I guess we're just tired after our hikes and cycling that we didn't want to drive back down to Convict Lake. We finally made reservations for Thursday night at 5:30 PM and headed down. It's really only a 15 minute drive from Mammoth to enjoy dinner in a very lovely setting. We had reviewed the menu online before we came and already decided what we wanted. Unfortunately, they were out of both of those items. I server was Daniel and he was friendly and helpful in choosing other entrees. We split a Caesar salad, which was refreshing. For Andres, we ordered the venison and duck. My husband was worried about the venison, but Daniel assured him that he would find it very tender. Both of the nails were very good, but I think we ended up preferring the venison. The plates were beautifully prepared and served. Our food came out within about 15 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service we received. We will definitely be back again and hopefully the lamb will be available.

It might have been busy because it was a holiday weekend. There are crepes, both sweet and savory as well as coffee. We only wanted some coffee because we already had breakfast. We got the honey lavender latte and ooh la latte. They guy said the drinks are usually sweet so we asked them to make it less sweet. Drinks came out fast and I have to say the honey lavender was really good with a lavender whip cream on top. I will absolutely come back when I'm in town to try the crepes.
