From…read moreRichmond Hwy, made a right onto Colonial St as the gps guided me but where the location is pinned, it doesn't exist. So I continue on Colonial St, see a big parking garage that reads Rose Gaming Resort, went up the ramp and parked. I went into the elevator, took a guess and push down to the 1st floor. Well there it was .. the food court with multiple restaurants inside the resort in which didn't stated beforehand. In the lobby, there's 6 establishments on the 1st floor such as Crab Tastic, R' Burger, Mama Mia's Italian Kitchen, Southern Spin Kitchen, The Bar and Corner Store. But you have to check the listings as they do not open on the same days and hours. During Mondays-Wednesdays, you have to place your order at the Corner Store for Southern Spin Kitchen and R' Burger. There were 3 items: 1) Chicken and Waffle Sliders 2) Fried Chicken 3) Peach Cobbler. The sliders were unique, waffles were fluffy and chicken were crispy. You get 3 portions served with crispy fries and slaw but never received the slaw but everything was delicious. The fried chicken platter is served with two sides of choice (collard greens and mac n' cheese). Be careful with the first bite as the fried chicken is piping hot. The two sides are were delicious but the collard greens were too sweet for me. The peach cobbler was supposed to be à la mode in which the kitchen staff of SSK informed they ran out of ice cream. As I return to the cashier named Tasia F, I informed her of what SSK staff told me about the ice cream. With the assistance of another cashier named Allie, I was informed that cashier Tasia F went searching through other kitchens within the resort to see if ice cream was in stock. Unfortunately there wasn't any ice cream available which was okay. I wasn't expecting anything because I understand if supplies were short. But I had excellent service with these two cashiers who were friendly, genuine, knowledgeable and beyond customer service. I would make future visit to try other items on their menu as well as other establishments

We had to place our order at another counter (minimal staffing at all restaurants in the food court). The rotisserie chicken was pretty good, collard greens and baked beans are prepared with pork (fyi). Substitutions for chicken pieces are not allowed. My husband had the smothered pork chops which he really enjoyed. His only complaint was there wasn't as much gravy as he would've liked on the pork chop but instead was covered in a lot of mushrooms. We would definitely visit again!

This restaurant is family owned for a few decades and is one that survived the pandemic because of the loyalty of their patrons. This place has everything you need from a quick bite to a full blown multi course meal. If there is something special desired the owners will go out of their way to accommodate even if not on the menu. As for the staff, this restaurant has provided more work for the local high school population than any other. The turnover is minimal as most have been working here for many years which says a lot about the working environment. This is a beloved local establishment that gives back to the local community in many ways. It's a home away from home with good food, fairly priced menu options and an awesome ambiance. And I would put their wait staff up against the finest restaurants. What comes across is a sincerity to ensure your dining experience is something you want to repeat. I highly recommend a try if ever in the area.

First the positives: I ordered the Gyro with fries and really enjoyed it. Not the best Gyro I have ever had, but good. The other three members of my family ordered different chicken dishes and all three were bad. Overall they were very bland. Using a little seasoning during cooking goes a long way. The chicken on the dishes seemed boiled. I guess this is an easy way to get tender chicken, but man does it remove the flavor! My wife's chicken had tendon and grizzle through out. My daughter's Marsala was gross. Seemed to be a Jared gravy. The wait staff really should not be wearing jeans, especially since the dining room seems nice (except for the paper table cloths.). One of the waitresses had ugly tattoos which no one wants to see at a nice place like this. It's a shame. This place has potential, but the food and wait staff drag it down HARD.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant and I am glad we did. They offer a real nice variety. I believe they specialize in Italian and Mexican cuisine, but also offer Greek as well. So I joined them on Sunday to try the place out. First thing, oh wow, this place gets crowded on Sunday! Jam packed. However, once we got seated, service was polite, quick, and kinda extraordinary for a diner. Customer service was first-rate imho. As for the food, it's good. It's not the best diner food I've had, but it's certainly above average. Me and my friends first shared the gyro fries, which kinda blew me away. I've had loaded fries at many places, but giving it that gyro/Greek spin just made it pop with flavor. We also tried their vegetable of the day which was seasoned green beans which tasted excellent. Very addictive. For my own order, I got their breakfast combo. I probably shouldn't have as I could only finish half of it. I finished half of everything on it but there was way too much food for me to handle. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I think me and my friends will visit here when we can get together in Dumfries. My actual rating overall is 4 and 1/2 stars with 4 for food and 5 for service.

Yesterday morning we ordered Huevos Rancheros. They were ok but the menu said they would be served on black beans yet we're served on refried beans. Our Southwest Style was alright. There is an IHOP across the parking lot. Come her rather than IHOP but there is also. CFA across the parking lot. Coffee is better here. The food is okay here so far. The fantastic service from the one and only server holds up the three star rating on giving Quantico Bar & Grill as well as the fact that the server/bar tender last night was great. This morning they split one of the orders between 2 people beautifully. Last night we ordered Hummus as an appetizer. It was good. Soup of the day was shrimp & vegetable. Good too. We all ordered Pan Roasted Salmon for supper. Suprisingly good. Served with braised lentlils and steamed veggies. Everything at dinner rated almost a 4. The food at breakfast has rated around a 3... almost. Good coffee. Redundant? :) Honestly the 2 best things so far have been the fresh fruit cup at breakfast and the Ice cream and berries in the evenings for dessert. The Ice cream and berries were perfect! My mother said "This place is better than average even though our eggs weren't very good. The poached eggs were over cooked and sweet like they were cooked in Orange juice and the times that you get poached eggs prefect are like 1 in 10 anywhere. Anywhere you get poached eggs they are generally over cooked. The servers were very sweet. I would have given it a 4."... Second dinner here, Mediterranean salad was missing key ingredients of artichokes and roasted veggies. It still tasted good but was basically field greens, red onion, red peppers and feta with Italian dressing.

I hope management has a conversation with her about customer service. The usual warm, cozy, friendly, country ambiance did not match the service. Every time we asked for something--even something as simple as a larger table for our party--the answer was immediately "no." It always felt like we were inconveniencing her, and there was never any effort to accommodate reasonable requests. The biggest issue came when our steaks were not cooked as ordered. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, Teka responded, "We only have two chefs working, and if you want them remade, it will take a long time." Rather than showing empathy, she came across as argumentative whenever we had questions or concerns. Her facial expressions and body language made it clear that she was annoyed every time we asked for anything. No customer should feel unwelcome or like they're bothering their server for making reasonable requests. We understand that restaurants can be busy and short-staffed, but that's never an excuse for poor customer service. We hope management addresses this, because the service we received completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable dining experience.
