This team assisted my in-laws in their move back to family after many years of retirement in the desert. Desert Express had come highly recommended to them. My MIL told me all about the great customer service and communication. She was so grateful for their availability to do much of the household packing prior to the move. She also mentioned how efficient and careful they were while moving all of their belongings into the truck. I experienced the excellent service first-hand while over-seeing the move-in. Sergio and Walter were hardworking, patient, and flexible when needed. We had a plan for where each piece of furniture would go. After shopping extensively for moving solutions, I decided to go with Sergio and his team. He was prompt to reply and extremely professional. His rates were very competitive as well. I needed three movers to move a 2-bedroom-full storage unit into our new home and they were fantastic! Very humble workers who took obvious care not to damage any of our furniture. One of the workers even pointed out a coin jar we had in our storage unit and asked that I take it since they did not want us to worry about any money going lost. I thought that was very kind. We hired Sergio, and Team for two very involved heavy moves. One was combining two households years back and they were so impressive. Hardest working guys I have seen in unison in years. No surprise we refer people to them as we called on them for our move from a real tight 3 bd/2ba condo in Brava, to a PD home. Nothing was broken and they are strong, fast, trustworthy and honest. PS Please remember to tip your movers,so many people do not and trust me, an extra % is in order. You are entrusting these men with your most prized personal possessions, treasures, family heirlooms, and irreplaceables. Why NOT tip generously if you can afford it? At least something bc they will remember your kindness. We like to order some pizzas, invite them to join us for a bite. Please think of how much work your last DIY move was- chaotic, stressful, and backbreaking labor, particularly during our triple-digit heat brutal summers. These gentlemen are here to do the heavy lifting, dismantling, reassembling FOR you. They do this every day, for a living so be generous! read more

We used Mr. Sergio Franco of DXD and two of his employees for a local move in 2013. They were punctual, polite, and professional. They did a great job and we were very pleased, so we hired DXD again in March 2015. A few days after my mother's move, she realized her sewing storage stool was missing; with all the chaos and boxes, we didn't notice that it wasn't tucked under her sewing machine. We looked everywhere and didn't find it so we called Sergio Franco. My mother explained to him that it was missing. He became quite defensive and expressed no concern or apology. He stated that he didn't have it and it couldn't have been left on the truck or accidentally delivered to anyone else. I later emailed asking if he could please recheck the truck, check with his employees, and call the point of origin and delivery addresses to see if perhaps it was inadvertently left behind. I received no response. Two weeks later my mother called Sergio to follow-up and he was quite rude. He again said that he didn't have the sewing stool and then proceeded to suggest to my mother that "she probably gave it away to charity and doesn't remember." UNBELIEVABLE!!! While the sewing storage stool was of no value to anyone else, it was valued by my mom. It was over 35 years old and it held antique buttons, her sewing supplies and she sat on it while she used her sewing machine. It was THERE the morning of the move (verified by five family members). It was NOT THERE at the delivery. DXD was responsible for all of her belongings. No apology. No concern. No empathy. No response. Very disappointing and unprofessional ending to an otherwise good experience. I've delayed posting a review as I keep hoping that her sewing stool would show up; unfortunately it has not. read more

We needed our 4 PODS unloaded & since they were delivered 2 at at time, we needed Sergio & his team out twice at our home within 1 week. Sergio was very accommodating and worked with us to get a timely unload of the PODS. They showed up on time as promised. Since the PODS were shipped from the East Coast many of the boxes had shifted and unloading by a pro was necessary to avoid damage. Many of our boxes & household goods were very heavy but Sergio & his helper Chris were pros, very courteous & did an outstanding job working non-stop. They assembled whatever we needed as well. We highly recommend DESERT EXPRESS! We tipped Sergio & Chris because they provided an excellent consumer experience. In fact, they were the best movers we've ever hired! read more
