There is a wide array of vegetarian and no veg dishes so all appetites are satiated. I love the non veg dishes and appetizers! Ending the meal with a dessert and chai tops it off! The customer service is exemplary! Although it's a buffet the hostess is very personable and brings samples and freshly prepared naans, chicken and appetizers to the table! Special Shout out to Sumera, the hostess everyday of the week, during lunch! Although the space is small and can get stuffy, it allows for a more personable and informal experience.

One of my biggest surprises in my recent adventures to Sugar Land was finding Naseeb, a seemingly…read moresmall and family owned Indian spot that has been around for many years. Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner. (#2) And fabulous sign that reads: "Delight in every bite, but waste not a single bite. - ChatGPT"

I usually make efforts to stop by whenever I'm in town to get my Gobi 65, poori, and mango juice. I…read moreadore the fried cauliflower. This past visit was incredibly crowded at around 2 pm on Sunday and the staff were overwhelmed. There were enough empty tables for everyone to be seated but it still took about 10 minutes. There were maybe 15 customers waiting. The paper wait list wasn't useful as there was no pen and there was no organized waiting in line so we were literally all standing disorganized trying to tell the waiter how many people in our party and you had to stand your ground. It also took a lot of effort to flag a waiter to order food. I'll probably try to come at off hours like usual next time. Food is consistently excellent, and based on the clientele, should be authentic.

I actually had an excellent experience here because I went at an off hour for dinner and the food was incredible. The one server that was running the floor was attentive and available (mind you, I was the only one). We had the mysore and regular masala dosa which were both crisp to perfection with the tastiest chutneys and sambar. 10/10. I had uthappam for the first time and chose the chili cheese option. It was phenomenal. Crisp caramelized bottom with a cheese pull on top. Like a South Indian pizza. The chilis def had a kick of spice. I would eat this again for sure! So delicious. The food was incredible. The restaurant was clean (again, I went at an off time for dinner). The service was great for me at least. However, as I was leaving, there was now 6-7 families and one server. I'm sure service wasn't as great for them so it varies!

It came with jasmine rice and I ordered a garlic naan to accompany the dish. As I said, the dish was good. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the paneer was above average. Unfortunately, the portions were small and I did NOT consider paying over $20 for what you see in the pictures a value for my money. This is one of my favorite dishes. I've had this dish hundreds of times over the past 30 years. I found the paneer a tad bit spicier than I like, and it led me to wonder was that a mask to cover some deficiency. I sampled the dish prior to leaving and noted. Something was missing regarding the flavor profile. Unfortunately, I can't identify the missing ingredient.(s). I called and placed my order and it was ready at the time quoted. I was promptly greeted when I entered the restaurant. In my opinion this restaurant does not offer value to the prices they charge and servings offered. GN3

The restaurant felt very clean (something you can't always expect at an Indian restaurant). Service was friendly. However, I thought the food flavor was just average. We tried the gobi manchurian, pakoras, and masala dosa. The masala dosa filling and chutneys were on the plain/milder end. I enjoyed the pakoras but the gobi manchurian flavor was too sweet for my taste.
