so sweet, genuine and truly caring. She felt like a friend and this felt like my permanent dental office. It is so unique, I even got a blanket to keep me warm because I was nervous. I absolutely recommend to everyone. You have to come see for yourself... it is just that amazing.
