I really enjoyed it. I gotta say, the prior pictures, descriptions, and accounts don't give them enough credit. The cheese slice was plenty crispy and had a pretty good flavor. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it at all. The Sicilian was also nice and crispy on the bottom and lots of cheese. If I had one complaint it is that the Sicilian only had stripes of sauce on the top (none below the cheese) and, as you can see in the photo, those stripes were pretty thin so could have used much, much more sauce on that. What little sauce there was tasted pretty good. Again, maybe they are benefitting from lower expectations on old reviews but I found it pretty good for getting a slice locally. read more

Ordered takeout delivery. Was told it would be 40 minutes. Over an hour later no food. Another 20 minutes later still no food. Finally food arrived but it was the wrong food. When we called we were told there was nothing they could do to fix the suggestion or to credit back the charge ... Would not recommend Ordering takeout for delivery ... Got the whole cheesesteak with onions,pepper, mushrooms. Order of fries. And a slice of pepperoni pizza. Cheesesteak was huge but incredibly under seasoned. Very bland. I def do not recommend this sandwich from here. Couldn't finish it. Fries were also very bland. Hot but you could taste the older oil. I came by at around 11am. The pepperoni pizza however was good. Crispy and decently flavorful. Crust was on the thinner side which I personally prefer. Well balanced between the sauce and cheese. Would not order anything else on the menu apart from the pizza. read more

Smh so good I was half done before taking a picture lol. I got the buffalo chicken slice of pizza, my guy got the veggie and hamburger slice of pizza and it was good. It was thin crust pizza and not burnt which is rare. The customer service was amazing and a nice and clean sit down area for more than 30 people. Great location coming from spruce run Park. Will come again. Specialty slice was I think $4.25 .. menu prices was good too. read more

Best pizza in the area by far, so good that I travel from Oxford to get it. The owner Frank is a great guy as well, and he always makes sure that his customers are happy. When inside you get the traditional feel for a hometown pizzeria and it's always a great atmosphere. Whoever says this pizza sucks must think that DiGiorno is a good meal. I highly recommend ordering from this pizzeria read more

This pizza was absolutely scrumptious!! I only intended to go in to get a drink, but the array of pizza slices was calling my name and I couldn't refuse. Everyday is a good day for pizza. I saw one that looked like penne vodka pizza, but it was ziti pizza...I had to try it. The staff was very nice and I just took the slice to go. It was delicious. Great blend of flavors. I would love to go back and try more of their speciality pizzas. Yum! read more

It's my first time here and the last time. I ordered chicken Marsala with angel hair and it comes with salad, which the salad was brown to begin with, they got me a new one after I mentioned it. The chicken was probably precooked and has a taste of egg washed. Utensils were wrap with napkins but the forks and knives was dirty. My bf had a meatball Sandwich, meatball was frozen and sauce is not fresh at all. Two sodas along with this meal and it was $38, which I don't think it worthy at all. This place is sad, lights are dim. My dinner was a disaster and I won't be back at all. read more

I remember going there when I was much younger. It's been decades but still serves decent pizza. They have one of the best pizza from memory and again confirmed. I was traveling this area around dinner time hungry in the middle of snowstorm driving on RT78 back from PA. I was hoping for this place to opened, recalled from the memory of the past that this place exists, and I was happy to see this place still here. They had all kinds of pizza on the counter as well as a long list of menu items on the board. We decided to order tons of individual slices(it probably costed more, but each of us got to choose what each wanted to eat). Then we got fountain drinks. Save yourself the money and time, head down the road to any other pizzeria or even McDonalds. The food is trash, the menu lists no prices (sketchy much??), and the environment is only welcoming if you love MAGA-ish. Bottom line, owner is a jerk, employees look more interested in Pokeman than service industry standards and the prices are way too high for store bought frozen ingredients served in school cafeterias. Pass it up, shut it down and hit the Walgreens across the street for same level of low caliber food options. Yuck!! read more

I stopped here on my way to visit my parents after landing at the Newark airport. Despite being chosen because of its convenient location right off of the 78, this place was absolutely what I needed after a long flight. The place had a few customers but was generally quiet and there was a Christmas movie (The Santa Clause!) playing on the tv. Pizza was available by the slice - I ordered at the counter and they heated up the slices and brought them out to a table. I got the cheese pizza (I'm vegetarian) and it was delicious! Nice thin, crunchy crust. Overall this place was super low-key and chill but had great pizza and friendly staff. Will stop there again next time I'm passing through the area. read more

This review is more on the delivery than the Pizza shop itself. I ordered on the Slice app as I just moved to Annandale and wanted to try my local pizza places. The order came within 30 minutes. I ordered a large pepperoni pie. The delivery was supposed to be touchless so the delivery person just dropped my pizza box on the floor in front on my door and not on the mat that I specifically requested they do. I open the box and all the cheese and pepperoni were all in one corner of the box from being dropped on the ground. See photo! I was very disappointed at the carelessness of the delivery person. Worst pizza in the area. So chewy and doughy, sauce has no flavor. Also, the owner audibly talked shit about "PC culture" while I was leaving, after I said happy holidays. In this day and age, if he's still getting upset over that- I can't imagine how he treats anyone he perceives as different. TLDR: don't waste your money here read more

If you take Covid precautions seriously and want to avoid the anti-masker crowd, you may want to skip Dominick's. I've been a customer for years, and appreciated how the staff at Dominick's consistently wore masks during 2020, but the vibe has shifted noticeably in recent months. On my last few trips to pick up takeout, all staff and dining patrons were unmasked. As the only masked person in the establishment, I was surprised to notice unfriendly looks, whispering and stares. There are several other pizza places in town that may have a mix of masked/unmasked clientele, but don't have the same unwelcoming atmosphere. I'll be heading to Lenny's or Toscana from now on. read more

So I gave this place another try and again it was a disappointment. I ordered a lunch cheesesteak. It was okay, a little bland. And I ordered a lunch serving of stuffed shells. I ordered online and had it delivered. The online menu says the stuffed shells is 5 pieces. I got 3 shells. And they also were bland. I will he ordering from Lenny's or Jerzee's from now on. read more

My Mom has been going here her whole life. She orders a mushroom pizza with extra sauce and sometimes a plain too every single week - sometimes pick up sometimes delivery. The pizza is always great. The calzones and strombolis are good too. Delivery has always been within the timeframe they've stated. I'm sure it can be difficult on a busy Friday night at dinner time. We try to avoid that if we're in a rush. read more

So far very good. Today's pie is our third order here. It was balanced in flavor. Medium crisp. The one negative is I think $20 for a 16" large margarita pie is on the high side. I'll be back the pie is better than others in the area. read more

Good pizza. I had two slices -- one margherita and one pesto & tomato. The margherita was exactly right -- nice sauce, not too much fresh mozzarella, and plenty of fresh basil. The pesto slice was a little too cheesy and the tomatoes were a little underripe, but it still delicious. The staff is friendly and the place is clearly popular with the locals with lots of banter between the staff and customers. read more

I have been ordering for years (7 years) from Dom's, but recently they have messed-up an order Order number 630743701 for January 13, 2023.. I order linguini with one dish and Gnocchi Al Pesto and only got penne pasta for the Gnocchi dinner. I reach out to them via their web site, but no response. This is not the first time the pasta was not correct... not a big deal, but I paid for Gnocchi's and did not get any... plus no response. I will shop elsewhere in town read more

Dominics isn't the cheapest but it's a pretty good value... Been getting specialty pizza lately and have been very pleased. It's not the least expensive but a nice change over the mass marketed pizza franchises.. Dominics pizza is more substantial . I've phoned them a number of times and they've always been very accommodating with ingredients, delivery and pickup issues... What a great experience from beginning to end! We ordered delivery. Phone answered quick and cheerfully. Order arrived exactly on time. Driver was awesome and also in a great mood. The pizza was great! The garlic knots need their own paragraph. Perfect. Real chopped cloves, little bit of unsalted butter or olive oil (?), FLUFFY FLUFFY FLUFFY. Perfect. Hello, called ahead to Dominick's pizza tonight to order a plain large cheese pie. When I got there, they pulled a pie from under the counter. I mentioned to the girl that I wanted a fresh made pie. She said that it was. But that turned out to be a absolute total lie. The old pizza was re-heated and served to me: visibly old, warm, and completely awful. Diarrhea ensued after eating just one slice of Dominick's trash. My son's friend said that they have rats in the basement. I had previously dismissed that as teen talk...but now, I'm thinking they probably do. The worker there asked how the pizza was and I told it it wasn't good. She actually just ignored my answer...why did she bother to ask? read more

I have tried all the pizzas in the local area and this has to be the best in Clinton and nearby. The pizza crust is not thick, the sauce is zesty and they put the right about of cheese and sauce on it. You cant go wrong with the various toppings. For now if you are looking for a pizza this is the best place to go. The Jalapeno poppers are great too. The garlic knots I would not get as they were bland. read more

Great family run establishment. Terrific to the community. In fact, Dominicks makes subs for the North Hunterdon high school baseball teams for all of their away games at a very low cost. They do it because they care and want to give back! Great people and great food! read more

We live in Clinton Twp and The Clinton House was top of the list to visit. Appetizers: crab cake and portobello fries. Crab cake was excellent, all crab, no filler, loved the sauce. Portobello fries were fine, a little dry, but good sauce. Entrees: My husband got the French dip sandwich which I tried..it was okay. Definitely not bad but nothing special. Where the food really fell short was my entree. I got the shrimp and scallop risotto special. It came with two shrimp and "four" scallops, which was two scallops cut horizontally prior to cooking and seared. Scallops were complete rubber and tasted like ammonia, and the shrimp were extremely overcooked. The risotto itself was tasty and I would have it again, but for $40 it was not an acceptable dish. Our waitress was not rude, but not particularly friendly. We loved the vibe and decor of the restaurant, and other staff we interacted with were pleasant. I would not return here based on food quality and price point. I think the establishment is historic and beautiful, but could be improved greatly.
