Hello, I was always scared of dentists and never wanted braces. I knew I needed them and from my previous experiences I never received any alternatives because of my extreme case. So I decided to wait for 7 years for orthodontic options to get better. But I didn't really take care of my teeth properly. When a tooth broke in half and needed to be pulled my partner referred me to Dentist On Nellis. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Khanh T. Nguyen, DMD and the staff and I have to say they didn't judge me for waiting so long, the way my teeth looked, and made me feel my case was repairable. Dr. Khanh T. Nguyen, DMD was very sincere about my ordeal and gentle with me through out the process of pulling my tooth, cleaning, and made me feel comfortable. He understood my needs and I never had an issue with his recommendations. I am currently on the Invisalign program and he along with everyone can see a huge difference in the quality of my smile. I was an extreme case and Dr. Khanh T. Nguyen, DMD was not afraid to take me on. In addition to his funny sense of humor and friendly demeanor he knows what he is doing. I have even seen him deal with difficult clients and he takes the time to hear their concern. He never took their frustration personally or carried it on to other clients and this is rare in any healthcare industry. I would not only recommend Dr Khanh T. Nguyen, DMD for extreme cases but if you have fear of dentists he is your guy. Thank you Dr. Khanh T. Although its not the best looking when it comes to the technology they have, I love love love how well they know their business. Very professional staff, well knowledgeable, always on top of their duties. I love how fast you get called in. If your appointment is at 5pm, and you get there at 4:58 saying you have an appointment, they know exactly who you are , and won't even take five minutes for you to be called. First off, I want to say I have no issues with the actual dentists or the assistants. They were all very nice during my visits here. I do however have a problem with the rude receptionist or office manager whichever one she is. I have a chronic health problem (Diabetes) along with a few other issues so I am swamped with medical bills that I'm currently paying. I came here for a root canal about a year ago and got part of the work done and paid over $300 for it. I covered all of that balance for the work. My next appointment was supposed to consist of getting my permanent crowns put in and I was to pay $532 in full at this appointment. I asked numerous times is there a way I can split the payment into two and was told no by her which is completely fine. She told me that the dentist only does full payments. I have no problem with that which is why I've had to put the appointment off for awhile while I get some of my medical bills down. I'd rather not die than worry about a tooth for a few months until I am able to give them the entire $532 at once. I had to go back for an emergency appoint about 2 weeks ago because the area where I received the root canal was reinfected. They took me in and referred me to an Endodontist while also prescribing antibiotics to clear the infection. The plan was to see the Endodontist to ensure the infection was cleared and then return and pay my balance to get the permanent crowns put in. Today I receive a letter from a collection agency saying I owe over $800 due to dentist on Nellis sending me into collections for that appointment. I called the dentist and was placed on the phone with the office manager. She informed me that there is nothing they can do and that I must pay the collection agency. I'm still trying to figure out how I owe for an appointment where the work was not even done yet. She is very rude and condescending and had no remorse for me telling her the reason I couldn't set up the appointment. I gave them that same reason a year ago when they told me I couldn't split the payment into two. She basically told me to call back and make the appointment when I can but stated nothing about possibly being sent into collections. Yes they've called me over the year about the appointment and left messages but there was no offer for a payment arrangement as I have asked about before. I've never dealt with a dentist office with shady and greedy practices like this. I never said I wasn't going to return for my final appointment. I had to put it off once again because I have medical bills that I am covering for my many hospital visits for my health issues. They refused to allow me to split the payment so I told them I'll have to wait until I can pay in full to get the work completed. I will be contacting an attorney on this matter as well and will never return to this place again. I've never felt so belittled by an establishment before. read more

I had just switched my insurance to this office due to a recommendation. So glad I did. I broke a tooth and called for an appointment and they got me in that same day. Dentist On Nellis is the best dentist I've ever been to. The receptionists are always in a good mood, they're very nice, and also knowledgeable. DMD Brittany Rich is the best dentist I've ever had. Not only has she cured my fear of Dentists but she is very passionate, thurough, and does excellent work. She always makes sure that I don't feel and pain and and that I am completely satisfied before I walk out the door. My teeth look great and I can smile happily and worry free from now on. I mostly would never go to a dentist for any reason, however, I had a tooth problem I could not solve myself, so I chose this dentist after reading the yelp reviews, and it is close to my home. The experience was quick, pleasant. Everyone from beginning to end, were genuine, thoughtful, and actually insightful. I was impressed. I did not need dental work, however, the dentist reviewed the x ray with me, and we agreed on no tx at this time. I felt comfortable enough that I would not hesitate to return if needed. read more

It's a sad day today my fellow yelpers I have been bringing my whole family to dentist on Nellis a family of four for several years. I'm sorry to say what was a great way to get dental care has changed GREED has now taken over this office! They have changed their policies to now DOUBLE charge for missed appointments even after you called and canceled the appointments. My wife was charged for no call no show $25.00 plus 25.00 for no 24 hour notice !! When I called to canceling the appointments 3 days in advance. It has become obvious that the over booking of patients showed that Greed has now changed the level of care you receive there . The office manager most likely dentist wife drives this change policy when you see her appearance it will make sense why they need to gouge their customers. It is disappointing to see how they have gotten to the point of becoming a dental mill with no regard for the loss of customers. It won't be long before this is just another piece of empty real estate with a big for lease sign on it !!!!! I have been coming to Dentists On Nellis for a few years now and I won't be going anywhere else. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The doctors are very gentle and do amazing work. They also have such great personalities and make me feel very comfortable. I am very picky with my dental work and have been very happy with my results here. Highly recommended! I have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr. Khanh and Dr. Tong are truly amazing! Very very down to earth. I will be the first one to say I hate going to the dentist. The needles freak me out. He is always reassuring and very accomodating. His office staff is truly one of the BEST! They are always very pleasant you do not seem like just a number. They always help me with my very crazy schedule. I often try to book our kids back to back. I drive 20 miles at least each way. He does have an office closer to me but, only on certain days. People say I am crazy driving that far. But, I enjoy having great service and pleasant staff. All of the dental assistants are nice and joke and laugh. It definitely helps when you know the needles are coming or major work. Definitely helps with my anxiety. Thanks Dr. Khanh you're a true professional. Both dentists are great.
