I'm terrified of the dentist. I've never had a good experience. The sounds, the stabbing pain of the X-rays, the jabbing of your gums to clean them- all of that made me stay away from the dentist for longer than I'd like to admit. After finding this office online and discovering it was a part of my network I thought I'd finally face my fear and try again. It's taken a lot to work up to it but I know it's critical for my health. They reassured me very step of the way. Nadia, the dental hygienist took her time, explained every step to me and before it happened, and checked for oral cancer and abnormalities. Why has no one else ever done this before? She was brilliant. Dr. Rahbar was incredibly kind. Unlike previous dentists who scolded me and made me feel bad for not brushing well enough, she took the time, showed models, and carefully explained why oral health was important. Places like Western Dental feel like a money grab. They don't feel clean or welcoming. Dentique is the complete opposite. It's a beautiful, clean, stress free office. They take the time to explain your finance options and give you opportunities to break up your treatment. It truly feels like they care about me and my health, not just what they can get out of my insurance policy. On top of everything, they offer spa services. Get the neck and shoulder massage! Stephanie's hands are magic. I'm never going to another dentist. Thank you so much for helping me face my fears and take care of my bealth Update: I had to go in for 8 cavities. (Yes, I know that's a crazy number- no judging.) I took a long lunch and was able to go back to work 2 hours later (including travel time.) so fast! Imagine a 5 star hotel but its a dental office. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you are taken care of on a level unheard of in any medical field. I have had terrible experiences with dental offices and some great but the girls here are truly gifted. I could barely tell I was getting my teeth cleaned (which is a true fear of mine). First of all the dentist is the last place on earth I want to be! As a first time patient, I called with a broken crown and they took me day of! All the girls at the front desk are super sweet and nice. The office is beautiful and I felt comfortable the minute I walked in. Nice place very clean like no other, however the big surprise is how much money you need to pay before any work is done even with insurance. I felt like they were trying to sell me on spending a large amount or using a finance company. I would say avoid the glam and use a place that will get the work done and not require you to sell a kidney in order to get the work done. Dentique was one of the many places I went to get a consultation regarding Invisalign vs. veneers. My main goal was to close a gap I had on my front two teeth and to make my smile less "gummy." We decided to go the invisalign route because I wanted to keep my original teeth, plus, the main thing I was concerned about was my gap which can easily be fixed with Invisalign. As for my gums, we opted for gum contouring. All in all, I love this office! Never did I once feel pressured to get veneers or make a split decision right away like some other dental offices. They let me know the pros and cons of both routes and wanted to make sure I was happy with my decision that we both chose together. Dr. Rahbar is both detail oriented and quick with what she does because believe me, there are some procedures I want to be done quick lol. The dentist isn't my favorite place because I've had some bad experiences and I just hate getting those numbing shots! It always hurts! Lol. And this is where her quickness is much appreciated because she made that process so much more comfortable than any other dental office that has done that to me. The rest of her all female staff are all great as well! Super friendly and always communicates my needs to Dr. Rahbar. They also reply back pretty quick via text with any questions I may have. Also, they probably have the most gorgeous dental office I have ever seen! So modern and pretty! Parking isn't bad either! They have a parking lot where you can park your car or you can park it right on their driveway if there isn't already a car there. Super convenient because downtown/hillcrest parking is never fun. I've been searching for a dentist for sometime now and I finally found the most perfect dentist! Personally I've never liked going to the dentist. I always felt uncomfortable when going, I mean no one really likes their mouth getting poked. At Dentique they make you feel as comfortable as possible! Dr Rahbar is a very honest and genuine dentist. I've interviewed and visited several before I came across her. She's professional, personable, and truly cares about your well being. She took her time to hear and answer all of my questions thoroughly and didn't make me feel rushed like many health professionals do. My x-rays, dental cleaning, teeth whitening were done with ease on my last visit. She has also filled my cavities previously too and have had no problems since. My recent visit, I had a chip on my front tooth that was bothering me for quite a while. She took time in fixing this for me and pinpointed the reason why it kept chipping. With great detail she resolved the issue. She explained exactly what she was going to do before she did it so I knew what to expect. As a result, I experienced zero pain and felt comfortable in my chair. Dr Rahbar from Dentique is amazing. I moved to the Hillcrest area and while looking for walkable dentists they came up taking my insurance. Jessica was so helpful in setting up my appointment and talking to me all about my insurance stuff. She also checked to see if I was eligible for more cleanings a year than I thought. I also had a wonderful dental assistant who was so sweet and funny but I can't remember her name. They make you feel relaxed - anything teeth related makes me anxious since it's usually uncomfortable and crazy expensive. But at this location I felt at ease, comfortable and was able to watch HGTV while getting my cleaning, which may seem small but really takes your mind off the giant tools in your mouth. I am appreciative of this dental office and their staff I do not like changing doctors or dentists but it's hard to find one to be loyal too, that just gets everything right - luckily I found that here at Dentique.
