Love Devil Dawgs! Been a customer for about a year now and never have I had a bad experience. They used to be on postmastes plus for 2.99 delivery and I'm pretty sure people abused it (I definitely did) so they're not on postmastes plus anymore but that's not a big deal. Worth the walk/drive. The burgers are a bit small... probably between the size of a traditional one and a white castle, but it's very tasty. A nice little greaseball that you just inhale up. Pair that with a crunchy chicago hot dog and you're in business. It's a nice place to go to for a Chicago style hot dog, all the classic ingredients. I love coming to this location since it's not too far off the highway compared to the other location. My family loves hot dogs and overall it always hits the spot. The Chicago dog is solid, not my favorite compared to the many other hot dog places out there, but it hits the spot. If you like hot dogs then this place is a must try. There are so many type of dogs on the menu and they have burgers and more too. I wish I can try more things but this is my last night in Chicago so I decided to get a little more than I can eat. Jose Caliente Dog - this one has a 1/4 lb spicy dog and comes with pico de gallo, cucumber, and spicy sauce. Yum! I liked this one though not as much as the slaw. Chicago Dog - so I'm not usually a fan of Chicago style hot dogs. I'm not crazy about the green relish, huge wedges of tomatoes, and the celery salt. The sourness overpowers the frank. However, this is Chicago so I must give it a try! I only took a few bites cause I was full from the other dogs but this didn't make me change my mind about Chicago style hotdogs. Just not my cup of tea, nothing wrong with the dog. It actually tasted better than I thought. Onion rings - soggied from the delivery buy tasted good. Right around the corner from our hotel, we were craving hot dogs but didn't feel like trekking to Portillos. I don't have much experience in Chicago style hot dogs but this was damn good! I got the polish dog with grilled onions, ketchup and mustard. The grilled onions were slightly crispy (just the way I like it!). We also got onion rings and fries. The onion rings had a very good ratio of onion to batter (and was not breaded, thank god!). I also got a dark chocolate ghiradelli milkshake. The other star of the meal was the milk shake, they do have a good selection of flavors, all the standards, an Oreo, and my personal favorite the Latin Beat, it's Chocolate with Ancho Chile, think something that tastes like a Mexican Hot Chocolate but it's an ice cold shake. It's not fancy, you order in a line, and the "dining area" is very limited and often disheveled if you arrive after 10pm due to this place being so popular with the college/drinking crowd. That is for good reason though...easily some of the best drunk food I've had. The dawgs are great, but the chicken sandwich (clucker) and the burger were the real standouts for me. I think I ordered around $40 worth of food the last time I was there. They also have large bags of fresh onion rings and fries that are worth the calories if you're feeling like really giving your cholesterol a run for the money.
