Excellent love the steak sandwich, bread, broccoli soup every time my daughter visits me she brings me something tasty

They are always out of something. Today, I ordered their new Elote salad. Looked good. They were out of the avocado and get this, CORN! hardly elote then. "did I still want it?" NO! I switched to another salad. "We are out of" this and that. I'm not kidding every time I go it's the same thing. They were out of lettuce my last visit. This is a sandwich shop! The floors are sticky and the tables are dirty. One particular cashier has a fit when you don't leave a tip. Ok here is my tip, drive across the street to Publix and buy the ingredients. Wow what kind of "sandwich" is this? It's basically two pieces of bread slapped together. I usually don't have a problem with this store but this visit was beyond subpar. Not only did I receive this bread sandwich but they also forgot my croissant and I had to walk back inside to get it. read more

My first time trying Panera bread and I will have to say I am not going back when I pulled up to the drive-through. I let them know that this was my first time here and that I was going to take a second to read the menu. They demanded I hurry up because there was people waiting mind you there was no one behind me or in front of me, I just quickly ordered what I think was a pepperoni sandwich and then a mint, watermelon lemonade the mint watermelon lemonade was all ice and was really boring enslaver the sandwich as you can see in my pictures had like two pepperoni slices. That's it out of the whole sandwich and very little cheese. I do not recommend Panera bread in general. If this is what it's always gonna be, and I definitely will not be coming back to the specific Panera. read more

We arrived at 9:30 well past the breakfast rush. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches in the drive through and requested the sandwiches be cut in half as we had to drive and eat. I guess that was too much to ask because while they said okay to our simple request instead they threw a plastic knife in the bag. Difficult to manage cutting inside the car..... The biggest problem was the sandwiches were so greasy it was inedible. Grease just pouring out of the paper wrapper. We had to pull over and clean up a mess from all the grease. CHECK YOUR TO GO ORDERS!!! We have had 3 consecutive issues with items missing from our orders or getting wrong food altogether...once it was both issues with the same order!!! However the receipts are correct! NO One seems to have the same story twice as to what size food(sm/med/large), the sides that can be included, or what the particular contents of the menu items from their menu. I have literally confirmed face to face twice the size bowl of soup that comes with the bread bowls, 2 times it's been wrong. I think we're done with the Midtown location...now I'm seeing their Review Status, wish I had checked sooner. read more

Soft opening a week ago near my sister's home. It's a stand alone building next to former Kmart. It's pretty big. Customer service was great. We had breakfast: spinach & artichoke soufflés , broccoli cheddar soup, chipotle chicken on flatbread, pumpkin muffin, pecan roll and papaya passion green tea. Food was good. No complaints. Food and service in Panera are always good. The atmosphere is so sophisticated and urbane. Locations are convenient in most cities. The Macon Road location is close to my home and therefore a frequent stop for a quick coffee. The only reason this is not a five star recommendation is that the coffee counter is a bit littered with sugar and coffee stains. A quick swipe with a cleaning cloth is all it would take for a much improved experience. read more

This was our fourth trip to this location and I have to say they could be doing better with their Brand New building and all new self serve! We again skipped the computers as I like some human interaction as it fairs well with my reviews() it took 6 minutes for me to finally give up and go searching for a Front end employee to take our order! The tables were all dirty and we happened to be 4 of the six in the establishment‍. Now, the food was excellent as we Never have had a bad meal since they opened. Everything was prepared to order and was hot and delicious. With the self order, self pick up of food , I feel as though some of the staff has left us to fend for ourselves when there really are some things they will be needed for. However if that's not you!!! You can order on your mobile device , walk in without speaking to anyone, take a drink cup (if paid) and grab your food from the designated shelf!!! Three times a charm! I ordered 3 iced lattes through the app for rapid pick up. They started making them at the time they to be ready. Made the order wrong not once but twice. I had no idea this location employed people that can't read or retain their training. I've had these issues with this location on several other trips. Panera as company I enjoy but this location in this city might be the worst. The level of customer service and work ethic with some of the employees is very low. read more

Two days ago I went to the store hoping for a quick in and out, due to not being busy. Boy was I wrong , every order I tried to place was "out of order". The staff seemed to be out of it that, because everyone was rude and lifeless. No help was really provided during my time there, this location used to be. I love the broccoli cheese soup here. It's consistently delicious. In fact, I've stopped in three working days in a row and ordered it for dine in. However, today the bowl was not filled as it typically is. I asked the preparer to please fill it. She said "no, that's how much it's supposed to be". As I discussed this with her a customer stated that her order was wrong. The same woman told her that she got what was rung up. She did offer to fix it. Another woman had an incorrect order and they got a bit rude with her. Ultimately, the manager fixed her problem. I just took my bowl of soup to the table and enjoyed it while it was still hot. Ordering from this particular Panera is often frustrating. They are short tempered on customer communications, and often are short on Bread(!) and items to go with their food- as in cheese for a French Onion, croutons for tomato soup. The Bradly Park shopping Center location doesn't have these short comings. read more

Panera bread should never be an unpleasant stop for food, but this location's quality isn't up to par for me. The cold items are not kept at proper temps. (You can tell because of the sour tasting condensation on the food, a dishy taste. It ruined the meal for me when even the sacred boiled egg is sour. read more

We ordered to go on Friday 3/27 and I honestly hesitate when we do get Panera because it is more money than I like to spend for lunch and I t's just overpriced for everything. I was so disappointed in my full Cobb salad, I order it for two favorite things boiled egg and avocado. When we arrived home I found my salad had neither on it. I would have ordered something else if I had known they didn't have these items and if they didn't have them they sure shouldn't have charged me full price! We placed our order through DoorDash - the driver didn't bring drinks - he said they didn't give him any and he would go back. 60 minutes later no drinks - called Panera and they said u have to call Doordash's 1 800 number and they would correct it on their end and then they would contact Panera. Drive thru option is actually a lot faster than what you would expect. Nothing much to say about the food (typical Panera) although I feel that the lettuce isn't as fresh here as other locations. Definitely still a thumbs up! read more

I love Panera and I normally go to the one across town, but I happened to be in this area on a Wednesday around 12:30 and stopped for lunch. I used the fast ordering system but I ordered 2 things that they happened to not have and the system didn't tell me. I paid for 2 things they did not have and I could not get a refund, only a substitution. The inside is super clean and the decor is very modern and well designed. They did not have a lot of normal items in-stock such as large cups, a few of the drink items were empty, and I didn't get a few things apart of my order (bread). Other than that the service was quick getting the food that I received out. I will go back but expecting to have all of their items in carry. read more

First of all, I love Panera Bread. The product is good. The business model is good. However, this is a brand new Panera and it is already very dirty. I have been here a couple of times early in the morning and the floors were filthy. Also, the service is extremely slow. I gave them a month to shake things down and get on it but I am in line right now to grab a muffin on the way home and I have been sitting here for 15 minutes. It's crazy. The restaurant has a lot of people in it. There are a lot of cars in line at the drive-thru. It will not take long for any of them to decide it's not worth the wait. Hopefully, they will get things together. It's nice to have another Panera in town that I can stop at. read more

Went in to see for myself, restrooms were clean, floors constantly being cleaned, they have people constantly cleaning the tables down, place is very modern and comfortable. I was expecting to see some rundown slump as people kept commenting very poorly/negatively and I didn't see any of it. Must be a personal thing they have against Panera or it's workers. Even the workers are polite. I've sat down to eat inside 3 times and ordered to go 5 times and I still haven't seen any of the negative. Food is pretty quickly cooked. Under 12 minutes. No complaints there either. Overall great experiences. Don't take anyone's word but yourselves, just go having the experience. What doesn't work for some, may work for you. read more

Our lunch was a total disaster. I can't understand why if I manually enter my order how it can be so messed up. Plus the sandwiches were literally thrown together, as in when we opened our to go boxes top piece of bread was half way off & topping all over, the box was full of all the bits of the sandwich. Ordered & paid for extra chicken on a salad & it wasn't given was the point when we took 3 different meals back. The manager was very nice & remade all 3 however didn't look at the original order to see that the other 2 sandwiches wanted no onion. There was about 6 other mistakes made that I just don't even want to list bcuz it doesn't really matter. I went there for sandwiches & soup. The only thing worth raving over was the bread. It was excellent. The soup tasted like Progresso. My husband said the same as I was thinking it. I had Turkey which tasted like it came straight from a convenience store cooler. He had the Tuscan something sandwich which he said was mediocre. We both had a cookie which was fairly good. The service was good and the establishment was very clean. That's the reason it rated the 3rd star. Overall for $30 it was a "not again" for me. read more

I typically love Panera, visit the one across town often. This location opened recently and is much closer to my house. I stopped in today for lunch and was happy with service and food, however, it is a new build and I was rather disappointed with the theme/decor. Other Panera locations are warm and inviting, not so with this new one. Modern, minimalistic and cold. Not sure why anyone would want to eat in such an environment. I suppose I will continue to eat from here because of convenience, but not likely to sit down, will likely just pick up thru drive through. read more
