This restaurant is a good choice! We got the trout and it was delicious. The watermelon mule was also great. Sitting outside was very nice, and you can make a lap around the pond afterwards to work off your meal. A good spot!

Beautiful property, rustic feel, amazing view, great service, and fantastic food! It wasn't too busy on Father's Day for a 6:00pm reservation. However, it was beginning to get very busy when we were leaving. I've never tasted a prime rib better than Devil's Pool. We will be back!

Had the breakfast buffet. They had a chef to make eggs and omelets. That was very good. They were also carving ham. Coffee and juice were included. Otherwise standard breakfast items, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, bread, fruit, oatmeal. Steep price for what you get.

Devils Pool Sundae - choc Chip cookie, brownie and Oreos. Huge

Well, it's tough bc this was right by our hotel room and thus, easy to access, but the value for quality is lacking. One night - our baby needed to go down so we ordered pick-up to go and my husband walked over to get it. We got a chicken Cobb salad and a kids cheeseburger with fries and they were both ready before promised and delicious (my Cobb didn't have the blue cheese but did have the extra tomato I asked for so, 50/50). The next night, we came in specifically for the Devil's Pool Sundae which is a decadent brookie brownie cookie with Oreos and ice cream and whipped cream and fudge. I suspect this is supposed to be served warm and it wasn't even remotely warm - super disappointing. We didn't have time to complain bc after waiting 15 minutes with our baby we couldn't wait longer before going to put her to bed. It's easy and above the pool and I like the Buzzard Bar below plus the menu has some yummy items so it's a solid 3.5 stars bc lacking in attention to details and prices aren't cheap.

It was over 2 hours to wait upstairs so we went down stairs to eat which is the same menu. The kids Mac and cheese was bland but understandable so. The appetizer was spinach artichoke dip, it was pretty bland and had a different taste to it can't really describe it. The house salad was probably my favorite only wish goat cheese was all over salad and not in one spot. The dressing was delicious and fun to try. The salmon was delicious but underneath it, whatever it was, not good at all and made my mouth itchy! Great option while staying on property

Wonderful atmosphere and great food and drinks with fast and friendly service. The natural beauty of the area is amazing and the restaurant is located in the middle of it all!

Omelet - Ham, Bacon, American and Pepper jack cheeses, served with hash browns

TLDR: Stunning lodge vibe, attentive service, killer omelet & eggs, but hash browns were overcooked and under-seasoned. Worth a visit. My wife and I were in Branson for an early week getaway chasing fall colors and ducked into Devil's Pool for breakfast. The place looks like a millionaire's hunting cabin, dark wood, stone hearth, killer views of the lake. Ambiance is a big win. Service was friendly and proactive: butter, jam, ketchup, and hot sauces hit the table before we even asked. I built my own omelet (bacon, ham, American, pepper jack) and it was textbook--meats folded into the eggs for even flavor, fluffy, perfectly cooked. Came with a big pile of hash browns that, sadly, missed the mark: overcooked to the point of hard crisp and lacking any real seasoning. A little salt and a lighter hand on the griddle would've made them sing. My wife's Missourian was mostly a win: eggs over-easy nailed, bacon crisp, sausage bold. Her hash browns suffered the same fate, overly crunchy bland and slightly burnt on the edges. The toasted English muffin was a nice touch. Devil's Pool has the bones of a five-star breakfast spot, gorgeous setting, thoughtful service, strong mains. If they dial in the hash browns, it's a slam dunk. As is, it's very good but not quite flawless. Still recommend, just temper expectations on the potatoes.

During my many trips to Branson, Missouri, Devil's Pool Restaurant in Ridgedale is one of my favorite stops because of the view from its windows, the welcoming dining room, the fireplace, the professional service, and of course, the delicious menu. It's a place to enjoy any occasion or simply to relax. My only request is that they bring back the Smoked Prime Rib to the menu. Before Iet you go, Robert, is a great person and an absolute professional.

The hostess at the front was the highlight of our dinner. She was truly very sweet and really trying hard to greet people with a smile. The rest of the experience was just...okay. The cheddar biscuits were fantastic. But the rest of the food was sadly very disappointing. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was so overdressed that there was a pool of salad dressing plus liquid (maybe water from them washing the lettuce) on the plate. I couldn't finish it. The fried ravioli were very basic. I got the Prime Rib and it was grilled which was odd. It was so tough and dry that I couldn't chew it. We didn't have a view of the lake from where we were seated. I was so excited about this restaurant but for $200 and very lackluster food, we wouldn't go back sadly. The wait staff was kind though, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Amazing view! The food is good and the scenic view is stunning. The service on this night was very slow, albeit friendly. I couldn't believe it took an hour to bring my dinner salad. I was told there was a large group, however, the restaurant wasn't full. It felt like an excuse. The server was very nice and offered to prepare a hit tea to go. I accepted not realizing that she was going to charge me as I thought it was a gesture of good will for the unbearable wait. Anyway, the view is lovely and the food was good but just know that the service can be slow.

The irony of the first course is I always associate persimmons with Autumn but they were perfect in the arugula salad. I feel guilty about my seafood allergy usually requiring at least one substitution but what I was treated to instead of the octopus (which everyone else raved about) was the pistachio crusted lamb lollipops from the restaurant's main menu. Lamb, and green... what better expression of Spring? I would say that was the best lamb I have ever been served but it only displaced the last time I had it at Worman. The tortellini and striploin were scrumptious as well but the dessert tonight was over the top. Several of us commented that we'd never be satisfied with plain ol' strawberry shortcake again. I've tried myself to put an Italian spin on this summertime staple before by macerating the sliced, sweetened berries in balsamic then whipping flecks of minced basil into the cream. Like a caprese salad, the resulting green, white, and red are an homage to their flag. But the inclusion of limoncello was absolutely inspired! Service, as always, was in a league all its own. But I was especially aware this dinner of the artistry of whatever small army of platers there must be hidden back in the kitchen. Whether it's a more intimate wine dinner in the library or we take over the restaurant proper like at Celebration of Tastes, every course comes out looking as consistently beautiful up and down the table. Growing up in a family of 4 kids, Food FOMO was a real thing. My poor mother had to keep track of whose turn it was to get the coveted dab of bacon in a can of pork & beans or sliver of cherry in fruit cocktail. No one leaves Worman House feeling shortchanged.

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservations, the place was pretty empty however they still made us wait until 5 minutes after our reservation time. We had requested a window seat which quite a few were available and they tried to seat us elsewhere! Already I had a bad taste and I hadn't even sat down. After about 3 more minutes she seated us by the window. We were there for a friend's birthday celebration and wanted it to be special. Her husband told the server. My husband ordered the Worman's Manhattan. He really enjoyed the current infused rye whiskey in it. It added a very unique flavor to the drink. We were brought a complimentary chef's taste of a goat cheese on a small bagette and small glass of sparkling wine. My husband ordered the seafood pot pie and I had the French onion soup and winter spice cranberry salad. The soup was very good and flavorful but the salad was average and definitely not worth the price. My husband enjoyed the seafood pot pie. It was a very generous serving . He shared some with me. It was very rich and creamy. I didn't particularly like the mussels and clams still in their shells inside the" pie" however the pot pie is just pastry crust over a cast iron pan with the creamed sea food. After the meal we were given some stale macaroons with filling that tasted like frosting. There was No acknowledgement of my friend's birthday. We decided to walk down to see Harry's cocktail bar downstairs before calling our shuttle. The manager came into the bar in a bit of a hurried frenzy as we were walking out and asked if it was someone's birthday. We pointed to our friend and he told her happy birthday and then left?!?! Overall I was disappointed in the experience for the amount of money we spent.
