You literally can make limitless combos to have your salad exactly as you want. All dressings are made in-house, which is pretty impressive. You can order a rice bowl with ingredients, too. The portions are beyond generous (a small salad would be considered large elsewhere) and the array of ingredients and toppings is exceptional. On my first visit, I ordered a small spinach salad with grilled salmon. As toppings, I added chopped red onion, shredded carrot, pineapple, mandarin oranges, blueberries, chopped strawberries, chopped beet, blue cheese, sliced avocado, dried cranberries with their in house made raspberry vinaigrette. It was literally one of the most delicious salads I've ever had. I was so stuffed from the generous portion that I didn't need dinner. On my second visit, I got a veggie wrap with grilled chicken, chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, shredded carrot, blue cheese, sliced avocado. I got the in-house buttermilk ranch dressing on the side (and ended up not using it-sandwich was amazing without it). I was asked if I wanted chicken warmed (I didn't) and I was amazed at the skill of the preparer who was able to tightly wrap the ginormous quantity of ingredients into the wrap and halve it. I only ate half my sandwich so I have lunch for tomorrow. Win-win. The black cherry tarragon soda was so good as was the Italian lemon soda. Their soups sounded great as did their desserts. The staff was so friendly and helpful. (Don't forget to tip!) The tvs on the walls show cool food art being made. I'd come here and their Poke place at least twice a week for lunch if I lived locally. Prices are extremely reasonable for quality and quality of food.

I found the shrimp super flavorful. They are prepared by weight, not numbers, so the shrimp count is between 5-7. The cocktail sauce was tasty. I ordered my steak medium rare. It was just over that, but still so tasty, juicy, and tender. The grits were a stand out! They were so good that our table got an extra side to share. Our server, Addison was such a personality and knowledgeable about the menu. Her service convinced me that I could trust her with basically anything. We sat outside, so we never got further than the threshold so I can't say I know too much about the vibe inside. However, there was great people watching, GREAT food, and great company. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. The guacamole had a smooth, fresh texture but was noticeably under-seasoned and needed more salt. The portion size was also disappointingly small considering the price. The combination plate featuring the chile poblano and steak chimichanga was the evening's biggest letdown. The refried beans tasted as though they had been scooped straight from a can, while the rice was one of the few successes of the meal--well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and fluffy. The chile poblano was shockingly small, easily the smallest I've ever been served, and lacked any real character. The ground beef filling was bland, resulting in little more than a soft, flavorless mound. The steak chimichanga was equally disappointing in both size and execution. It was so small it looked more appropriate for a children's menu. While the steak itself was tender, it lacked seasoning and was excessively greasy. I found myself repeatedly pouring salsa over nearly every bite just to introduce some flavor to the plate. The Plato Loco continued the trend of undersized portions. Once again, the rice was cooked beautifully, and the meat itself was tender, but the overall dish was remarkably bland. Nearly all of the flavor came from the cheese sauce rather than the ingredients themselves. On a positive note, the extra tortillas arrived piping hot, fresh, and delicious. Unfortunately, the service mirrored the kitchen's inconsistency. Our server was largely absent throughout the meal. Drinks sat empty multiple times, our basket of chips often remained without salsa, and we repeatedly had to flag him down for refills and basic table service. This restaurant was once my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbus, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Whether the focus has shifted to the newer Phoenix City location or something else has changed behind the scenes, the difference is impossible to ignore. The generous portions that once set this restaurant apart have shrunk dramatically, and the bold flavors that kept us coming back have largely disappeared. Aside from the outstanding salsa and a few isolated highlights, this meal felt uninspired and poorly executed. It was a disappointing experience that leaves me questioning whether I'll be returning anytime soon.

I could live solely off of their bruschetta and spinach dip! That's how awesome it is. But seriously, I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Prices are great, service is awesome, and food is phenomenal. The kids of the owners are typically here helping with whatever is needed and it's the cutest addition to the family friendly vibe that's already happening! I highly recommend eating here and I will certainly continue to go as often as I can! read more
