I had dinner here with my daughter recently and I was a little disappointed this time. My daughter got the House side salad and I got the Candied Walnut Grape. Unfortunately, my salad had a ton of black pepper in it. I love black pepper so it was a lot for it to be overwhelming for me. I'm familiar with the salad, as I order it every time I eat at Dewey's. I have no idea why this salad had been doused in black pepper. We order a large pizza (wanting to have leftovers to take home). We did half Ryan's Inferno and the other half was Socrate's Revenge. The Ryan's Inferno side was a bit dry and had several dry dough bubbles. The Socrate's Revenge side was much better. The service was great, as usual at most Dewey's. Also, they have both types of high chairs - the wooden type for upright sitting and the sling type for car seats. read more

We received a gift card for Door dash from a neighbor and decided to use it tonight. I've heard great things about Dewey's as we just moved to the area. We were going to order two different pizzas because I'm vegetarian but it would have come to almost $60. So we chose calzones instead. They were awful! Flat, chewy, greasy, hardly any toppings inside and sauce was way too spicy. It's a hard never again. read more

I haven't had Dewey's in a while but they got my attention with the Skyline Dip pizza. Sadly this thing barely had anything on it except an abundance of onion. Super thin layer of cheese with some parts of the pizza cheese/less. Couldn't taste or see the chili dip. It had a few beans and maybe 7 small diced tomatoes. What a waste of money. read more

We love Dewey's pizza, specialty pizzas. We always loved coming here when our daughter was little and watching them make pizzas through the windows. They would always put on a show for the kids. It's been awhile since I've had Dewey's Pizza. I'm a huge fan and used to go to the Oakley location. Since we moved, the Anderson Township is closer to us. There's a slight change in the menu. I was bummed that they no longer have the wild mushroom. That was my fave. But I was able to try something new. But for the most part, they kept it the same. Especially their salads! They are all so good and my fave is the peppercorn ranch. We dined in on a Saturday night. It was only a 15 minute wait. We ordered: -Peppercorn Ranch salad: Romaine, bacon, tomatoes, shaved parmesan, red onions, peppercorn ranch dressing -Half and Half 17" pizza: Caprice Olive oil, minced garlic, fontina, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, roasted cherry tomatoes. Dr Dre: Olive oil, mozzarella, green bell peppers, red onions, all-natural chicken, bacon, house-pickled jalapeños, with tomatoes and ranch added after the bake) Drinks: Great Lakes Eliot Ness Caparzo Sangiovese Everthing was perfect! The salad tasted epic since I last had it 7 years ago. The crust on my pizza was amazing! Fresh tomatoes, cheese well balanced and you can taste that garlic! My only complaint was not enough basil (smiley face). My Mr. loved his pizza. We had leftovers but that's quite alright. And our drinks paired so well with the meals! Ordered a side salad and a calzone via DoorDash. The salad was fine but the calzone was inedible. I cut it open and a ton of liquid poured out. Maybe the mushrooms? I'm surprised it's taken me this long to check out this location in Anderson Township. I know this area very well and it has a lot to offer. Plus I usually enjoy Dewey's anytime I've gone and this visit is no exception. Great service and excellent pizza that anyone enjoy. I talked my boss and co-worker into going, and of course, it didn't take too much persuasion for them to say yes. Who says no to pizza, right? It wasn't too busy for a noon lunch. The inside looks just like you expect for a Dewey's, about the same as other locations, featuring the usual menu of salads and pizzas. I still like how they keep the kitchen visible via windows. One of the cooks was entertaining some kids by tossing the dough and playing up to them. They really liked it. As for us, we decided to do a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza, half killer veggie and half Don Corleone. We definitely didn't wait long at all before the pizza was ready. The combination turned out really good too. I was a big fan of the veggie especially with the fresh tomatoes after added after the pizza was cooked. We were all satisfied by what we got and by the service. I can't say Dewey's is the best pizza ever, but I can absolutely say they are consistently good. You get a great deal for the money, quality pizza and salads, and really good service. Dewey's does it good! read more

Put in an order online and sent my husband to pick up. Online ordering wasn't working well for me at the time, finally went through and never gave a time for pick up. Sent my husband to pick up and he had to wait for over 45 for our calzone. He finally got home with the calzone and it was very MID. Barely filled with anything! We hadn't been here in awhile due to poor customer service last time we dined in. We just won't be back. So sad Dewey's used to be so good, I think this location has some issues that need to be worked out at an owner level. read more

Anderson Dewey, It's the goat cheese for me. Anyway, Dewey's is the nicest neighborhood spot and we prefer to dine in the dining room. I started my night here by joining an online waitlist because no reservations are accepted here. However, after waiting in the car for a bit, I get a text from them saying my spot is lost "due to unforeseen circumstances." I had other reservations scheduled later in the evening, so I went inside and settled for a spot at the bar to eat at. I ordered the gluten free crust which comes in 12 inches and it was more than enough for one meal plus a second meal of leftovers - definitely shareable. Dewey's crust has always seemed on the thin side for me, however it was filling nonetheless. For my three toppings, I chose mushrooms, olives, and spinach. The toppings weren't fully baked into the cheese and the spinach was a little tough. While the cheese was slippery and messy, it had a delicious rich flavor. I would love to see dairy free cheese come to this location. Overall, it was a delicious gluten free pizza but this location is a bit disorganized. read more

Dewey's is a Cincy favorite and it really is good. It's never blown my mind but it has fluffy crust and full of toppings. I do like whatever oil mix they use on the edges, it's subtle but tasty! Service is awesome all around. On a Friday night, we were quoted 5-15min wait, enough time for our toddler to watch the guys in the back build pizzas from almost scratch. Hubs ordered the gluten free pizza with a $3 upcharge for GF. He didn't love it. Gluten free is so hit or miss, we've had a really hard time finding one he loves but Dewey's definitely doesn't take the top spot for best gf crust. Toddler and I split an 11in cheese pizza for $9. For a little kid, she killed three pieces! We were very impressed! Dewey's is a yes for her but not so much for mom... although the food is good, there's nothing to entertain the kiddos. Usually a piece of paper and crayons are offered but I saw almost every mom with a little one in a bit of distress. We were all either holding our kid or giving them our phone to watch videos. Best fresh dough pizza in the area. All toppings are super tasty (we like pepperoni and sausage.) Their salads are also exceptional. And their staff is always very friendly and helpful. Second time I've ordered online though all the steps and confirmed payment with my thumb, only to show up after a 40 minute drive to find that the app didn't submit the order. I has a craving for pizza while in town. I got this rec from my brother in law who said it's legit. Being from Chicago we have our favorite pizza and I trust his tastes. (Chicago has more than just deep dish). Quick order on the phone, we had the largest size they had - southwest style which had some corn and bean salsa with chicken and a chipotle sauce. I'd say the crust was exactly what I was looking for that day. Chewy on the inside and decent crisp on the outside. Quality bread. The toppings were just right and looked absolutely splendid. Good looking pizza just needs to be gobbled up. My young daughter liked the pizza at first, but then started complaining about a tad bit of spice. I didn't taste spiciness myself but something to note for younger eaters for the southwest style pizza. The pizza was cut into slices - which was fine for this craving, I'm more a fan of squares since the slices were cut uneven. I'm a fan of Dewey's. I don't see a reason to try another place when I'm in Cincy...unless other yelpers could convince me to. Btw, the pizza is wonderful as a cold breakfast the next morning. ;) read more

A good Dewey's location. We ordered food for a party. The pickup time was much sooner that we were expecting. Food was in fact ready on time. One of my favorite things about Dewey's is their toppings. Not only are they fresh, but they liberally apply them to the pizzas. As a girl who loves her pizza to be loaded with vegetables this is a very good thing. Socrates Revenge continues to be one of our favorites. All the flavors work well together. The flavors are similar to those found on a Greek salad. Hence being named after Socrates. Ryan's Inferno takes two classics and combines them into one. It is a buffalo chicken pizza with creamy blue cheese crumbles, red onions, and a sprinkling of celery after baking. Celery on a pizza may sound a bit odd, but just as it goes with buffalo wings it goes with the pizza. Cheese pizza was a cheese pizza. Nothing special, but the younger children at the party were happy. Crust on all the pizzas was tougher than I have enjoyed at other locations. We also ordered a Greek salad to go with the pizzas. Salad dressing on the Greek is still quite unique. It is a thick, orangey red sauce, that is on the acidic side. read more

When they brought the pizza out to the table they told us they had made a small error on one side and a new pizza was already in the oven.
