Really bad, expensive ! Flippant attitude from girl talking my order and money ! I will not be returning to this place

We've gotten takeout here a few times... tonight we were disgustingly disappointed. We've been trying to support local small businesses during the pandemic and I can promise we will never be customers here again. I called to complain that our garlic bread was burnt & practically inedible & our order of chicken fingers was pretty pathetic, not to mention our pizza was missing a topping. Didn't get an appropriate response form their staff at all. Got offered a store credit.... if my food is this disappointing and cold at delivery I'd rather just have a refund. Ordered tonight (Wednesday) for pickup. First, employee who was responsible for pickups wasn't wearing a mask. Second, we ordered 4 entrees and they completely left out an entree! When we got home and realized this, we called to let them know and they made us wait on the phone for 9 minutes. We had to hang up and call again to get someone to assist us. Throughout all of this, we got a half-a$$ apology. We drove to pick up the forgotten entree, still no mask in sight, and barely an apology for making us return to pick up the order they forgot. We even tipped them $10 for the takeout. We try to be understanding with what's going during Covid and support local business but between the mess up and attitude, we won't be returning. read more

Fantastic!! Went with a group of friends, had dinner with BYOB. The food was excellent ranging from apps to pizza to entree's. All food and flavors were top notch! Enjoyed the Desiderio's of years past, and happy to see it back. Will be returning in the near future. Love the pizza ala vodka!!! Placed order online on their website. I got to pizza place and they asked for my name. They said we don't have any orders by that name. So I asked if there is a sister restraunt maybe I ordered somewhere else. She said she needed to see my order. I pulled it up and they said oh yeah that's this place. She said are you with door dash. No I am s person who ordered on your website! They need to get there stuff together! Online orders should be sent to them this is not hard. Very rude as I went through this process. Then 1 pizza out of 2 was ready 5 min before the second one. She put my one pizza on counter not leaving it on top of oven to keep warm. We won't go back abc pizza was just sub par nothing to write home about. read more

My Wife and I have been fans of Desiderios for years and are even more grateful now that they continue to serve their community during this pandemic. They are always fast and friendly, and their pizza, subs and fried calamari are THE best in the area. The owner Steve always goes out of his way to say hi to his patrons and make sure you're satisfied with your order. Can't say enough good things about this place!! Thank you for bringing great Italian food to Washington! Can't wait until the Tavern reopens as well! read more

extremely disappointed with the owner of this establishment. I hadn't tried it yet and honestly was hesitant due to two awful experiences with the stone tavern location, but decided I would give it a shot and support local during the pandemic. I ordered $85 worth of food for 4 people last week around 8:45 on doordash, they accept orders until 9pm and since we still have a member of the house working I wanted the food to be as fresh as possible for when he got home. the order was accepted and confirmed via email. the order was supposed to be delivered by 9:50, but 10 came and went and still no food so I contacted the dasher who was supposed to bring it. he drove 30 minutes all the way from flemington to bring me my food and when he arrived at the restaurant it was dark and locked up, completely closed. he managed to get in touch with the owner and the owner claimed that he had canceled the order, but neither the dasher nor myself ever got a cancellation from him and when I contacted door dash they said it hadn't been canceled on their end either and had to call the restaurant to confirm it was closed just to give me my money back. if I hadn't complained the owner would've made $85 for nothing, really not cool! so now after two lackluster experiences at stone tavern and now this, I'm dismayed to report I won't ever buy from them again. read more
