1 Star - Overpriced Service & Zero Flexibility! BEWARE!!! Please know exactly what color you want before coming here--because if you don't like it (even the next day), this salon will make you pay for a polish change. Most nail salons will fix or change polish within the first week (some, like The Golden Hour, even allow two weeks). I normally stick to what I know, but my very sweet nail tech suggested trying something different. I gave it a chance, even slept on it, but the color just didn't look good on me. I reached out to her directly--she responded right away and explained the salon policy. I wasn't upset with her at all. My husband then called management to see if they'd work with us, but we were told this is "their policy and will not change." For context: * Appointment was 10/4 at 6PM (they closed at 7). * We called back on 10/5 at 1:30PM (they opened at 10). That's less than 5 business hours later--and still, no flexibility. On top of that, I was charged $70 for a Gel-X "fill" that was literally just a file, shape, gel, and chrome. No new tips, no designs. Before service I was told: $65 for any size Gel-X + $15 for chrome. The tech then suggested I just do a "fill" instead (since my nails were in good shape), but she never said it would be the same price as a brand-new set. Between the overpriced service and the refusal to fix or change anything--even within hours--this was an unfortunate and disappointing experience. I've been to many salons in different areas and have never encountered such rigid and unfriendly policies. If you're looking for quality, fairness, or convenience, I'd recommend going elsewhere. read more

I recently went and lady went to far into my cuticle on my big toe and it started hurting really bad the next day. It got to the point where the pain was super bad and my toe was red and swollen. I was seen by a doctor and was diagnosed with paryonchia infection(toe infection)... probably from nail tech going too far with my cuticles and used dirty materials and I got the infection that way. I'm VERY upset this place and will NEVER go back. I've never had such bad service and struggled so hard to get the nails that I wanted. I had gone back to the shop three days in a row because they had fucked them up the first time so I went back they fixed them then I had to go in the next day because a nail broke and then had to go back in another day because another nail broke mind you I have never had this issue at any other shop before and I literally hadn't even had these nails a week before they started breaking off. When I texted the manager because she gave me her number Miss Tina her response was well we don't do refunds. it is extremely upsetting that I had to show back up three different times and they still couldn't get it right not only that but I paid over $50 for a set that didn't even last a week. I would not recommend this place I have now got a new set from my place that I usually go to (Royal nails and spa) and they look fabulous!!! Once again would not recommend this place. It is really with an unhappy heart that I write this review. I've been going to this salon since for over 6 years (not during 2020, but even when I was living out of state and I visited, I'd come back because I really appreciate the people who work here and I think their is genuine talent in their nail techs.) My last two trips have had less than ideal results. I got a full set at the beginning of the month. They were beautiful, but the gel polish smeared and one of the acrylics started to lift in between fills. That sucked but I thought hey, things happen. On my more recent trip, one of the staff kind of got into a heated debate with a client about how her nails looked. That they were sloppy. And then leaving again over prices. I ended up having my set removed for various reasons not entirely unrelated. I did have regular gel put on, but I got a wicked splinter while being worked on. The gels look solid and so far no trouble, but my design on top looks like a little kid did it. I took a look around the salon and it's in rough shape in terms of appearance and unfortunately I think cleanliness. I know they took hard hits because of Covid-19 and I know they are burnt out and overworked. I wish them all the best, but I think I need a little bit of a break for now. read more

I requested a rather simple deep triangle French tip, and yes I know it would look different on longer nails as I was told by my tech a thousand times every time I tried to have her fix a crooked line, but a triangle is a triangle and it was more about that she couldn't do a straight line, she wasn't taking the color as deep as I tried to tell her multiple times, the edges are sloppy, and they had the audacity to charge me $50 even though they advertised as 35$ (because I was using two colors, who knows, I've used multiple colors at countless other salons and was never charged the $15 extra dollars on top of the $15 up charge for gel in the first place... they responded to my initial feedback via text message to come back and they will fix them but first off how embarrassing and secondly why would I trust the same person that couldn't do the job the first time to try again, especially when I asked her to fix them and she kept blaming the fact that I have short nails... does that look like it was worth $50? Been coming to this nail salon for the past 5-6years. I really like this place since is close to home and most of the nail techs are good. I came in today for a pedicure (and planning on getting a manicure). While I was getting my pedicure I've noticed that the clients were looking for paper towels to dry their hands, after they had washed their hands. The employees would tell the clients to use a "cloth looking rag" (that were inside a basket next to the faucet to dry their hands), since they don't use paper towels anymore. The clients would look grossed out and would just air dry their hands (I honestly would not use those "cloth looking rags" to dry my hands). So I just decided NOT to get a manicure. I hope the new owner/manager sees this. Since it looks like that is new management. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PAPER TOWELS BACK!!! So I could get manicures there again. Thank you!!! read more

Quality here isn't so great... I went here for a full set acrylic gel nail. They didn't do a great job at cleaning up the polish, did a horrible job on laying down the acrylic, and the paint feels bumpy. She also cut a chunk of skin off my thumb because she tried to clean up the dried overspill nail polish. However, she was really friendly and cleaned my cut and put Neosporin on it. I found this place when I first moved here and was staying with a relative on this side of town. Now even though i moved out of the area, I come back because I love my nail technician Phil. (No, there is never any confusion when calling in for an appt and they think I want a fill LOL!). This place has the best prices for the service you get. They always offer you a cold drink and friendly service. Phil does gel polish and manicures on my hands and regular polish and pedis on my feet. He is friendly and fun to talk to while he works. We almost have a love/hate relationship as he is sarcastic and playful just like me, and we banter back and forth. The only thing I don't like is I haven't found a chic in the shop that can do a good design on my toe after Phil is done, and he self admits that he has no skills in this area. If possible try to come in on Tues-Thur, because weekends are super busy! Either way, I will continue to drive across town for this place. read more

These are my nails after almost 6 days post gel manicure and this was after I spent most of my time correcting her work, and her getting highly offended, because I did not want half of my nail exposed when I was paying for them to paint a full nail. This used to be my go to place. I would always come here for a pedicure. Today while I was getting my pedicure the lady who was assisting me removed an "ingrown" nail. It hurt so bad, I started bleeding & I believe she added alcohol which made the pain worse. She rushed the service my toes were not painted correctly. I started to feel nauseous from the pain from her removing part of my nail. I did not get her name but she usually sits in the second row in the middle seat. I went here this past week with my boyfriend and his mom for pedicures as a treat as him and I were visiting from out of town. We were all seated at the same time in the pedicure chairs and they started on my bf and his mom right away (that doesn't bother me, I can wait) then about 15 minutes later someone comes to start my pedicure. She finishes at the same time as the other two techs which means 15 mins less was spent on my pedi. It also didn't include a massage or anything. Normally I am not too picky...but with all the other options in the area I will pick somewhere different next time I'm in town. I didn't feel like I got a good pedicure for the amount paid ($25 so average amount) and didn't feel relaxed or anything after my 15 minute pedicure. read more

The pedicure is 30$ not bad when everywhere else charges more for a basic pedicure . It does look kinda outdated but never been much for fancy fancy nail salons . As long as you do a good job I don't care it's not fancy . I personally really like Lani and Mindy they are very kind and good at their job . I usually stick with the same ppl when I go there so I've never really had any issues , I hate when people try and push me to get extra things done . These ladies are not pushy , but they do make little suggestions. Anyway , everyone seems pretty chill and quick so I'm never there too long . Always welcoming here specially the man who greets everyone always with a happy , uplifting mood . That's always nice instead of walking in and people ignoring you like they do in some salon . I got my nails and eyelashes done here. My nails turned out okay but my eyelashes a re terrible. The woman that did my eyelash extensions didn't glue the lashes carefully at all. She put strip lashes so closely to my lash line, I constantly felt itchy and couldn't see. There was so much glue that it felt like it was scratching my eye every time I blinked and anytime I closed them, there was pinching. I would not get eyelashes done here. read more
