Lantz Master Plumber Justin Barnett arrived and I thought all was well until he requested that I take a "peek" into what I would describe as a total catastrophe about to happen at any moment. The grinder system was a horror of failing pump and sewage accumulation and related nasties. Justin told me my options from doing nothing to fixing it with 3 options, which were clearly defined with costs and various replacement components and when it would be finished. We chose wisely. Justin returned with all of the components and in 4 hours it was stripped completely and reassembled with new components. Justin is organized, articulate, educated and polite. I was super impressed with how easy the onboarding process was - communication was fast, detalled, and I knew exactly what to expect the day of the cleaning. I loved that I received an alert when the team was on the way and their approximate arrival time - so helpful! Since I work from home, the team asked very considerate questions about which rooms to clean first, what would be the most convenient / least disruptive for me, etc. They were efficient, detailed, and I was blown away by the quality of the clean. And the best part - my home smelled AMAZING. I don't know what type of magic they infuse into their eco-friendly cleaning products, but I would like to buy it in bulk please! :).

While I don't believe we will be using them moving forward I respect that they stand behind their work. Our former housekeeper moved so we recently had Purple Fig come in for an initial cleaning with the hopes of setting up a twice a month or bi-weekly service. We were quoted ~$280 per visit which was higher than our old housekeeper but seemed reasonable enough given they bring multiple people. They claimed the first clean was to bring things up to the "Purple Fig Standard" but when I got home after the cleaning I genuinely had trouble understanding what they did while in my home other than leave a candy cane on our kitchen counter. They don't do any laundry (even bed sheets/towels, not looking for a wash and fold service here) which is frustrating but I can somewhat understand given the time a laundry cycle takes. The most egregious offense was that they apparently also dont do any dishes . Again, i'm not asking for a post-Thanksgiving dinner cleanup here but we had a few pans and plates from last nights dinner in the sink and they didn't touch them. Overall, my wife and I struggled to understand what they really did to clean our home. When we decided not to continue with the bi-weekly service they then retroactively charged us $470 for the initial clean. For the price they charge not doing laundry or even tidying up the kitchen when there are a few dishes in the sink doesn't feel worth it. The best part of a cleaning service is coming home to a clean house that you can see and feel as soon as you walk through the door. With Purple Fig, I walked in to a house that felt like the cleaning service had to reschedule for another day

They waited for me patiently when I didn't answer the door, didn't answer the phone, or respond the text. I was KNOCKED OUT & didn't hear my 5 alarms! I did however hear my cat HOWLING telling me, WOMAN GET YOUR #### UP! Bear Could have easily just left. I had been holding off on getting these things done due to said anxiety so going thru finding someone else & scheduling again would have been pure horror for me. I am so grateful they were EARLY & had some extra time to wait for me. I also had a big event (Yelpies) the same day so I was so concerned about being late but Bear was 15 mins early which to them is how they operate. They had my 8 requests we aligned on up & memorized. They have a process & the output is QUALITY and beating customer expectations. I promise you this company will beat your expectations. If you are curious what they did for me, below is my list: 1. Take down a pendant light & put back up std light / cover 2. Check Fluorescent lights where light bulbs changed but won't come on; fuse may need changed (Garage & Laundry Rm) 4. Check why power is out in 3 outlets in Kitchen / Dining room 5. Replace light plate in kitchen 6. Change light bulbs pendant that is high up in front of stairs in foyer 7.
