Amazing! Biscuits&gravy - better than we get in the south! All items on menu are delicious and service is always friendly and impeccable!

The wait on a Sunday morning was over an hour, so my friend and I opted to order takeout. We walked up and placed our order with the host behind the bar. She was pleasant and told us it would take about 30 minutes. Our food was ready as soon as we got there. We took it to a park just a few minutes away, so it was still nice and hot. Devo's Favorite sandwich was a solid choice. It was loaded with meat, specifically the ham. The gouda and chipotle mayo are what pulled me in, and also what pulled the sandwich together. The potatoes were good, I just wished they had been crispier. We both wanted sweet and savory, so we split that meal as well as the banana bread french toast. It was definitely a heavy dish. I didn't pick up on much of the french toast part, as it seemed more like a few big pieces of banana bread as-is. The bacon also didn't seem to be "peppered" as advertised. This was still a tasty meal, but left us wanting more. Overall, I'm a little surprised this is such a popular spot. Maybe I would have needed to dine in or try other items to get the full experience. Two trips! Don't go once, but twice. This place is a well-oiled machine, but you'd never know it with personable service, and servers who let you know the kitchen hacks. We enjoyed our trip to Fox Island and Gig Harbor so much, and a lot of the joy came from biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict from here. They do get busy which can get a little crowded or noisy, but all in all, it's worth the hustle to get the food. read more

On our quest to explore Washington, we decided to stop and have breakfast. Only table available was outside, which worked out perfectly because the views are awesome. Our waitress was a sweetheart, attentive and making sure we didn't need anything. I'm giving this a 4 because my husband loved his biscuit breakfast sandwich. When we initially ordered it, we didn't expect it to be so huge! He was satisfied with it and left with a full stomach. He had the Cafe Cubano and he loved it as well. If my husband wasn't with me, I would have given Devoted Kiss a 3. I had the ham and egg croissant and the Bloody Mary. I asked for the egg to be over hard, but unfortunately it was left as over medium. The croissant was flaky and delicious, and I'm sure the sandwich was too, but as soon as I took a bite from it, there was pesto mayo everywhere. If you love pesto mayo, this is your sandwich! There was just too much mayo for me to enjoy it. I ended up wiping some off with a napkin, just to be able to eat it. I dug into the potatoes, which were seasoned nicely. After a few bites though, I noticed they just fell apart as soon as I tried to get them on my fork. I'm not sure if they make them fresh to order, but they didn't seem too fresh to us. We would give this place a try again, if only for the wonderful service and views. read more

Hands down the BEST breakfast I've had in years! We were a party of six, visiting from Florida and we got it all: eggs Benedict, waffles, traditional eggs and bacon, biscuits and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was exceptional! The prices are amazing too! They could easily charge more! I highly recommend the eggs Benedict. Perfectly poached eggs and the ham is way better than traditional Canadian Bacon. Well well, this is a gem! Buds and I were on a road trip and had seen this place had good reviews and so we stopped in. It was around 10 am on a Saturday, so of course there was as bit of a wait. 20 minutes is not bad. Cassandra was our server and she was fantastic, The coffee is really good! I had the eggs benedict and it was really really good. Bud had the banana bread french toast and loved it. Everything was really good and they make their own home-made cinnamon rolls- you can watch them prepare them before you come in the restaurant. They are so good, get one to go! I'm always looking for good breakfast spots and I was glad to come across Devoted Kiss Cafe while our dog was at the groomers. I love the clean and modern interior as well as the friendly service. All the tables had been occupied so we were offered outdoor seating with a lovely view of the waterfront which we didn't mind despite the cold weather. I needed something to keep me warm so I ordered a cup of hazelnut latte in which I discovered Cutter's Point Coffee. The coffee was really good so I was convinced to check out this particular roast to brew at home. Our waitress was very upbeat and friendly. We ordered eggs benedict with pulled pork and fresh salsa and oh my goodness -- it was absolutely amazing! The yolk, hollandaise sauce, pork, salsa topping, potatoes and all just hit the spot! I wanted to save the other half for later but I just kept wanting to take more bites! Very, very satisfying and probably the best breakfast dishes I've ever had in a long time. We stopped by while driving through Gig Harbor and got an order for take out. My husband and I both got the gluten free Cubans, one with potato salad and one with fresh fruit. Our son got a gluten free Devos favorite breakfast sandwich with fruit. The Cubans were ok but unfortunately too salty and oily. I had to take the pork out of the sandwich because it made the sandwich way too salty and oily. The bread on that side of the sandwich had oil soaked completely through. The Devo's favorite sandwich was however divine. The mix of creamy egg with the pesto and ham was magical. My husband and I both stated that we would both order that next time instead. The sides of fruit were generous and tasted fresh but the potato salad was a little bland. Prices were steep but the sandwiches were large and filling and we very much appreciate the Gluten free options. read more

Brunch brunch brunch! Brunch is the word. This place is cute. We mainly came for their patio dining. It's still somewhat covered. Gig harbor gets very busy for brunch since there are only so many places in town. This one had the shortest wait: 20 minutes! Wasn't too bad. The salmon benny was good. Bloody Mary was better! They are pretty fast and efficient indoor but outdoor seems to had a longer wait for most things. We had a group of 5 and it took a little while for us. And dogs are not allowed even on the patio at this particular spot. Other places in town are more dog friendly. I liked my dish but others in the group didn't. Missing items and such. Cute spot though. I'll try indoor dining next time. read more

Such a cute spot and the food is incredible. We have dined in and ordered takeout and both were fantastic! Their biscuits and gravy are some of the best I've ever had, the Beechers in the biscuit adds a nutty sharpness and creates so much depth, beautifully paired with the rich sausage gravy. On a weekday we dined in and the service was wonderful, they helped us when we couldn't decide between all of the amazing menu options and found a way for us to try everything while still keeping the bill very reasonably priced! They are very busy on the weekends but takeout is a great option if you're not feeling like waiting for a table. read more

We were driving through the area and hungry (we are not locals). Due to the pandemic, you need to call ahead and make a reservation for indoor seating. But! They had some outdoor seating in the front that we were able to enjoy. Service was friendly, bathroom was clean. I got the breakfast burrito with pulled pork. Totally recommend!! Very generous with the meat and was very delicious. I would recommend this place for anyone driving through. You can call ahead to order for pickup/take out. read more

Amazing food and service BUT the restaurant smelled like porta potty!!!!! There is one bathroom which is located right in the middle of the restaurant so you can imagine the smell that leaks into the restaurant where everyone is eating. I suggest the restaurant invest in a high quality vent because this bathroom needs it. read more

Love the view! Makes the restaurant that much better. The food was delicious, this was our first time and we brought some family that were here from out of town. They all loved it. Strange name for a waterfront cafe, but anyway. Amazing service, great waterfront views, nice friendly vibe. The vegetarian and vegan food was just OK -- it was kind of blah and that was my only real gripe. I ordered the "vegan scramble" and my mom ordered the vegetarian wrap with grilled veggies and hummus in a tomato-basil wrap. While it's SO SO nice to see a devoted vegan option on the menu, the vegan scramble was pretty uninspired -- just a bunch of cooked veggies and red new potatoes with some sliced avocado on top. When I see "vegan scramble," I generally think it will be a tofu scramble similar to scrambled eggs, not just a bunch of cooked veggies. I also thought it was a bit strange that when I ordered the "vegan scramble," she said, "So no eggs, right?" My mom liked her vegetarian wrap well enough, but wasn't wild about the tomato-basil pita bread used for the wrap and didn't love the potato salad side either. Basically we both just felt like we had a bunch of cooked veggies for brunch. Which made us feel nice and healthy but it was a little uninspiring. I think their vegetarian/vegan options need a little work to make them more interesting and flavourful. Prices were moderate. The service was amazing though -- all the ladies working here were friendly and smiley and actually seemed to enjoy their jobs (laughing with each other, etc.) And that harbour view is incredible! read more

The latte coffee cups are wonderfully big so that make me want to keep coming back! The customer service was great! Because of Covid it's a good idea to make reservation. I love this little gem on the harbor but today I ordered their eggs Benedict and it tasted like I was spooning salt directly out of a salt shaker. Please my dear hard working chefs! People can add salt if they want but we can't take it out if you put it in. There are some such as myself who need to avoid excessive salt. It's a life and death issue. read more

I've been coming here for years so I figured I owned them a review! This place is great for a truly homemade breakfast or lunch. It's all made fresh, from scratch and it shows. It's always clean and while the menu is limited it's wish yummy. On the most recent visit my daughter and I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and potatoes. The sauce was so creamy and yummy, perfectly poached eggs and just the right amount of smoked salmon. It was perfect. One also had their biscuits in the past and loved them. Homemade is truly the best, especially when it comes to breakfast items imo. They seem to be gandering covid well also. The tables were well spaced and the staff felt very confident about what they were doing. I've seen many local joints struggle with the changes so it's nice to see them being successful with it. read more

I got the Eggs Benedict and the meal was absolutely divine. It was perfectly balanced with a crispy biscuit and a flavorful sauce on top. It was the perfect meal for a cold fall day. This place also has a great view of the water. We went at lunch time so unsurprisingly there was a 50 minute wait, however they make it really convenient and text message you when your table is ready. There are so many cute shops to check out around the area while you wait, making it a great day trip. The staff is friendly as well! Next time I have to try their Bloody Mary.
