Update! They have become completely vegetarian. They are no longer serving meat items. But you can sub items with tofu for some protein.

I would give this place 3.5, but bumping up to 4 since food was absolutely delicious but there's areas needing improvement for sure We got paneer tikka masala which was so delicious, probably my favorite stew/broth I've ever tried in terms of tikka masala and that includes Aga's and others!!! Love how it was sweet, hearty, flavorful, and a hint of hot. Such a rich flavor and cheese was cooked well. Only complaint is they didn't give us that much paneer... it was a lot of vegetables instead. Also we asked for medium and it was hardly spicy The pani puri was absolutely scrumptious- you have mild/mellow water, sweet heat sauce, and earthy and zesty from the potatoes. It's a dish I would recommend to anyone. The naan was good but don't think the rosemary was added in the most harmonious way too mix with the naan The vibe inside was so cute, modern, and artsy. The service was very ok- the server seemed pretty impartial to us Water was interesting, we started off with splitting a whole 8 oz water bottle between two people. Thankfully refills were free but that was odd

This place is a food heaven. I have been to this place multiple times and have tried almost all their items on the menu. Loved each and every item more than the other especially chole bhature, dahi puri and raj chowri. Ambience is cozy and service is fast. Overall a great place to treat your taste buds. Kudos to the team for meeting and exceeding the expectations.

Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant decor is punchy, vivid, and beautifully painted. There is so much to look at while you're waiting for your food, which took a remarkably short time considering the Friday night crowd. Service was quick and pleasant. However, the servers seemed stressed--I hope it was just a busy night and the restaurant is normally staffed well. The best item we ordered, by far, was the Shaam Savera--spinach kofta stuffed with paneer. It was so soft and perfectly seasoned, and went so well with the naan. We'd never tried this curry before, and we will certainly be back for it. The rest of the food was well prepared but not to our taste. Paneer Biriyani was bland and seemed rushed, Dahi Vada was tasty but the vada itself was hard and bland, Gobi Manchurian was crispy but too sweet. Food was good, but for the price of $75 for four dishes, I wish the other dishes were as tasty as the first. :)

Such a neat concept - tonnes of Bollywood poster as motif and eventhe front part of a rickshaw (South Asia's tuk tuk) with customised license plate! I love Indian street food, espcially chaat and this place has pretty nice dishes for when I want a sit-down experience that a little eclectic! I recommend the chaat platter if you want to try a little bit of everything; it's got sweet and savory flavours, mixed with the creaminess of the yoghurt, and the crunchiness of all the toppings. I think this is a fun spot to get food from. Parking isn't a problem since it's in a strip mall of sorts with plenty of parking spots.

I'm shocked at how people are not blasting this spot all over social media. I had seen it posted once or twice and thought I'd try it out with a few cousins. This place is a bollywood themed, family owned Indian restaurant. The head chef and dad, Nirman actually designed all of the bollywood posters on the wall with the help of a graphic designer. We all ogled at how clever each of them were. The chaat and snack foods, drinks are very much worth it. The chaats you really cannot go wrong with at all. The presentation is absolutely out of control and the concept of "eating with my eyes" really shined here. I had actually never tried Kalkatta soda and I was shocked at how tasty it was. A brand in India, combined with a custom masala mixture. The butter paneer was amazing although could've used a little bit more paneer in it. The only thing that could be improved IMO is the rice. It was a little hard.

Not sure if the paneer (cheese) should be totally tasteless, but it was. I miss the chicken and the rice that used to come with the entree. The garlic naan fortunately did not change and was deliciou. The medium spice sauce was missing that "tang". Not sure why or when menu changed but i am bummed. Service was great!

Really pleasant experience. Reasonably priced, but a bit small in portion size, except the breads because the Naan and dosa were generous. The bread basket was ok. I would definitely a stick just to the garlic Naan in the future. The pav bhaji and butter chicken were both great tasting and thick. The chicken biryani had good taste, but the rice was a little old and stale tasting. The samosa chaat wasn't the flavor I was hoping for and the samosas were kinda small for the price. The Bombay sizzler had really good flavor at the bottom. But the large cubes of paneer were not that great. Overall, this is somewhere I'd def come to eat again, but maybe be a little picky about what to order. Great service all around and the food came so quick.

Masala dosa, butter chicken and saag paneer with a side of naan

Whenever I order Indian food, I usually get to eat it all by myself. No one else ever wants naan. Okay not really. We love Indian food at my household so we've been trying different restaurants all around town to find the best of the best. Hashing seen the rave reviews at Nirmanz, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the butter chicken, saag paneer and masala dosa. The butter chicken and saag paneer were pretty standard dishes. Both were packed with flavor, creamy and filling. The butter chicken had plenty of chicken and the saag paneer had plenty of paneer. The masala dosa had spiced potatoes with two dipping sauces and sambal. Since we did take out, the dosa wasn't crispy like it would be if we dined in. The serving sizes were very fair for the price! This served 3 of us with a little bit leftover (for some miraculous reason, Indian food tastes even better the next day). Nirmanz definitely served us a good meal, but it was nothing exceptional. It did feed the craving of Indian cuisine, and I would recommend trying it out for yourself!

Good customer service Food was average The flavors weren't as robust as I expect for Indian food. It was kinda like fast food Indian food... Not terrible but not amazing

Very awesome Indian restaurant with delicious food/chaat/desserts and also in a very stylish/trendy Bollywood setting (replete with movie posters, murals and a rickshaw). Their naan, lamb curry, basmati rice and golub jaman are all great as well. Definitely a must-experience Indian joint in Houston.

Takeout lamb korma and butter chicken.

I was scrolling through grub hub, looking for dinner, when I came across Nirmanz. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a 25% off promo for first orders. I had this restaurant on my radar for a couple of months, so I had to give it a try. I got butter chicken and lamb korma. As soon as I received my order, I could smell the nice aromas. But, when I reached in and pulled out my order, I instantly felt UTTERLY DISRESPECTED. Two small Wendy's chili sized cups of curry and two small rice cups. The rice was fine, but we're talking an $18 curry, and a $16 curry. Like, ain't no way they were serious!!! I actually had a leftover AGA's curry takeout container in my fridge, washed it and dumped my Nirmanz butter chicken in the container to compare. It barely filled half way. The butter chicken was okay, as was the korma. The few little morsels of lamb were tended. Honestly, though, it wasn't ANYTHING extraordinary. My main complaint is the small amount and price for just okay food. At first, I thought maybe they gave me such small portions because I used a PROMO code. But, looking through reviews, others have complaints about the portions. It was an overall disappointment.

Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner.
