Great bakery with a wide selection of yummy eats that would satisfy any sweet tooth. Most donuts are larger than grocery store donuts and costs about $2.50 each. Come early for a better selection. Top Pot, Frost...have NOTHING on this place. "How so" you may ask? Well first off selection. I don't know how many time's I've been to the afore mentioned and selections were minimal or completely out of what I REALLY wanted. So all you get is "Sorry" or the excuse that they are made fresh daily so that's why they don't have a lot on hand. On the other hand, Despi is also made fresh daily, you can see the kitchen/bakery in the back and their selection is "TOPS". So much so I go in there with one thing in mind, see their other offerings, can't make up my mind, change my mind and in the end walk out with more than I originally came in for. This has happened to me more than once. Second, it's a bakery so not just donuts, but cookies, bread, bakery desserts, cakes....good God man! I ordered a Ube Cheesecake for my wife's birthday there, good damn cake BTW, I've had their ensaymada (Filipino baked dessert), though not as good as my dad's was, I'd get it again and again. Oh and how about Ube filled bismark (I like ube, can you tell?). Absolutely one of the best bakeries I've been too. Their desserts are large and literally melt in your mouth. They also have the best prices I've seen! This is my favorite bakery in Washington. However I was here on Saturday and I noticed that none of the customers coming out of the store had parked in the lot, all had to park on the street and at times had to wait for each other to leave. I asked while I was buying my donuts if the manager was aware that the staff were taking up every spot. The woman's reply was that "that's just the way it is". I felt this was terrible customer service, I've never worked for a place that encouraged employees to take up the customer spots. Hoping a manager or higher up will contact me about this. I Stopped by on a Friday, just after noon. They still had s good selection of great looking baked goods. I decided on a slice of tiramisu, a chocolate bar and a large round cherry "danish." I couldn't tell for sure what the cherry thing was, but the staff called it a danish. Turned out it's a donut with out a hole with cherry pie filling on top; not a danish. There were some stunning macaroons bin the counter, but I didn't try them, but they looked lovely. I haven't tried the tiramisu yet. This is an absolute grand donut shop. Just a fair warning. Their donuts are very large. The twis I normally get is at least twice if not 3 times the size of normal ones. Love thier Apple Fritters. You get real apple and lots of it in their fritters, not just a small piece like other bakeries. Only down side, they keep putting powder on their jelly donuts. I do not like powder. I wish they offered them without, especially the lemon. Also the Lemon is weekends only. You can get them without powder, but you have to call ahead and get at least a 1/2 dozen. if they changed that it would be perfection. read more

We love this bakery. Lots of variety of doughnuts and other desserts. My daughter loves that she gets a doughnut topped with more treats. Had one of the best peanut butter brownies I've ever tasted. I've just returned from my second visit and I am so in love with this bakery. Not only does it have a wonderful selection, but it also offers a variety of styles so you're sure to find something you'll like. On my first early morning visit I came home with four Instagram worthy adorned donuts with toppings like strawberry cheesecake and S'mores. Today I came home with two smaller cake slices, one Black Forrest and the other Mango Cheesecake. So far all of the things I've tried have been a little over the top but they have delicious looking standard offerings like classic donuts, cookies, tarts, and cakes. Next time I visit I'll have to try some of their bread or rolls and I was really happy to see they have the sliced ube bread I've always loved too. Even better than the selection is the staff. If you think the baked goods are sweet, the people are even sweeter. The service is excellent and a little personable banter while I try to make up my mind is always nice. There does appear to be a parking lot adjacent to the bakery, which is a little easier to park in than on the street, but both are a tad bit difficult to exit when traffic on Broadway is busy. During these times its sad to give poor review ratings, but I feel its necessary to share when a place of business provides this level of work. We will start with the mousse cup that was inedible. The taste of some sort of chemical was so strong it had to be thrown out. Its hard to describe but its really bad. Then the tiramisu they brought out from the back. Please look at photo of the craftsmanship they boxed up like we would not notice. My advise to you is Please open the box before you leave. This is a bakery right off the exit of Broadway in Everett. The decor is super cute, surrounded interior with succulent plants and positive motivations. This place has lots of options from cakes, cheesecakes, bread, crosswinds, bagels, bread, savory pastries and donuts. The customer service is excellent! Both Cinnamon Roll Ube were way undercooked. The first bite was fine but then the second was full of gooey uncooked dough and the ube center flowed out. Had to throw away both rolls. The coffee roll which came pre-boxed from the refrigerated case behind the counter was old. The color of the frosting was not as rich brown as the ones in the display case. Cutting into it, the frosting in the roll was 2-toned, part of it was yellow (old frosting) while the rest was cream colored. Neither the cake, inside roll frosting, nor the outer buttercream tasted of coffee. It didn't have any flavor at all and it smelled like cardboard! I threw away the $10 coffee roll because it had no redeeming quality and I was embarrassed to serve it. The Spanish bread was fine. The apple fritter was okay (2 for 1). I paid $20 for my baked goods and $15 of it was not edible. read more

But this was our first custom cake order, a vegan cake with a company color scheme. Told them to do bakers choice. Let me tell you, I never thought I would say a vegan cake was yummy but it was. This place is Divine! I had a raspberry filled powdered pastry that was amazing. The filling was perfectly tart, and not super sweet. The pastry was flaky and chewy with a few crunchy edges. I like the desserts I buy at this bakery. The reason I'm giving it a lower rating is because you have to be very specific and precise with your order. When I ordered IN PERSON they missed several of the items I ordered. Even when looking at me straight in the eyes and confirming the items (that I went to the bakery for in the first place) they were not included in my order (which was super disappointing). My advice when going to this bakery is to inspect your order visually and make sure you have everything you ordered because if you are in a hurry like I was and trust that it's all there based on the conversation you have with staff while picking your treats, you might get home without the items you went there for. So far this has happened to me AND my boyfriend on two separate occasions. Otherwise, it's very popular and the treats are great! Cute, clean, and friendly staff. My only qualm with this bakery is the past 3 times I've went, there aren't any of the vegan donuts left. Even arriving right at open, they have been completely out of their cake donut mix. This is virtually the ONLY place in Everett that has vegan options for bakery, and surprisingly Everett has a very large vegan presence. The next closest place is PCC in Bothell which carries Mighty-O, and that is a good 20+ minute drive. I am hoping Despi recognizes this soon, as the woman at the counter did say that they can't barely keep up with the demand, and starts pumping out more sweet treats for the plant based people! :-) read more
