Delicious Kashmiri chai! The chai is served steaming hot and so I had to wait what felt like 10 min for it to cool off but it's so worth it. The pistachios and flavor bend are sweet and the chai has a unique blend of spices which are truly harmonious together. Have also tried their chicken mayo garlic roll which is a paratha roll stuffed w pieces of spiced chicken garlic and lots of saucy mayo. This is quite spicy so beware. I love how Houston has a chai truck. It's a unique concept, definitely something I have not seen in Houston. But I can also see this being problematic when there's a long line. At least you know your tea will be freshly made. The iced chai wasn't too sweet and tasted very refreshing, especially during a hot evening. I never had kashmiri chai before but my gawed, It was amazing! 06/30- We literally went back next day for their chai! Our kids screamed for nutella paratha and we gave their bun kabab a try. Im really picky about bun kabab and this was good! Bun kabab tho is simple it requires exact measures of all ingredients. So yaay! Definitely our spot now! 06/29- We got the nutella paratha, garlic mayo roll, chicken chutney roll and masala chai. We wanted a good chai tea after a delicious Indian dinner and found this place on Yelp. We didn't think it existed because the street was dark with mostly closed businesses due to the late hour. It seemed a bit sketchy, but then we saw the food truck. At first, we considered just driving because it looked so vacant and we were a bit concerned of getting robbed on such a secluded area. But then I saw the lone guy in the truck so I had to stop. We ordered a masala chai and one kashmiri chai. Both items are freshly made so expect a bit of a wait. I can't imagine the wait when it's busy during the day. However the wait was worth it. Both were delicious and tasted vastly different with lots of flavor, spice and a tad of sweetness. The masala chai is your chai that most are used to however the kashmiri chai has a pink hue and topped with pistachio nuts. The best chai teas ever! I love chai tea but most places don't brew them fresh, instead using pre made cartons of chai tea and just heating it up, so I'm glad there's an option for fresh chai tea. I just hope it moves to better location especially for those wanting a chai fix at night. read more

This place is legit! My husband and I have been trying to go here during our random trips to Houston for a while now, and we were finally able to try it yesterday. Despite the somewhat inconvenient hours it was worth the wait! My husband got the anday wala bun kebab and we both tried the masala chais. It was the first time either of us have tried any kind of bun kebab and we were both pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was very flavorful and left us wanting to get at least three or four of them! It included a tamarind chutney, veg patty, and a thin omelet which I think made the bun kebab very tasty. Our chais were bomb too they had a very unique spice blend and had the perfect level of sweetness. I hope this place continues to operate and eventually expands its hours of business because we would love to visit often. read more

This place was soo good. Amazing. i got the Chicken Mayo Roll, and it was so good! The sauce was amazing, it had onions and chicken in it. The price was bit pricy considering that it was just a chicken roll, i wish it came with fries but it was worth it. I will come back and try other things. First time I went to the Houston location after visiting the original one in Austin. I had to drive around to the back of Cafe Yasmin's parking lot and I eventually found the truck. My friend and I ordered Masala Chai which was about $3 a cup. The gentleman who ran the food truck told us that they also had Bun Kababs as a special this weekend. We stuck with just the chai and when it was time to pay, my friend was like "no no I got it, it's your birthday!" The gentleman overheard us arguing and was like "oh it's your birthday? The chai is on me!" He gave me a free cup even though I politely refused and said it was no big deal. Exceptional service, great chai as usual! Tried this place a few weeks ago, again it's a food truck. Food is pretty awesome though! Literally our whole family (grandparents to kids age 5) loved the food. If you go there, make sure to try their Nutella paratha- it is delicious! Also, Kashmiri chai is 10/10. read more

Went there earlier today. They were out of shermaal, paratha AND sugar. We bought chai to bring home and add sugar, but the chai itself didn't look OR taste good. Visited there after reading good reviews, but was highly disappointed and will not be making a special trip from the opposite side of the city for their chai.
