When I first noticed this new Indian spot on Yelp I didn't realize it occupied the same location as…read morea very good Polish spot. In spite of good reviews and a second change in decor, that business was not able to survive very long. As I walked in to pick up my order I had mixed feelings. Sad about the fact that another very good and unique European restaurant was gone, and wondering about the future success of the new business. I noticed that the place had been painted and redecorated once again . This I guess could be called an Indian fusion house, offering many common dishes along with some I had not heard of. They also have Indo Chinese options. My first visit was so good that I thought I would return once more before reviewing. I tried the garlic naan and aloo paratha, both good to very good. The paratha was very thin and had a delicately spiced potato mixture inside, I wished there was more filling but enjoyed as it was. The chicken 65 tasted very good, but had too much sauce as I would have preferred the pieces of meat to be crispy. Chicken Radha was a rustic curry with about half of a bone in chicken. I loved this dish and the portion was 2 meals. Chicken biryani was equally tasty and came with very good raita. Chicken Manchow soup was new to me, think hot and sour soup and then add copious amounts of ginger and garlic. You have to like garlic to appreciate this soup, and I do and did! Service was friendly on both visits and orders were packed up very well, with additional onion, lime and peppers for the biryani and crispy noodles to top the soup with. A good friend went to dine in and had a great meal too, taking advantage of the all you can eat lunch Thali. I'm at about 4.5 stars for now....

Overall Ratings: Restaurant 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Parking Free Atmosphere: The restaurant is very nicely decorated, clean, and open. Service: Our server was very friendly, answered all of our questions with professionalism, and came by a couple of times to make sure we were doing well and that our water was topped off. What We Ordered: (The menu is quite extensive with many items to try.) -Punjabi Samosa (Very good with just the right amount of spice. The dipping sauces were a great addition.) -Goat Biryani (The portion was very generous and it was delicious.) -Butter Chicken (It was good but could have been better. The chicken was just cut-up Tandoori chicken, and I would have preferred fresh chicken.) -Mango Lassi (It was good and refreshing.) Final Thoughts: I would definitely go again. The food we tried was very good, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly.

We were excited to find this new Indian restaurant in a small strip mall. Tucked away in the corner…read moreyou could just drive past and not see it. Thank goodness for Google Maps and Yelp! The staff was helpful and attentive. The owner came by and spoke to us for a while - he has experience cooking various cuisines besides Indian, and has worked on cruise ships. Their specialty is in South Indian cuisine and they've been in business for 6 months. The garlic naan was thin and crispy, different than the thicker, breadier naan we usually see. The flavor on the chicken tikka masala was outstanding. We liked the lentil spinach dish, low flavor but more natural tasting. Very reasonable prices too! We had the rosemilk, asked for no added sugar. A great find and we will be back. Love supporting local businesses!

They quickly cleaned off a table that had just left and we were seated in a few minutes. We ordered Malai kofta, kal dosa with chicken curry, bone in chicken biryani, garlic naan and Gobi 65 as an app to start. The cauliflower came out very fast, perfectly crispy and nicely seasoned. I was surprised that no raita or other sauce came with, honestly it was still probably the best I've had. The kofta was delicious as well, the sauce was sweet, savory and creamy. The biryani was done well too, not crazy spicy but enough for myself and my companions. Chicken was fall off the bone. The garlic naan was good, thinner version. My favorite dish was the kal dosa. This is a smaller dosa that only gets cooked on one side, making it thicker and more pliable for gathering up food and sauce. I loved the curry it came with and also the dosa. I had planned on taking out from here a few days prior to the visit, and will definitely go back soon for that purpose. Service was just ok. Maybe because they were slammed when we first walked in, but things calmed and we were still not attended to without having to get someones attention. With that being said, this may become my fav Indian restaurant in the area, let's say 4.5 Yelps for now.....

The inside is small but there are plenty of seats to go with your family and enjoy a meal. The service is relatively fast and the guys behind the counter are super nice. We came on Wednesday evening during Dosa night hours so they had half off on dosa, and man the dosa was delicious. Pro tip: ask for Pua (bread) on the side with your dosa. That is a game changer. The chaats were a bit expensive but their flavor and presentation fast make up for it. This spot has become my new favorite to enjoy chaat! If you're ever in the area shopping at Costco, and crave chaat or dosa. Definitely walk on over to Indian Hut.

We ordered from Indian Hut through GrubHub on one of those nights when nobody wanted to cook and hapiness seemed balanced entirely on whether or not naan would arrive warm. My wife got butter chicken because some people discover a thing they love and wisely refuse to gamble with happiness. It was genuinely good. Rich, comforting, sweet in the proper way. The sort of dish that makes you sit quietly for a moment and forgive the world for inventing email. I ordered the malai kofta. The sauce was lovely, silky and fragrant, but the kofta itself had the texture of damp gravel held together by optimism. Gritty and loosely packed. Every bite felt like it had been assembled during a minor labor dispute. Then came the revelation that neither entrée included rice, it was an add on. This struck me as somewhat unsettling. Serving Indian curries without rice feels like giving someone a violin without strings. Yes, technically the object exists, but now everybody is sad and confused. The naan also didn't rescue the evening. It emerged from it's foil cocoon gummy and tired, like it had already lived a long and difficult life before reaching our doorstep. The tragedy here is geographic. Lawrenceville and the surrounding area are overflowing with excellent Indian restaurants. Places where the spices sing hymns and the bread seems blessed by small and benevolent gods. Against that competition, this meal just sort of sat there under the kitchen light wondering what happened. Not terrible. Not memorable. Just one more delivery bag entering the great American night.
