When I was trying to get quotes for service and was dealing with poor and long drawn-out communication with other pest control companies, he stood out in the best possible way, promptly returning my call to schedule an inspection and consultation. Juan was also the least alarmist in his assessment of my problem. After the inspection he told me where he thought the rodents were coming in from and then offered a conservative plan of treatment: installing wire screens over those entry points, placing traps in the attic and crawl space, and monitoring the areas for a month to see if the rats returned. Compare this to a consultation and quote from another company, where they seemed to describe my attic as one big hazmat situation filled with rat droppings. On top of the exclusion service, they were pressuring me to do a costly deep cleaning of the attic with an install of new insulation, saying that they were available the next day to do all the work and that the rats would multiply exponentially if I didn't act soon. I didn't feel comfortable with being scared into the hard sell, so I didn't go with that company. (Later on I asked Juan if I needed my attic cleaned, and he said that the number of droppings was pretty minimal, so no.) It's been a month since the barrier screens were installed, which seemed to have solved the problem right away -- during each weekly follow-up visit from Pro Excel Pest to check the traps, they came up empty. And thankfully I'm not hearing any more squeaking or chewing noises in any part of my house. Am so happy with the result, and was happy to work with someone as pleasant, professional and efficient as Juan.

They spent 4 days totally repairing all the wood damaged and 1 day on paint. I want to specially call out that our main carpenter Adrian F. did a great quality job and addressed all of my concerns. There is another carpenter Eric who worked one day with Adrian who also did a good job. The tenting was done and scheduled accordingly. We also had Daniel come in and perform the bora care treatment professionally. There were some hassles in between including the underestimation of number of days that were needed for wood repair. Scheduling issues that 5 days of repair work got scattered into 4 weeks. The first day one carpenter put a dent on my brand new AC unit when he hammered down the fascia board. Also one section of the wood support was not done right, more than 2 rafter tails in a row got cut the roof eave so it was sagging and caused us a panic. They sent their manager to address our concerns and assure that it was corrected and that the correct work would be done. The carpenters fixed the previous mistakes and did great work in the end. So overall not a smooth experience yet I am willing to give it 5 stars because they did honor the original quote, and ended up doing more wood repair than originally quoted as it was discovered during the process. Thus going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work despite the initial issues.

Their warranty period is much shorter than many other companies in the industry, which should have been a red flag from the beginning. In my experience, this company seemed far more interested in collecting additional payments than in actually solving the customer's problem. The service was unprofessional, communication was poor, and there was no accountability when their treatment failed. I would be especially cautious when dealing with Jesus the inspector who is nice at the beginning but they don't really know what they are doing and John who is the general Manager of the company, as my interactions with them were extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I am so dissatisfied with how this situation was handled that I am considering pursuing the matter in Small Claims Court. Save yourself the frustration, expense, and stress.
