I can't say enough good things about this place. We camp in the area often and this has turned out to be where my wife and I always want to go for a nice evening out. The service has always been good and the food spectacular. It can get a little loud when it's slammed, but hey, they are busy for a reason. We went here the other night and I decided to try something different so I got their version of pork chops. It had apple slices on it. Who puts apples on pork chops!? Well, they do and it was great! I thought I would regret not getting the filet, but nope! I'll probably get the same thing next time. My wife has ordered the Mediterranean Chicken twice and loves it. We also ordered the Warm Goat Cheese Caprese (which I failed to take a picture of) and it was fabulous. I highly recommend this place! read more

First, it's extremely loud here. Don't expect to come and have any convos without screaming. We were seated quickly but it took a good while for the server to come by and take our drink orders. Then those took a good while to come. I asked for a straw, and ten minutes later finally got one. On to the food! It was delicious. We were a large group and everyone got something different and everyone was happy with their meal. My only complaint is that a Cesar salad costs $$ but is the same size as the side salad. This is a great restaurant in Branson West at Tablerock lake. Been open a few years now offering everything from burgers and poorboys to filet, ribeye, shrimp and lobster. Dress is casual. Menu stays pretty much the same but offers multiple specials every night. My wife likes the New Orleans shrimp, cooked in a (not too) spicey sauce with toasted french bread for dipping and soaking up thst delicious juice. We always split the wedge salad and its delicious, made the classic way with blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onion and cucumber slices plus plenty of real bacon on top. Big enough to share. I had the special salmon picatta over pasta. The salmon was a large thick portion about 1/2 of one side of the filet. I forgot to order it medium to med-rare like i always do cause i like it juicey and salmon can be dry when overcooked...but this was cooked perfectly, not as rare as i typically like it but with the light olive oil juice in the pasta topped with capers it was plenty juicey and delicious. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Erath Pinot Noir with dinner which was berry light and tasty. For desert the vanilla creme brulle hit the spot. Highly recommend this spot. Nice steak and seafood restaurant in Kimberling City. We arrived on a busy Friday night and they were able to seat a party of three. I will definitely make reservations next time. We did have a bit of wait to get drinks and appetizers, but it was worth the wait. My husband had steak and I had shrimp. Both delicious. My daughter had grouper, least favorite of the three. What a hidden little gem! We drove a bit to get here and were so glad we made the drive. The restaurant is very well kept and clean. The walls are tastefully adorned with all sorts of lake time memorabilia. We started with a nightly special appetizer of Blackened Mahi Mahi bites which were prepared perfectly. For our main course my son enjoyed the Chicken Pomodoro which was such a light fresh pasta dish. It was like a chicken spaghetti bruschetta. I myself had the 8oz filet, cut in house. Accompanied with a loaded baked potatoe, freshly sautéed zucchini & squash, & of course any steak must come with sautéed mushrooms. Everything was prepared perfectly. The steak was at the correct temp, med rare, and the veggies a perfect al dente. They also had a live musician which added to the already beautiful ambiance of the restaurant itself. The food was good - I had a house salad, potato soup, and the Mediterranean chicken. The portion of chicken has huge! Like 10oz of chicken so I was pretty happy about that. Tucked away in Kimberling City only 25 minutes outside of Branson is EXCELLENT food at Laketime Bistro! EVERYTHING I tried tasted like it was prepared by a CHEF and NOT food warmed up from a box! These dishes were true recipes that took time and care which resulted in a WONDERFUL dining experience. I'm disappointed I didn't get pictures of what I ordered because the presentation was fabulous too. For appetizers we got the stuffed mushrooms and the New Orleans shrimp. BOTH were amazing!! I don't know what is in the sauce for the New Orleans shrimp but I want to put it on EVERYTHING. Entrees were the most tender and juiciest pork tenderloin and the grilled salmon. Everything my lovely bride and I have eaten here in our many many visits since this great little eatery has opened has been excellent!! We have had grouper (fish), baked jalapeños, shrimp New Orleans, Turkey Hot Shot, Latin Chicken, char grilled salmon and on and on has been cooked to perfection!! No fried stuff here which is what originally attracted us to try it out. Desserts are varied and go fast. The wait staff and owners are friendly and on the spot!! To sum up this is a great place to eat and more than likely make this your go to eatery if you are just visiting the lake or live here (as we do). Try it!! read more

The food is delicious, but the opportunity for the perfect experience is massively missed with the ambiance. Ambiance being that it is PAINFULLY loud inside. I've been to concerts and sporting events that didn't make me want to pull my ears off as much as this place does and I lovvvve my music loud. As an interior designer, the fix is easy. Put down commercial carpeting and add a soft finish somewhere. Anywhere. Curtains, cushions on the seats, a circus tent on the ceiling. Anything. I can't imagine how a restaurant thrives when patrons are praying for the meal to be over to find relief for their sensory system. This place has so much potential, but please consider your noise level. You have an entire off season. Fix it. read more

After a long day, I wanted to order takeout and go home and relax. I ordered a ribeye, which came with Brussel sprouts and baked potato. Ribeye was delicious. Temperature was medium, rare, just as ordered. Brussels sprouts were really tasty with slight caramelization. Baked potato was not overdone and they put the Fixin's on the side just as requested. This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant has only been open a few months in Kimberling City. We've eaten here 8 times already. The menu isn't large, but it has a great variety of choices. My plan is to eventually try every single item on their menu. Favorites so far: Baked Jalapeños, Shrimp New Orleans, Crab Cakes, Stuffed Mushrooms, Turkey Hot Shot, Jumbo Diver Sea Scallops, Chargrilled Salmon, Ribeye, and Filet. I'll start with the food, it was good- not great but decent for what it was, very well seasoned. Their drink menu advertised "flavored margs, daiquiris and pina coladas", our waitress said there wasn't any flavors that she knew of instead of offering to see what they could do. She may have been new but she didn't seem to know much about what was offered and what could be done. Most of our table sat with empty drinks and she didn't stop back by much to check. And this place is extremely loud, feels more like a sports bar. When you walk in it has a high end feel, the prices seem that way and the food boarders it. All in all it was alright. read more

Excellent food in a quaint cute atmosphere. The crab cakes appetizer was fresh and tasty. Served with some greens and a freshly made tarter sauce.
