Calvin and Teresa welcome you at the door and there you see some great CPY merch. Beyond that is one small room. Although it's not "hot yoga," they keep the room pretty warm, and cold outside Update- 5 Stars because years later I return to CPY to find my previous 4 stars inadequate. Recently I've given a few yoga studios a try while deciding to get back into a more regular practice. I revisited CPY and realized how much is missed it/how much better it suited me than many other local studios. The focus of the ashtanga practice at CPY is not just fitness (though that's an added side effect) but rather on breathing and being present. I've also been getting into mindful meditation and their style pairs well with it. It's totally non-judgmental and the studio is incredibly inviting. This starts with the instructors. Theresa and Calvin make you feel immediately welcome and treat you like a friend in a way that feels totally authentic. The classes are challenging but you're encouraged to take breaks in child's pose and listen to your body. At the end of the practice is a Shavasana that will have you feeling calm and relaxed on the way back to your car. Another lovely touch is that they offered wonderfully aromatic tea as you left the class. It's a little touch but many little touches like this create a wonderful overall experience. The one thing I wish is that they had earlier classes for those who want to get a class in before work (currently the earliest is 9am). Otherwise, I wouldn't change a single thing. It's my favorite studio in Orlando and I really look forward to the classes!

I have now been going consistently to Theresa and Calvin for a year and a half and my body, balance and strength has changed significantly! They exude extreme passion and love for yoga. They lead by example! You feel as if you are getting a private lesson in a group class. I can't think of a more supportive environment mentally and physically! It is truly a spiritual experience! I've been practicing with Heidi (owner) since she opened the original Bodhi Om Yoga Studio back in Autumn 2023. I've taken over 300 classes since then, which still surprises me because when I first showed up, I wasn't a yoga person at all. I went in expecting yoga to be silly, but I knew I needed to move more and find some mental calm. Yoga worked. Now, I can't imagine my week without it. The Bodhi Om studio has a cozy, boutique feel that makes it easy to relax and actually enjoy being there. You see the same faces often enough that you start to know people's names, and it becomes its own little community. Most classes are taught by Heidi, who sets the tone with warmth and humor, but every instructor she brings on is just as talented and thoughtful. After hundreds of sessions, I honestly can't remember a single bad class. What I love most is how approachable yoga is. Even as a regular, I still think of myself as a beginner, and new students can jump right in without feeling out of place. The classes range from gentle yin and deep-stretch sessions to more energetic flows that'll get your heart rate up - but they all end with grounding relaxation. Many classes include meditation or sound baths with bowls, and you can choose whether you'd like essential oils or adjustments during poses. It's incredibly personalized; you can tell every detail was designed with care. The studio space itself is spotless and calming, with dim, relaxing lighting and great decor. There's ample parking, which is rare in Winter Park, and while the restroom is down the hall, that's really the only minor inconvenience. After several years of steady practice at Bodhi Om, I'm stronger, my posture is better, my lower back pain is gone, and I just feel more balanced. If you want an authentic yoga experience that feels personal and welcoming (not like a gym), Bodhi Om is the place. It's a studio where you can grow, breathe, and actually belong. I was so excited to hear that Firefly Yoga would be coming back to Downtown Orlando. They used to have a studio next to The Sanctum, then opened their second studio in Ocoee, and eventually focussed solely on the Ocoee studio for a few years. When I heard they were returning, I was blown away by their new model. A passionate group of yoga instructors banded together to create The Collective, where they volunteer to teach classes. With this model, the money they collect goes straight to rental of the space (and tea, if they ever make more than they need to keep the studio open). This means that the prices are some of the lowest in Orlando. The drop-in rate is $8 (WUT.) and unlimited yoga is $60/month (will increase to $70/month for new members starting in June '19). This is absurdly low and only makes sense because this is less of a business and more of a passion project to bring Firefly back to Orlando.
